Yun-hee's surprise

Yun-hee looked at the woman in front of her with a slightly stunned expression before handing her the phone and walking back. She had just talked with her brother, and it felt like she had spoken to a completely different person. His words had thrown her off balance, and now she was forced to leave her job.

She made her way into the boss's room, trying to mask her disgust at the foul smells permeating the space. She bowed and thanked him for giving her the job last month before asking for permission to leave for good.

The boss looked at her with a steely gaze and said, "You come here suddenly, want a job, and now you want to leave whenever you feel like it? You know that's not how things work in the underworld, right?" He took a deep puff of his cigarette, the tattoos on his arms and his bald head adding to his intimidating presence.
