Punishment

The five of them stood for a moment, staring at each other before following him. Will held his aching chest for a moment before taking his hands off.

A system message was already floating before him.

[ Host has broken some bones. Do you wish to heal the wound? ]

[ yes/no ]

Yes! Will said, grinding his teeth. He couldn't help but think back to the one-sided battle. He felt helpless once again during the battle.

[ Healing has commenced ]

[ 137/ 650 energy points ]

[ 77/120hp ]

He couldn't help but wonder about Isaiah. He could feel that Garou had hesitated to strike him when they stood before each other.

Without wasting time, he decided to use the [ Analyse ] skill on them.

[ Name: Issaiah Lambert ]

[ Realm: Advanced realm ( low stage ) ]

[Ability: ??? ]

[ Name: Garou Rasin ]

[ Realm: Advanced realm ( low stage ) ]

[ Ability: ??? ]

Will couldn't help but wonder about the question mark placed on their ability. "Maybe the skill level is too low to obtain that information," he thought.

But it was evident, just by the realm. The two of them were way above his level. Once one breakthrough into the advanced realm, his/ her body changes, with one's core becoming more powerful.

The difference between someone at the peak stage of the middle realm and someone in the advanced realm is vast, akin to the difference between someone in the initial level and the advanced realm.

They finally arrived at an office in the training building. Henry took a seat behind the desk while the rest stood before him, their gaze held down.

"What do you guys think you're doing?Fighting against each other at this early stage? I believe you all know joining the military means accepting one another as comrades despite where you all came from."

"He was the one that..."

"I don't need any explanation," he said, cutting Dren off. "You guys deserved to be punished and I have just the right punishment for you guys."

"A close friend of mine needs a group of workers in his forge," he said. "You're to assist and do whatever he asks you to do. You are to work for him for two weeks as punishment."

"What! I won't let you do that," Garou said with a frown. He turned his back, making his way to the door.

"Why don't we call your dad and see what he has to say, huh?" Henry retorted as he picked up a communication device.

Garou stopped in his steps and slowly walked back to them. "Alright, I'll do whatever you say," he said with a frown.

"That's awesome," Henry said with a delighted tone. "C'mon, now let me introduce you guys to who you'll be working with throughout the month."

"What! You said two weeks?" Dren uttered loudly.

"All thanks to your friend over there, well I changed my mind," he said walking off.

They all walked out of the building and entered the streets. They soon made their way towards a large shop at the side of the road.

"Your month will be spent here, assisting my friend," he said before entering through the opened door. They passed through the large door and were approached by a large man with a scar on his chin down to the side of his neck.

"Henry! What a surprise," the man said, grasping his outstretched hands. "And who are these people you brought?" he asked, staring at the group of five.

"I've heard word that your loyal companions have departed, leaving you in need of aid. Well, you can manage them for the month till you find suitable ones."

"Oh, that's great. C'mon, let me show you guys around." They followed him as he opened another door and walked through.

A blast of heat struck their face as they entered the room.

"It's... hot here," Dren muttered.

The guy shut the door, not affected by the heat. "This is the anvil," he said, walking deeper into the large room. "It's used for shapening and hammering heated metals."

"Here's the vice used to hold metals securely while it's being worked on....." He showed them around explaining each device and its uses.

"Man, this place is damn hot," Dren said loudly unable to contain the heat again. He tugged at his clothes, which were soaked already from his sweat.

"Now let me see you guys," he said, walking towards them. He held onto Will's shoulder, examining his physique.

"Such a hard grip," Will thought.

"Not much strength in those hands would be fit for collecting and searching for materials." Pete Said before moving to the next person.

He went on to Dren examining his physique and said the same thing. Looking at Belle, he didn't bother to get to her.

"The three of you'll be tasked with obtaining the materials I need." Looking at the other two, "while the two of you will help me here, you have the build for that kind of job. "

Will let out a relieved sigh. "Obtaining materials involves hunting beasts, right?" He said, trying to assure himself.

"Alright, Pete, I'll leave them to you," Henry said before leaving.

"Alright, boys, I've got a mission that's perfect just for you guys. I need you guys to hunt the silver salamander collect its essence, and secure the precious crystal for me."

"Boys?!" Belle exclaimed, her temple throbbing visibly with frustration.

"That's good," Will said with his heart thumping in excitement. "This isn't bad," he thought. After all, he would be able to hunt beast and gain exp points.

"The five of you will go since I don't have anything useful for both of them to do now. I think with both of them, you guys would be able to access the yellow zone."

"The yellow zone?!" Dren exclaimed. "But we aren't allowed there!"

"Don't worry, I'll pull in some strings, you don't have to worry about that. Meet me here before dawn, and I'll brief you on the mission," he said. "You can all go and continue with your training."

Walking out of the room, they felt the cold air gently brushing past their faces. Garou looked at Issaiah, his eyes passing a message - we have an unfinished business. With a sweep of his robe, he walked out of the shop, heading towards the direction of the training building.

"In this place, there are some people you ought not to offend," Issaiah said immediately Garou had left. "Going against them is like setting a large target on your back, I'll advise you to let this slide .and not to bother him again."

They both walked together towards the dorm room, and the excitement of training had left their body due to the event that took place in the training room.

Will couldn't help but clench his fist, his thoughts on what Issaiah had just say. He walked in silence till they got to the dorm building.

Belle was the first to break off as she headed towards the female dormitory before Dren headed to his room. Will didn't say much to Issaiah has they walked in silence.

"Aren't beast supposed to be wandering round in the Green Zone," Will thought. Since they had been in the base they hadn't come across any beast which was quite surprising.

He decided to explore more of the green zone in his free time. He lied down on his bed as he entered the room. System interface, he muttered.
