[Skill Name: Mastered Weapon Arts] Hmm…seems pretty good. [Gives the user the knowledge of the masters of every weapon.] As the card appeared into my hand I felt a small sense of accomplishment. Now I knew I could go places I never would before I died.

I got up from my bed and took out a spare practice dagger I had in my bag. As the card evaporated in my hand I could feel the knowledge rushing to my head, it was quite overwhelming, made me a bit dizzy. I practiced using my dagger and I immediately felt the change, even though I felt a bit dizzy because of the rush of knowledge I could definitely acknowledge it at one point.

I started swinging a bit faster and kept swinging and swinging constantly improving my footwork and strikes as I adjusted to the knowledge of a master. It was still odd, I didn't feel exhaustion and I kept on swinging, mind seemed to be drifting away as I kept on swinging, each swing more precise and accurate I kept on swinging, and swinging. At this point I was keeping track of time, I stopped for a second and looked at my phone.

I had been using my dagger for two hours…record time I guess. I sighed and tossed my wooden dagger back into my bag. I should probably get in better physical shape. [New Mission: Vessel Training] A mission? I didn't know those were a thing…what's "Vessel Training"? [Answer: Vessel Training is an act of reinforcing the body and mind in order to expand mana capabilities]

Ok…so how much do I need to do? [Answer: 100 push ups, 100 sit ups, 100 squats, 10km run. Daily.] Im sorry, DAILY?! And for how long until I complete it…? [It is a daily mission. Once completed it refreshes the next day. Rewards are calculated based on speed and effort] ah I see…so speed and effort gets the greater reward?

Before I did anything I looked myself in the mirror, yeah I was e?the same as always. Short black hair and blue eyes, of course I look much younger, and healthier. It is 8 years in the past after all. I opened my phone and had realized my phone was being blown up by messages from Angelica and Blake. I replied to them with some basic messages before opening up my laptop and looking through some stuff on recent events.

Next week was apparently the practice event for the awakened…I wasn't able to participate in my past life but I will be now. Im pretty sure Rex got first place…I'll definitely beat his ass this time. Anyways…I'll get done with that daily quest since apparently it gives rewards daily and refreshes daily.  I'm not really sure if I can actually do those things though…well I'll give it a shot.

I did one push-up. Then 10 push-ups. Okay this isn't that hard. 20, 30, 40,50…60,….70…ugh I can't do this anymore…I hit my face straight into the floor and took a break. I don't exactly need to do them in a row. But a 10km run seriously? I sighed and grabbed one of the academies free tracksuits they gave you out of my closet. A black tracksuit with that gold patch, like every other uniform. I put on the tracksuit and walked out of my dorm room. Making my way towards the courtyard.

Keep in mind it was pretty late now so nobody seemed to be awake. As I made my way to the courtyard I took in my surroundings. The courtyard was a large area covered in a magical dome that blocked out weather effects. It was pretty cool how everyone's power was unique, but some people had unfair advantages over others. People who got powers that were either utterly useless or only for support. Like Angelica. Her class is Saint. I don't know her personal attribute though…

Blake's class is Spear-master, once again I do not know his personal attribute. Though Blake and Angelica became famous hunters in the future, right now the best Blake could get is second place. And Angelica doesn't even have enough attack magic to get points. I'll need to protect them this time. [new quest generated: {Unyielding Will}] [Description: Defeat Rex and claim first place at any event] [Rewards: Random Mythical Card] I'm sorry what?

If I get first place at the event I can get a random mythical card?! That's insanely good…well might as well start running, I clenched my fist and smiled to myself and went to the track and ran laps. I realized my knowledge from the combat mastery skill wasn't just limited to combat. Running techniques, sleeping techniques, pretty much all quality of life things soldiers have learned.

I was able to discern my energy from certain parts of my body to my legs to move faster and lose less energy. As I ran more and more my energy depleted while I checked the quest conditions now. [Daily Training: 70/100 push-ups, 0/100 sit ups, 0/100 squats, 15/10km run] Oh sh*t I had already gone over 10km? I wasn't keeping track of time.

As I made my way to the exit of the track I felt a large breeze coming from only behind me. I turned around and saw a black void shaped like a door. Vibrating with a purple bluish glow, the door floated a bit off of the ground a large amount of odd feeling wind coming out of it. [Quest Generated: Clear the Aether gate] Aether gate? Wait like Aether phenomenon gate?

Well this has a lot of downsides, but also a lot of upsides, the system wouldn't give me a reward breakdown but I assume that the rewards from the gate will be enough. Well now would be a good time to do a lucky draw so, system let's go! [Skill: {Lucky Draw} Activated] [Rolling…] [Success] [Item Obtained: Sign of the serpent bearer] [Details: The forgotten ◼️◼️◼️◼️◼️◼️◼️◼️◼️, ◼️◼️◼️◼️◼️◼️◼️◼️ imbued their power into this bracelet, contains dark energy, greatly increases all capabilities when at critical condition] 

Hmm…sign of the serpent bearer? Sounds familiar…meh whatever, I took the bracelet, it was a black bracelet engraved with lots of snakes and what seemed to be an Ouroboros. I'm not completely sure but I think this gives me the ability to use a dark attribute…though I'm not sure. But it had an ominous black aura with some green glow to it. Right, the Aether gate. I laughed to myself as I entered the Aether gate. I'll be honest. I was kinda scared, I didn't know what awaited me on the other side, I was excited as well. 

As I entered that dark abyss I smiled to myself. "I'll make it out of here." I'll make sure that this time I'll protect everyone.
