CHAPTER - 1

A person woke up from his deep slumber. When he opened his eyes, he saw a huge white hall supported by countless number of gargantuan pillars. He was amazed by this mega super structure.

After he got an eyeful of the structure, he looked at himself and realized that he was at the very front of the hall, right before a throne like structure. He also looked at his body, which was a shape of human being but covered in white light. He don't have any memories as how he got here or what he was at least.

….: "Alen!"

When alen heard those words, he instinctively turned towards the source of voice. All though he don't know it was his name but he felt he was being called. When he turned towards the previous empty throne, he saw a great figure covered in mesmerizing light sat upon the throne. From his figure alone, alen was feeling terrifying pressure as to submit and bow down to that being.

Alen: "….." He just looked at him with terrifying expression and he couldn't spoke out anything.

Seeing the pitiful state of alen, that being waved his hands and immediately alen was free of burden and breathed a sigh of relief.

Alen: 'Gulp' … "Umm… M-may I know, who am I and what am doing here sir?" Even though he was free from earlier pressure, the fear from earlier situation was still on his face.

That being signed seeing that alen has no memory of himself, then he spoke again;

….: "It seems that your memories are still locked. You will know the answers for your questions as you already have them with you." That being snapped his fingers while looking at alen.

Immediately alen felt that his horizon was expanded and like his brain was opened up more from inside out. He felt dizziness and migraine. He shouted subconsciously to relieve from pain, but it continued for a little while and settled down.

Alen: "A-alen… It's my name." He reminded his whole life through those memories.

He was born and brought up in a healthy family. He was a top student in school and a good kid at home. He has one elder brother and one elder sister. He was very much spoiled by everyone in the family. His family was well settled. He loved novels, manga and anime very much. His interest in them never faded. His obsession with them increased to a very fatal stage and it led to an accident at a certain point in his life.

When he was at the age of 19, he was already at the stage where he was drowning with total anime stuff. Whenever he opens his mouth, he always talks about chan-san, kun-man, xu-lu, wu-lu and every crazy stuff. He even got a gang, alike him and they even call themselves as Immortal Daoists. He spend all his time either at PC cafes or on his laptop. He even greeted his parents and siblings in those anime stuff. Once he got scolded for it and also for his addictions, then he even stopped talking to them also. His health also deteriorated so much due to his habits.

One day, alen came home running like a mad dog as it was the day of release of his favourite anime show. He came to dining table and quickly gulped down the food and water.

Alen's Mother: "ALEN! How many times should I say don't gulp without chewing?"

Alen: "I'm not a kid. I know what am doing. Stop nagging me already." He became angry, kicked the chair aside and went towards the stairs.

When alen was quickly moving upstairs, he suddenly stopped moving there for a second and fallen straight in the dining room. When everyone saw his face, they were shocked as the blood was coming from his nose and mouth. He was immediately carried to hospital, but he lost so much blood before he came to hospital.

He was carried to Emergency Unit and started blood supply to him. After 2 hours of operation, they opened the doors of emergency unit. The doctor's face was grim, he came to alen's parents and said "He is alive but he is very weak. If the same situation repeats anymore, we cannot save him." After that, they got detail of his health condition; he was effected due to continuous high blood pressure and weakening of his heart due to bad food habits.

They were permitted to enter after few hours of stabilization of his condition. He was looking like he was on the verge of death.

Alen's Mother and Father: "Alen! How's your condition? I-I'm sorry alen! I will not scold you anymore." His mother was already crying while speaking those last words.

Alen looked at his parents. His father was hiding his tears, his mother was already crying and his siblings were also crying.

Alen was hit by wave of emotions when he saw tears falling from his mother's eye. 'Why I became like this? Am I human anymore? Why I became this cruel to my own family?' He reminded his own behavior over past years.

As his emotions overwhelmed, he recognized his heart was feeling pain all over again. He know if he continues, he will suffer very much or he may die even but his emotions were not calming down. They were erupting like volcano.

'Am I worthy of this life they gave, even after making them suffer so much?'

Alen's Mother: "Alen! I don't scold you anymore. Please forgive your mother!"

Alen's heart broken down with those words of his mother. He said his last words "No mom. Please forgive me instead. I'm sorry father, brother and sister. I'M SO SORRY… PLEASE FORGIVE ME FOR ONE LAST TIME… AHHHHHH!"

It was his last cry of regret.

Regret, because he was failure as a son and brother. Regret, because he made them suffer till the end. Regret, because he cannot redeem himself anymore.

At the end, Alen understood he was died due to his own mistakes and made his family suffer by his actions. Even though he was unable to cry in his current body state, he was regretting his past actions immensely, but Regret has no medicine.

He turned towards the God-like entity, who was looking at him with the same emotionless face. Even though he cannot see his face properly, he can understand his state of emotion by his aura around him.

Entity: "I think you found answers to your questions." He said in a plain voice.

Alen: "…. Y-yes." He doesn't know what his situation was. He knew he was dead and the entity in front of him might be some God-like existence. So, he wants to tread with caution and carefulness.

Entity: "Do not fear. I do not punish you for your misdeeds. You have regretted about your actions at the end of your life and still now even. So, I forgive your misdeeds in this lifetime and give you chance again in another world."

Alen might have celebrated if he was in his usual condition but he was changed after his dead.

Alen: "I do not want another life. Please extinguish this life of mine, sir." He does not want to live anymore. His parents might be still suffering due to his death. He was already a failure and why would he be like that again.

Entity: "It is not possible. You have made mistakes in your previous life. So, you have to correct those in the next life..."

That Entity has convinced Alen by speaking through with his word game.

Alen: "So, which world am incarnating in and about the three wishes you have mentioned earlier?"

Entity: "The world you will incarnate will absolutely depends upon your luck and fate. About the three wishes ah! The three wishes can be any depending upon the world you incarnate but those cannot be too powerful as not to disturb the whole eco-system of the world."

Alen: "Oh! I understand. Then how to choose the world?" Alen already asked him about the possibility of him incarnating on earth but the Entity said he cannot incarnate on earth. Alen was sad but he cannot do anything about that.

Entity: "Spin the wheel located to your right side. The indicator will show which world you are selected for."

Alen nodded his head to that Entity words and checked the wheel to his right side. There were many worlds listed on that wheel, but they were blurred and not revealing any information. Alen pushed the spin button on it and waited for result.

The wheel glowed brightly after it stopped spinning and it revealed four words.

"AGAINST THE GODS UNIVERSE"

Alen was literally shocked to the core. He never expected something out of manga in a real life. He thoughts ran like wild goose on a chase about the three wishes he can choose.

Entity: "Alen! It's time for your three wishes."

Alen thought for some time and decided to speak up his three wishes.

Alen: "First – Please alter the memories of my family and who ever knows about me and anything related to me. So that my family can live peacefully without suffering anymore."

The Entity agreed upon it as it was with agreeable and good of a choice.

Alen: "Second – I want fastest cultivating profound veins with concealment of my cultivation level from anyone."

Entity: "It is possible to give you high end profound veins, but it is too powerful. So, I will give you high end profound veins, but your cultivation will stagnate and it will only progress after certain amount of time. The time will be around one month before divine realm but after stepping in divine realm that stagnation period will increase many times. And your second wish is combination of two wishes but I'm throwing a freebie this time around."

Alen thanked him immediately as he was grateful towards that entity.

Alen: "Third – I want martial art techniques of every type; like movement technique, sword technique and so on. But those should be unique."

Entity: "Your third wish is also too powerful. So, I will give you every type of martial art technique, but they will grow alongside your cultivation level. The prowess of those techniques will be revealed by increasing your cultivation level. You will have advantage against same level cultivators, but they are not too over powered in the initial stages."

Alen was happy that his three wishes were agreed with minor adjustments. He thanked the entity once again.

Alen: "Sir, I have one request before I reincarnate."

Entity: "What is it?" The Entity does not reject him immediately but wanted to know his thoughts.

Alen: "I want to see my family for very last time." Yes, he knew it would be his last chance to see his family so requested it.

Entity thought for some time and responded to him.

Entity: "Only for few minutes. You can only see them, but they cannot see you. So, don't have high expectations."

Alen agreed to it and saw his family through mirror like object.

'It seems that entity has already altered their memories.' They were at home altogether in the living room, chatting and laughing with each other.

Alen felt relieved seeing that and felt sad at the same time as he cannot be part of that happy family ever again.

'Huh! Regret has no medicine. At least I should live this life without any regrets.'

Entity: "You will reincarnate in the floating cloud city of the blue polar star of the ATG Universe. You will have body of male around 16-17 years. You will have no family in this world as a punishment. Build your own family and know the value of them. So, be prepared."

Alen: "Thank you sir for everything and I'm very grateful for your advice." He was still feared by that entity and that is why he was so respectful.

Entity just nodded his head and Alen vanished from that place.

When he opened his eyes, he was already in the 'AGAINST THE GODS UNIVERSE'.
