Rebirth of the Death Knight

The Fall of a Kingdom. From a magnificent and glorious kingdom, only to have it in ruin because of the demonic beasts' rampage. The final commander of the army, Lawrence Von Carrion, could only grit his teeth in bitterness. Had he lived properly in his youth, maybe the current scenarios would have changed. However, all he had left was a final breath and his sword decorated with skeleton skulls to assist him. Before succumbing to his death, Lawrence could only accept his death in grief. But was that the end? **Every 100ps = author can relax and no update** **Also a warning, this novel treads on gray/dark theme. Not your typical fantasy novel.** Lawrence: Can you believe this lazy author to be this shameless? He's stripping my screen time appearance!

Want Me To Do It Again?

Having mana slapped a certain fool to Narnia, Lawrence could relax now that he wouldn't be disturbed again.

And to ensure that a dumb cliche scenario doesn't occur, Lawrence also unleashed his mana, creating a somewhat barrier in the vicinity.

Being a commander for so long, it didn't even take him much longer to consolidate his mana core and manipulate it.

Unlike some dumb people who might take years to even get familiarized with their mana core after coming back from the future, Lawrence was able to accomplish this with ease.

The type of people who proclaimed to come back from the future yet still acted so immature and were weak as hell should be ashamed of themselves.

No– at that level, being ashamed wasn't even enough. They should have just ended their novel with a "the end and that everything was a dream."

"Damn, I lost too much valuable time." Lawrence clicked his tongue.

"I'll tell Tristina about this fool and teach him a more valuable lesson. Want to enter the Tatum Academy through the special test with that kind of skill? Fat dream!"

Call him petty or arrogant whatsoever.

But if Lawrence doesn't have a sense of recognition for this particular individual, then it goes to show that he wasn't that important in the future.

Of course, that might change if Lawrence's actions to deny his future could prompt him to have a miraculous breakthrough or chance.

He would gladly accept his grudge if he could become powerful in the future. Otherwise, he could just rot in the slum, forever traumatized.

As Lawrence stretched his body to relax his muscles, he asked, "Have you peeked enough yet?"

Silence!

There was utter silence, but Lawrence didn't even need to turn around to notice Agatha was peeking from the door. With his mana surrounding the entire vicinity, he had to be beyond blind to not notice her presence.

"Didn't I tell you to wait inside?" Lawrence smirked and turned around, staring right at Agatha. "Or did you want me to do it again?"

Panic quickly filled Agatha's eyes as she began breathing heavily, memories of the past haunted her.

Although it was just a tease and Lawrence had no intention of harming her again, seeing her reaction caused some sorrowness within him.

It was a clear and definite reaction that she would probably never ever forgive him for what he had done to her. And it made sense because even he wanted to slap his old past without hesitation.

If there were a magic spell that allowed him to time travel to his past, then he might be unable to control himself to outright stab his past self with a sword in a cold-blooded manner.

'Fuck my ugly past self. Fucking disgusting bastard deserves no redemption.' Lawrence cursed himself silently in his mind.

Alas, even cursing himself won't help the situation and he knew apologizing would only make the situation worse.

Why?

Would you accept an apology if someone you don't know walked in front of you and started punching you out for no reason?

If you do accept that apology, then let me congratulate you for being a masochist kinky person.

Taking a deep breath, Lawrence directly walked past the frightened Agatha and entered her home.

Sure enough, when he entered the home, he noticed a sickly person lying in the bed, her expression was fierce, almost as if she wanted to beat the crap out of him.

Looking at her current condition, Lawrence was relieved that his memories weren't foggy enough to not have forgotten about this. Back then, when he re-encountered Agatha during the demon beasts' rampage, she was extremely cold and wished to kill him on the spot.

During their re-encounter, Lawrence also heard Agatha blaming him for causing her mother's death to hasten up, and at that time, he was already numb at everything to give it much thought.

As Lawrence was immersed in his recollection, he heard Agatha shouting from behind.

"Don't you dare harm my mother!" Void of her previous fear, Agatha rushed ahead and stood in front of him, spreading her arms out as a sign of trying to protect her mother from him.

Seeing Agatha picking up her courage, Lawrence was pleased to realize that if he used her mother as a medium, then all her fear would be nullified.

Of course, he wasn't actually thinking of scheming against her, but merely trying to find a solution to make her regain her will to live.

And with the main motive of gaining some redemption for his horrible deeds done to her in the past.

If by now, you are still confused as to what kind of horrible deed despite all the hints, it's a violation of one's body. In other words, sexual harassment at the highest degree, and the fact that he was able to live scot-free proved that his identity managed to save his fucking ass from the law.

To put it simply, he was the typical garbage young master who committed all sorts of vile and heinous crimes but still got away with it.

And usually, these types of young masters are the side characters that get face-slapped repeatedly by a protagonist, except this time, he was both the protagonist and side character.

"Your mother is sick…" Lawrence mumbled softly.

"Do you think I could possibly harm her more than the current state she's experiencing?" He then asked, bringing her back to reality and making her think logically.

Since Agatha was hurt physically and emotionally by him, he needed to let her regain composure to think critically.

Meanwhile, Agatha started laughing hysterically, her eyes dripping down tears as she gnashed her teeth.

"Who are you to lecture me? Do you even have the right to after what you did to me, bastard?" She mustered her courage and cursed Lawrence.

"Indeed, I'm a bastard, but as for the right. I'm sure with my higher education, it's better than you, who is uneducated and poor." Lawrence responded swiftly, provoking her purposely.

Author: Look at this hideous Lawrence, who kept complaining about me. How is he even trying to redeem himself when he could utter such crap? Lawrence should slap himself in the face and bang his head to the wall instead~
