Chapter 78- The Better Option

James POV

As if my suffering wasn't enough, the door to my office opened again and my heart skipped a beat as I watched them come in. All three of them just had to pick this time to come in? I knew deep down they weren't here just to say hi but I tried to put a smile on my face and sound welcoming. 

"Mr Khalid, Mr Anderson, Mr Willa, to what do I owe this pleasure?" I asked with a smile Vanessa coming to stand beside me. 

"It is a good thing you both are here, we need to have a serious discussion" Mr. Khalid's Asian accent range in the room. 

"Please excuse us," Mr Anderson said to my lawyer, who was looking around confused. 

"You can go ahead now, I will contact you if I need anything" I said to him, he nodded and we all watched him leave before they all went ahead to take a seat without me having to invite them. 

"What would you like to drink? I could have coffee prepared for you" Vanessa tried being hospitable. They shook their heads rejecting the offer.
