4 The Fusion

The dark forest, despite serving as a boundary that separates the various empires, also contains divisions that separate the various beasts living within. These divisions include the Outer Area, Inner Area, Calamity Zone, and God Zone. Each quadrant, zone, or area has its guardian.

Within the human empire, only the first two zones are considered relatively safe, as the strongest beasts that occupy them are limited to Saint Beasts. The Calamity Zone and God Zone are where the most dangerous and savage beasts reside.

Deep within the Lightning Quadrant's Inner Area, a hovering cocoon emits a dense aura, repelling all surrounding monsters. Inside this cocoon, a man undergoes a profound restructuring process, seemingly impervious to pain or the events surrounding him.

Simultaneously, deep within the Forest, a fierce battle unfolds between a Lightning Tiger and a Green Flaming Lion, both classified as Saint Beasts. Surprisingly, no other beast dares to interfere in their battle. They all stayed back and stared at the two Saint Beasts duel it out.

The green Flame lion of the fire element base continuously shoots fireballs at the Tiger. Each Fireball is packed with a strong heat that leaves scorch marks around the battleground.

The tiger however enveloped itself in a dense golden lighting. Each strike that made contact with him leaves no residue of burn marks indicating how strong the lighting defense is.

"Photon Surge...The Lion said as a surge of fire beamed short and moved quickly towards The Tiger.

"Absolute lightning defense," declared the Tiger. A layer of gold lightning enveloped the Tiger. The beam landed on its body, pushing it back a few meters.

"Hahahaha... You are stronger than I thought. Your husband attempted it years ago but ultimately died. Don't worry; I will make you join him shortly. Know that me killing you is the only mercy I show your Tiger Faction; there won't be anything like negotiations once you're dead." taunted the Lion.

"Hmm, as naive as ever, I see. Do you truly believe I have plans to live beyond today? I acknowledge that my death is imminent, but you won't be the one responsible for it. I trust you're aware of my unique class and its capabilities. So believe me when I say I've foreseen your end, and I assure you, your death will be at my hands."

"Yet, the most tragic aspect of your life isn't even your impending fate; it's much more heartbreaking than you think. Allow me to enlighten you on something you may find intriguing. Three hundred years ago, when you killed my husband, I wasn't shattered because he died, but because he died in a senseless battle that should never have occurred. Initially, I planned to avenge him by taking your life, but due to my obligations as the only guardian left, I postponed that plan. Until one day, Lucas Lionkin, your leader and brother, approached me with an enticing proposition."

"The offer was so compelling that I instantly accepted it upon hearing the details. I harbored resentment towards you for so long, and the prospect of eliminating you to foster an alliance between our races appealed to me. Your arrogance has caused the death of many of my kind over the years. Originally, I intended to bide my time before ending you, but due to recent unforeseen revelations, I had no choice but to expedite the termination process.."

Provoked by the revelation of his manipulated role in the battle, Saber, fueled by anger, taps into his last and ultimate trump card, summoning a 6-meter tall raging fire lion..." Chronos Lion Amalgamation."

The temperature instantly rose to height. The beasts spectating the battle immediately retreated.

"For years, many thought fires are the strongest element mainly due to their destructive nature," Lara, the Tigerkin, commented. "In the right hand, it can be very powerful, but in the hands of a loser like you, that's just a pity. Why don't I teach you why lightning is the greatest?"

Lara clapped her hands, summoning lightning to dance around her body. She began her incantation.

"By the crackling force of the heavens' ire,

In the tempest's heart, where thunders conspire,

Invoke the power, the electric blaze,

Awaken the storm, in lightning's embrace.

Crack and roar, let the lightning descend,

In radiant arcs, my foes shall rend,

By this incantation, let the heavens decree,

Lightning's wrath unleashed through me."

Immediately she ended her incantation, the clouds darken, thunder tears through the sky, and the area becomes shrouded in darkness. Saber, the green fire lion was immediately frozen under the immerse pressure.

However, Lara's life force is drained, bringing her to the brink of death. The incantation came at a cast of her life force.

She points at Saber and utters, "Die, Bitch." A bolt of Thunder immediately shot from her finger cleanly taking off the green Lion's head.

It sounded in crispy nature sending shivers down the spine of the onlookers.

She gasps for air briefly and then closes her eyes. "Let it be a reminder to all of you present here that the Tigerkins are not cowards. Our existence solely serves the Supreme One. Heed my words and made them a constant reminder that should one day, you all want to attack my kind, the one that will come for you will not be the Tigerkin but the Supreme one."

Her words sent another round of shudders through the surrounding beasts. Most creatures were aware that the Tigerkin were devoted followers of the one known as the Supreme One. Their entire lives had been spent awaiting his arrival.

From what they witnessed today, none of them would want to become an enemy of the Tigerkin. Lara alone struck fear into their hearts, and the prospect of facing someone they had revered for eons was even more daunting.

The fight today wasn't meant to happen. Lara is no ordinary cultivator; she possesses a unique class that grants her the ability to peer into the souls and destinies of others.

About a year ago, she felt an irresistible pull. Despite her instincts screaming at her to refrain from looking into her soul, she couldn't resist the urge and took a glimpse into her destiny.

What she saw compelled her to take action. Over the past year, she meticulously made all the necessary plans, and the final one involved her confrontation with the Green Flame Lion.

Despite knowing that according to her vision, today might be her last, she understood that there was more to be revealed. Unconcerned about how, she placed her faith in the Supreme One, made up her mind, and embarked on her final journey.

After few minutes of gasping for air, She transformed into a beautiful human lady and without a delay, she activated a scroll and teleporter far from where the fight occurred.

Simultaneously, the cocoon violently shakes and slowly begins to open. After a few minutes, a 17-year-old young guy emerges, possessing a refined physique, a sharp golden-eyed gaze, and a small ponytail of white hair accentuating his otherworldly appearance. Tattoos mark the cut-off point of his wings, adding to the mystique. He was clad in only a pair of trousers.

After a few minutes, he notices writings in front of his eyes.

[Welcome, host... ]

"What the fuck is going on?"

[Don't be alarmed. I am a scientific and biologically engineered system capable of accessing the human body and aiding in Mana circulation and other energies to aid in cultivation...]

"This is trippy. I must have hit my head or something. This can't be a novel, right?" Rasoul thought to himself.

[No, idiot. This isn't a novel. I am real, so start acting like someone worthy of my attention.]

"She can hear my thoughts..." Rasoul said. "I've never met you before, and I'm sure Clay hasn't either. Why are you acting like a bitch?"

[Clearly, you don't even know your own identity yet. This will be fun, then. Anyways, I am like those systems in your novels back on Earth but much more advanced.]

"Cool then.

[And for your information, I am not a cheat system. I am just here to guide you, so stop daydreaming. To get goodies, you will have to work for it.]

"Figured. You're much more sassy than the ones I read back on Earth," Rasoul remarked.

[Stay focused here, fool. You are in the middle of a forest. You can access me by thinking or calling me "System."]

'System Status...' Rasoul thought, waiting for the Status to appear, just like in every classic novel.
