"You go. You go back home, back home where it's safe." Melina said to them, " The world functions on a higher level when it is controlled. Dreykov has chemically subjugated agents that he has started to plant around the globe."

"And do you know who they test it on?" asked Yelena

" Hmm… No. That's not my department." Melina replied

"Ah, come on, come on. Don't lie to them. Hmm?" Alexei stated

"I'm not lying." Melina said

"You're Dreykov's architect, huh?" Alexei said sarcastically

" What were you? If I was his architect, you were his partner. You were his business partner." replied Melina

"No, no, no. I was patsy!" Alexei said as he banged his hand on the table

"Don't give me that…" Melina said

"He sell me ideology." Alexei interrupted

" Stop with the politics." Melina said

"All the while, bigger…" Alexei once again tried to complain but Natasha had enough

"Shut up! You are an idiot. And you're a coward. You're a coward. And our family was never real, so there's nothing to hold on to." Natasha shouted

" Never family, huh? In my heart, I am simple man. And I think that for a couple deep undercover Russian agents I think we did pretty great as parents, huh? Yes, we had our orders, and we played our roles to perfection" Alexei stated

"That's what I am talking about, in last year I learnt that a family doesn't need any relation to be a family. You just need to be there for them but you weren't their neither of you were their when me and Yelena needed you. That's why I came back because I thought Yelena needed I didn't want be like you two so I came back for her." Natasha said

Kenichi could see Yelena's eyes were moist and she had a smile on her face, after hearing Natasha's words while the two parents were silent.

"Those agents you chemically subjugated around the globe? That was me. I can't let them go I will not let them go" Yelena said after she controlled her emotions and walked away to another room.

" I had no idea." Melina said truthfully

" It's okay, it's okay. I'll go talk to her." Alexei said as he stood up and followed behind Yelena

"I came in here because I didn't want to talk." Yelena said as she saw Alexei walk in the room

" Okay. We, uh… We just sit. We just sit." Alexei said as he sat on the sofa silently

In the dining room, Natasha stood up and motioned Kenichi to follow her.

" Where are you going?" Melina asked

"To do this ourselves" Natasha said

"Don't. You won't survive." Melina said causing Kenichi to raise an eyebrow

" I wish I could believe that you cared. But you're not even the first mother that abandoned me." Natasha said

"No, you weren't abandoned. You were selected by a program that assessed the genetic potential in infants." Melina said

"I was taken?" asked Natasha in surprise while Kenichi who stood beside him sat back silently

"I believe a bargain was struck, your family paid off. But your mother, she never stopped looking for you. She was like you in that way. She was relentless." Melina stated

"What happened to her?" Natasha asked

"Dreykov had her killed. Her existence threatened to uncover the Red Room. Normally, the actions of one curious civilian wouldn't warrant an execution, but, as I said, she was relentless." explained Melina

" I thought about her every day of my life. Whether or not I admitted it to myself, I did." Natasha replied truthfully

"I've always found it best not to look into the past." Melina said

"Then why did you save this? I remember this day. We shot Christmas, Thanksgiving, Easter and summer vacation all in one day. Different backdrops." Natasha said

" Mmm." Melina hummed

"I knew all the presents under the tree were just empty boxes, but I didn't care. I wanted to open every single one… so just for a second it would feel real." Natasha stated

" Let's stop this." Melina said

"Why you doing this?" asked Natasha

"Why does a mouse born in a cage run on that little wheel? Do you know I was cycled through the Red Room four times before you were even born? Those walls are all I know. I was never given a choice." Melina said

"So what about now?" Kenichi interrupted

"What?" asked Melina

"I will make sure that Dreykov doesn't escape this time, like he did from Alexander. Just tell me where he is and I can deal with him" Kenichi said

"How can be you be so sure of that? When even Alexander Gaider couldn't do it what are your chances?" Melina asked

"Much more than Alexander Gaider as I am not arrogant enough to leave Dreykov unless I see his body." Kenichi said

"You think you will be able to reach him? After Alexander Gaider he made sure to hire a Grandmaster just to protect himself right now even Gaider won't be able to get to him." Melina stated

"Hmm... I am better than Gaider" Kenichi said as he released his ki pressuring Melina stiffening her in shock after which he stopped it. "I will deal with Red Room all you have to do is point me towards it"

"I am sorry, I already alerted the Red Room" Melina said

"Good, I am going to deal with them now. Natasha take out one bottle let's see if the serum is rela or Yelena was an exception " said Kenichi as he stood up and started to crack his neck mad shoulders.

"What!? No instead of fighting it would be better to get capture to get to the headquarters and attack from within " Melina said

"It would be easier to destroy them from within " Natasha said

"No, we are not pussyfooting itor anything unlike you guys I don't do spy shit I will make sure there attention stays on me you can deal with the stragglers." Kenichi put his foot down as he didn't wanted to waste time in doing spy shit since he didn't knew how to.

Melina seeing the resigned look on Natasha's face knew that it that Kenichi wouldn't change the plan so she also decided to accept it.

"If you wanna do it like this then let me tell you that Neither I, nor Natasha or Yelena would be directly able to hurt Dreykov"
