Chapter 28 Huo Yan's Grandparents

"Miss Wu, please forgive us. We failed to recognize Mount Tai and offended you. If you want, I can bring more people for you to beat!! Or better still, we can do anything you want us to do!! Just please spare us!!

Wu Mei raised her eyebrows, with a cold smile she asked "Anything?? Anything I tell you to??

The gang leader nodded fervently, beads of sweat rolled down his temples and his eyes were red but he dared not blink.

"Yes, yes I do! The gang leader struggled to bring out his phone with his broken fingers. It was funny watching him fumble around for his phone, especially when his hands were broken and tied up. Don't ask me where or how she got the rope.

After Wu Mei sent the money, she turned to leave the place.

"Huo Yan, how dare you send Miss Lan back!! She is the girl I've chosen for you! Even if you wanted to send her back, you should have let her stay for the night and send her back tomorrow!" Maybe by then she would have recieved your attention! He didn't say that out loud.

Huo Yan sighed helplessly "Grandfather, When I find someone, I'll bring her to you but for now, don't send any lady to me. It won't work".

The other line was cut off, Grandfather Huo put down the phone then picked it back up and put it in his ear.

"Hello?? Hello!! This unfillal brat dared terminated the call!

Grandfather Huo dialed the number again but the mechanical voice that accompanies a call that is switched off.

"Sorry, the number you dialed is switched off, Please try again later, thank you!.

Grandfather Huo threw the phone on the car seat in anger.

"That brat switched off his phone! Why did I have a grandchild like that!!

At this moment Old Madam Huo came out, she saw Grandfather Huo sweating in anger.

"Come, look at your good grandchild! He dared send back Miss Lan back to her house! This child can't even give us face and send her back tomorrow! He even sent her back from the door, he didn't let her in!

Old Madam Huo really is a good wife, she stood by him throughout the dark years and never for once insulted him about being poor. Instead she strived to support him. It can be said that Old Madam Huo is one of the main pillars of the business.

She really doesn't criticize him and all and she is full of ideas. She was the one that set him straight after all the problems that came one after the other made him loose hope in himself. The only reason they called him henpecked is because he was afraid of her whenever she got angry, she is like a tigress protecting her cub whenever she gets angry. Just like now.

Huo Yan is the only child of his parents. Huo Yan's father is the last child of his parents which are Old Madam Huo and Grandfather Huo. His siblings tried to kill him because they perceived him as a threat, after all the assassination attempts they finally sent him abroad. He stayed there for so many years before coming back as entity that everyone feared.
