Chapter 33- Accused

Penelope's POV

We got back to L.A at exactly Eleven fifty five am in the morning. Since it is a Saturday and we don't have to go back to the office Adrian decided to drive me home even when I made it clear I could call a cab or have Kelvin come pick me up. 

"It is fine, I am already driving, might as well drive you home". He replied with a smile.

" So, where do you live?" He asked. I gave him the address to my house  forgetting James' mess and he drove down.

"You live here?, I mean in this community?" He asked, looking around while driving. 

"Yeah why?" I am a little confused about the question. 

"It just looks like somewhere snobby rich people would love in" He answered flatly with a shrug. I chuckled at his way of viewing the community. He is actually right, everyone here just minds their business  and they don't care what happens to their next door neighbors. 

"Yeah, they are" We both laughed at my reply. I steed at him while he kept on driving down the road.
