Chapter 72- I am not interested!

Adrian's POV

The Hall was bubbling with activities, people on the dance floor slow dancing to the music. Mom and Dad excused themselves a while after I got back to the table, going over to the dance floor. I would love to have my first dance with Penelope but she seems to be enjoying the conversation she is having with Bethany and Aurora. 

"Would you stop staring, she isn't going anywhere" Diana said munching on a chocolate cake. Penelope would be excited if she knew they were serving one of those. 

"As the days pass I find you almost as annoying as Dean is. It is like talking to the same person" I looked away from Penelope for a bit to turn to Diana. She laughed, cake spilling out of her mouth. Diana used to be very shy and gentle while she and Dean were dating until they got married and Dean rubbed off on her. 

"Where is that husband of yours?" I asked, seeing that the seat beside her was empty.
