15 Night terror last part

Some of the humans still tried to escape, but Smith swiftly killed them. No one was leaving this place alive.

After killing everyone he turned towards the big tent. He went inside and he saw 3 people sitting on a bed.

'wow these humans are actually stupid'

Smith quickly killed them, they didn't even resist.

He had received one level from killing all these humans and animals. And as the system previously stated he didn't gain any stat points.

Smith went outside again. 'what the hell can I do now?'

Smith pondered for a few seconds. He decided to just make a sleeping place and think about a plan tomorrow.

Marquess Daimon sat in his carriage with Earl Jurgen, countess Emilia and countess Livia.

"so what gifts did you bring for the duke's birthday Daimon?" asked Earl Jurgen

"I got him an antique fire sword, as you know he likes collecting weapons." Daimon answered.

"oh what an amazing gift." countess Emilia said.

"it's only normal it is for the Duke, so it best be something unique." Daimon said.

It then became silent in the carriage. Countess Emilia then started to talk with Livia about magic, both Daimon and Jurgen just listened as they were both knights.

Not much later a hurried knock could be heard on the Marquess carriage.

Daimon opened the door. "what is it Dimitri."

"sir, there has been an attack on viscount Allen."

Daimon's eyes narrowed. "what do you mean by attacked?"

"you have to see it for yourself Marquess it's to gruesome to explain in words."

"okay, you guys can come with me if you want to" Daimon said to the others in the carriage.

Both the countesses declined. Only Earl Jurgen wanted to accompany him.

Daimon and Jurgen both got on their rider beasts. Jurgens rider looked like a horse but it had 6 legs and 4 pair of eyes.

Damon's rider looked like a small salamander, but it quickly transformed into the same beast Jurgen was riding.

"no matter how many times I see it, I can't wrap my head around it." Jurgen said

"it's not that special, there are a lot of beast who can transform, but let's first go check the situation out."

Jurgen and Daimon moved out and followed the road for 5 minutes.

There they already saw the camp of the viscount.

First they met the bodies of 2 guards.

" they were quickly killed, whatever killed them must be fast. " Daimon said.

Jurgen just nodded.

They then past the animals, who were half eaten, and when they passed the white tent, they saw a whole bloodbath.

There were bodies of humans lying everywhere. Some had their arms, legs, heads torn off.

Guts, blood and smelling flesh filled the whole area. "fucking hell" Jurgen gasped.

'what the hell did this?'

'activate area scan' Daimon thought.

A whole kilometer in a circle raduis got scanned.

The Marquess waited for a few seconds.

Daimon immediately turned his head towards the left. He looked trough the trees and focused on what looked like a rock.

But it had eyes. Daimon's eyes widened. 'what-'

Before he could even make a move the beast dashed away. It was fast.

Daimon jumped of his rider. And sprinted after it. He was slowly catching up.

The Earl just looked at what was happening. "damn, I'll have to report this back."

The Earl immediately turned around and ran full speed with his beast back towards there escort.

Daimon looked at the beast that was running a hundred meters in front of him. 'what the hell is that?, a drake variant?'

He started to speed up when he suddenly saw red smoke release from the beast.

[-5% towards every stat]

Daimon's eyes wident again, first he didn't notice some beast only hiding 50 meters away from him and now it even gave him a debuff.

' I need to catch this beast, what a great asset wouldn't it be!'

Smith was surprised when the human on a weird horse looked at him. He felt dangerous aura radiating out of the human. He was definitely stronger than the other humans who had chased him previously.

' fuck ' Smith immediately dashed away towards the desert. He also quickly released his killing intent as he felt the human chasing him.

'he's fast'

Smith pushed his whole body to the limit. 'I need to reach that bitch ants territory.'

After 20 minutes of running and the human getting closer and closer Smith finally saw sand.

'let's see where he is heading, maybe there are more of his kind.'

'huh.' Daimon's eyes narrow into slits. 'no you don't bastard.'

Diamond moved some of his mana towards his lower body and immediately stood next to the beast. He wanted to put it to sleep so he was trying to kick the beast in the head.

Suprisingly the beast jumped towards him at the same time that he was trying to kick it.

Daimon got hit in the chest and rolled a few times. He quickly jumped up but the beast was gone.

'what the fuck'

The whole ground around Daimon started to crack apart and it shuddered at a high frequency. It was like a minor earthquake.

Smith felt his whole tunnel starting to shake and caving in. He quickly dug towards the sand were it wouldn't be as troublesome.

Smith only dug straight forward now he wanted to reach the ant queens nest.

He also slowly felt a mental strain returning.

'damn it escaped, I really want it as a pet'.

Daimon turned around and ran back towards his rider. He would report the incident to the Duke, but he didn't know if he wanted to talk about the beast.
