20 Chapter 20 Meeting Shanshan

Wu Mei came out the moment she heard Shanshan burst into tears. The aura surrounding her became colder, her eyes turned frigid.

"Shanshan, why are you crying?? Did they say anything to you??

Shanshan shook her head. Her watery eyes staring straight into Wu Mei's cold ones.

"Sister Mei, why am I feeling this way??

Wu Mei furrowed her brows when she heard that name from Shanshan. Whenever Shanshan called her Sister Mei it means that she is really sad , at that moment the tomboyish Shanshan is very vulnerable.

"How??

"When I heard their voice, something broke in my heart. Now it feels like I should call them again to hear their voices again, especially that Qian Ling. I'm supposed to hate her, but why do I feel drawn to her only after her voice??

"Silly girl, is that the reason you are crying??

Shanshan stared at her not saying anything. Wu Mei coughed awkwardly, she is not the kind of person to console someone else.

"Perhaps you are destined to become family??

Shanshan laughed at how awkward Wu Mei looked when she answered the question.

"Meimei, you are so cute!! Well I'll depend on you then, we'll go see them tomorrow!! You are coming with me right??

"Do you want me to??

"Hmph!! Should you even ask me that??

Wu Mei smiled and flicked Shanshan's forehead. "Then why did you ask me that question?? I'm the one taking you there, and you're still asking if I'm going to with you.

Shanshan pouted, her reddish eyes making her look like a soft bunny. She leaned on Wu Mei and used her (Shanshan) hands to circle Wu Mei's waist.

"Meimei, our eyes are the same now. We both look like rabbits!!

Wu Mei chuckled. A rabbit?? Only you can call me that. At her thoughts, Wu Mei's eye flashed blue.

_Shanshan, I'll make sure to repay you in this life!!

Huo Yan's Manor

"Fourth Lord, that Miss Wu also lives in this estate.

Huo Yan raised his eyebrows, not expecting that.

"Oh?? Have you finished investigating the girl??

Mo Lian stretched out his hands to give him the reports from the people investigating Wu Mei.

"She is the owner of M Fashion Industry?? Also Racing Palace?? Who else knows about this??

"Fourth Lord, the Wu's have tried to investigate her before but they couldn't find the same information we did. The Qian Family has also investigated her, they were given the same report as us"

Huo Yan chuckled, his low deep voice giving off a sense of oppression.

"It seems this little girl know what she is doing. She purposely let out some information to the people she wants to work with. Have you found the reason why the Qian Family could also find out her status??

"The eldest miss of the Qian Family lives with her, it seems she let out the information to let them know that Eldest Qian Missy wouldn't suffer with her"

Huo Yan closed the documents and folded them neatly.

"Watch her for the next few days.

Huo Yan leaned on the chair lazily, the couch not containing his tall figure but him lying there made a hot seductive air fill the room.

Mo Lian blushed a little at the sight of his Master behaving as if he wants to seduce someone. This guy can make thousands of people grow crazy for him, females and even males. But unfortunately no has been able to catch his attention. This is the first time Huo Yan asked his people to investigate a female, not only a female but a underage one. Other people might think of it as normal, he is only investigating a person that wants to work with him, but this is Fourth Lord they are talking about!!

If Fourth Lord investigates someone, he would rather tell his surbodinates to take care of the person, he never gave their information any glance. But now, he personally read through a high school students information!!

What Mo Lian didn't know that that high school student is a great genius hacker in the history of hackers, Miss W!! Anybody would want to find out who she really is!! Up till now, the people who know her identity can be measured with half a palm. Right now, only Huo Yan and Shanshan know who she is.

"Fourth Lord, old Madam said she's coming here tonight along with Miss Ding.

Huo Yan frowned. "Tell Aunty Cui to prepare the guest rooms for them.

"Yes Fourth Lord!!

Mo Lian rolled his eyes at the actions of the Old Madam, it seems Miss Ding hasn't learnt her lesson yet. She better thank her lucky stars that this villa isn't the villa in the mountains, or else she wouldn't even be able to step foot inside.

"Aunty Cui when they leave , instruct someone to make sure everything they used were disposed off or burnt. Clean the house while you are at it, I don't want anything contaminating the house.

" Alright Young Master..... Rest well.

Huo Yan nodded. Out of everybody in his life, one of the people he cared and listened to is Aunty Cui. Like most male leads Huo Yan led a very strict and serious life when he lived in the Huo Mansion.

He learnt his duties from a young age. Growing up in the Huo Mansion, it's no wonder that Huo Yan grew without feeling much emotions. His parents got divorced when he was still in elementary School. His father got custody of him and left his mother, the only person that card for him to commit suicide due to loneliness and depression.

Ever since he found out the reason for his mother's death, Huo Yan left the Mansion and never returned. His siblings tried to kill him when he went abroad but as he was stubborn, he refused to die. He is next in line for the leadership of the Huo Family and that's the reason why many people have tried to assassinate him.
