While Ruo Lan and Ming xue are having their heart to heart talk. XuWei was in the kitchen helping Xiao Bai in preparing dinner.

Xiao bai was also surprised to see that XuWei is very knowledgeable in the kitchen. Well, XuWei has experienced being in the front lines, he eventually learned a lot more things because of it.

About an hour later, the dishes are done.

It was a simple but hearty meal. Since Xiao Bai got some help from XuWei he got the leisure to make some more for yifan and uncle nan. The big problem now, is how to call those two. He disn't want to disturb them by knocking in front of the door all of a sudden.

Xuwei, "Just call them out from here."

Although it was a half-assed suggestion, xiao bai still felt ot was less awkward like that so he really did.

XuWei also stared at him in disbelief and laughed. "Didn't knew you would really do it."

Xiao Bai rolled his eyes, "Yeah right."

He looked for uncle Nan to invite them to eat with them but they are not around so he turned to XuWei and asked. It turns out that earlier Xiao Bai was too focus on his task that Uncle Nan didn't want to disturb him and went to tell XuWei that he and Yifan are going to the marketplace instead.

Xiao bai nodded, "Then help me put the dishes on the table, and separate some for Uncle Nan and yifan."

Xuwei immediately went and executed his mission.

While they are busying, Ming xue and Ruo lan came. Ruo lan was supporting Ming xue on the way to the table so Xiao Bai knew that they made up. They have an extraordinary bond, Xiao Bai knew it since the day he saw them fought.

It was not hatred or any negative emotions, it was more deeper than that.

Xiao bai didn't ask anything and invited them to take a sit. Xuwei and Xiao Bai also settled down.

"Today's dinner are lotus pork rib soup, egg rolls, sweet and sour chicken, and Buddha's delight." Xiao bai mentioned the dishes.

Ruo lan as a foodie was amazed, eyeing all the homemade dish in front of him, "Master Wang, you—made this all?"

Xiao bai, "yes but I also got a little help from WeiXu." Ruo Lan nodded.

"Well then, let's eat." Xiao Bai said.

While eating Ming xue was still quiet. It seems like something bothers him, and he didn't know how to say it.

Xiao bai, "Ming xue is something wrong?"

"Young master. You—don't you want to ask me anything" Ming asked, more worried that his young master isn't asking about anything.

Xiao bai thought for a second, "What questions?"

"About my past?" Ming xue replied uncomfortably.

"Do I need to know?" Xiao Bai asked not with a sarcastic tone but more of a gentle and anderstanding.

Ming xue hesitated for a second. It was true that it's better if his young master won't know aboug his matters, and was more appropriate to say that it doean't matter if Xiao Bai knew or not. However, Xiao Bai clearly is also an important person to him and he don't want to hide something.

"I—.. I'm ready to tell everything as long as you say it."

Xiao bai heartily laughed, "Ming xue, I don't care what your past is. What matters to now is the Ming xue who I met 2 months ago. Telling me or not is your choice, either way, I'll still be your young master and you'll still be my guardian, right?"

And he smiled gently at Ming xue. Yes ,how could ming xue doubt his young master? He didn't want to spoil the mood by telling traffic back stories so he decided to tell the tale next time.

After dinner, XuWei and Ruo Lan, both their hearts and stomach were satisfied. At last, Xiao Bai turned to Ming xue and asked, "Are you going to school tomorrow?"

Ming xue nodded.

"Then you should sleep early tonight." Xiao Bai then helped Ming xue to go back to his room even though Ming xue insisted that he was already fine.

Seeing that Ming xue has already settled in his room, he went back to the kitchen to grab a water. When coincidentally Uncle Nan and Yifan arrived. The two are holding a lot of stuff, it was really random. From foods, to clothes, to tools used for house chores.

Xiao Bai helped them to arrange the things and instructed them about the dinner he left for them. Yifan and Uncle Nan thanked him, and he passed towards his room.

While laying down on his room, he casually turned to the table where the lotus XuWei gave was. Although it was a little dark, the moonlight was passing through the window and directly to the flower. Making an illusion that it was glowing, it was quite magical.

He kept staring at it and like he was hypnotized he fell asleep.

"Good morning everyone." Yang Wenshu greeted.

"Good morning Teacher Yang." The students greeted back.

"I have an announcement to make. I will be going to the Heavenly Academies Alliances' Headquarters to talk about the upcoming spring festival. It was actually all settled their was suddenly a mishap at the venue so head teachers from different academies will attend the meeting and settle it. So for the mean time, another professor will be teaching you in my place for the time being." Yang Wenshu announced.

Xuwei raised his hand, "Teacher Yang, then is president Zhou back at the academy?"

Yang wenshu, "Yes. He was the one who relayed the message. The headmaster thought it was just a minor problem so he sent student Zhou but it was more complicated so he came back to tell me to go instead."

"Anyway, I'll introduce to you, the sub teacher. Please come inside." Yang wenshu continued.

After that a middle-aged man probably in his 40s came in. Anyone who has eyes could see that he was tempered in many battles and his steps are very steady that even if there's a magnitude 6 earthquake he could still stand and walk perfectly.

Xiao bai stared at the new teacher's face and felt that he looked very familiar. Xiao Bai eye's suddenly widened and he ubruptly stood up, "You!"

Everyone was surprised by his sudden action so they all looked at him. He couldn't forget that face, it's that old man! Although he looked a lot more messier in the last life, they have an undeniable resemblance.

XuWei was also strangly looking at the new professor, even Ruo Lan. Why is the emperor of Xin country here? What if assassins come here if they knew that he is here? Does Xiao Bao knew Emperor Xin?

While the introductions are proceeding XuWei was throwing questioning looks at his father, while ShiHui just smirked at him in return.

Xiao Bai was also observing him. Does he know me? Maybe the one I met last time was his reincarnation? Anyway, I need to think of a chance to talk to him.

Xīn ShìHuì- the 'xin' here is not the same at the surname Xin that XuWei have. The character (xīn) meant dawn while the Xuwei's surname (xìn) here means core. In short they are just homophones. The (shì) means strength and (Huì) means wisdom.

By the way, this is Xuwei's Father' real name, except for the surname. And am I the only one who thinks that their names sounds a like? You know, XuWei, ShiHui {Btw, it's pronounced as Shi-hwey}.

Seeing Xiao Bai in the kitchen made me felt like I was looking at my future wife busying around the kitchen to prepare our dinner.

Then I'll help him and whole he was distracted I'll sneak my hands on his waist and do a back hug.

I'll smell his neck, while he also lean his head on the other side to give me more access.

Xiao bai, "WeiXu! WeiXu!"

"Ahh?"

Xiao bai, "You're spacing out."
