CHAPTER 5 The Dream of Man

"Well, I have to start somewhere" Shui fang stated, before closing his eyes to process everything. It was still very unreal to him. One day just browsing manga on his phone, then in a few seconds later being brought into another world by a magical entity called the system.

He was very excited, although it didn't look like that from the outside seeing his rather calm and collective expression, some would argue that the main expression he should have shown was fear and anxiety. Thrown into the wild, into the middle of nowhere in a dog-eat-dog world for the most part, where only the strong is respected while the weak and untalented are mocked. Of course, he would be lying if he wasn't a little nervous but not as much as others would be in his situation, why so, you may ask.

He was very much prepared for a situation like this one, after spending years in what is known as the cadet force and later a short while in the military, he had at least learnt the basis of survival and had seen a couple of dead bodies, although he wasn't involved in any of the fighting force.

He was a junior mechanic who would maintain some of the heavy military machinery in his country, it wasn't a high paying job, like those he would have gotten if he went to university or college, but he didn't like school at all, it was frankly a waste of time in his opinion as he found that a majority of teachers who taught him couldn't teach, so after he graduate high school, he went into the military before after dropping out to start a business to one day reach a dream, he had

"Douluo Dalu, from what I remember the spirit awakening is done at the age of 6 supervised by a member of the spirit hall in the case of villages and towns" Shui feng pandered with a serious expression as he tried to remember, the most important parts to plot out a plan for the upcoming years. From the outside he would have looked extremely cute to all the elder sisters out there.

"The Spirit hall member would use some of their energy to guide the awakener energy to awaken their spirit or martial soul which was the first step, one would either awaken a beast or tool but in my case a body spirit as well, however farming tools were the most common and a trash spirit in the awakening of many. Secondly him/her would allow the awakener to test their spirit essence level ranging from 1-10, the highest called innate full spirit power but many fail to even reach level one" Shui fang recalled as much as he could, it was a wonder how he could get a brain of a 6 year old to recall such information, in fact he had all his memories that he could easily remember compared to his past life own.

There was a few info he skipped as he didn't need to worry, one; he was guaranteed innate full spirit power, along with twin spirits. Twin spirits were something unbelievable and wrote in legends, the amount who possess it could be counted on one hand at least in douluo dalu 1 and they were also guaranteed innate full spirit power which made his trait unnecessary. A twin spirit practitioner was only limited by themselves ultimately while others were limited by the world.

"Sigh!, what a pain" Shui fang sighed, he didn't wanted to get involved with the spirit hall, this early nor did he want to use his system points to awaken but he didn't have a choice. Unlike tang san who knew how to control his internal energy and hid his second spirit at his awakening, he didn't have any way of doing such a thing as of yet.

'Open Shop' Shui fang said in his mind

Why was he going into the shop? Shui fang wanted to get an idea of the pricing of a few items, he needed in the future

"Thank the heavens! these are relatively cheap, I though it would take a month worth of mining to get these" He sighed in relief at the low cost, not spending any longer he closed the shop, as he wasn't planning to awaken so early. He wanted to test his body and get accustomed to it as well as this environment of his and also buy a live map which costed roughly a week worth of mining 200-ETH which was 20-SP in total.

Shui fang couldn't help but grin at his future prospects, unlike a few fanfics he read before where the main character didn't really have a goal, his goal was extremely manly, to have a harem. The dream of many men, as well as his, he didn't want an extremely large one with thousands of women like some fanfic or rulers in novels or in the past. It was just a few who he liked and felt it was worth it to spend his life with.

To achieve such a dream, he needed strength to protect those who he would care about and the wealth to support himself and his lovers, that was one of his drives to get stronger and with this one of his sights were firstly set on a mother and daughter duo that rule over the spirit hall.
