17 Chapter 17; Don't call me.....

She couldn't understand what was happening to her, she had just gotten out of prison, but suddenly, she was feeling terrible health-wise. Wasn't she okay the other day?

Huo Shen who was standing at the bathroom door could hear her regurgitating, he turned around and eyed the bowl of soup frowning. It didn't have any fishy smell, or could it be that it was different from the prison food?

"Should I get rid of the soup?" He loudly thought worriedly while his entire face scrunched up. His hands were crossed around his chest.

" Can I come in?" He knocked at the door without opening it, and after a few tries, he didn't hear any response, he hurriedly opened the door and rushed in to see her lying on the floor looking unconscious.

He picked her up and dashed over to the bed before calling a doctor over, he didn't understand what was happening to her.

He got a wet towel and began wiping her face waiting for the doctor who stayed nearby to come over.

Her face was glistening with sweat all over even though the room was under room temperature.

"Miss, you better know your exact position here, don't mess around with the Missus of the house, don't try framing her, or you will end up miserable..." Huo Qi tossed her onto the bed before walking away, who was she to frame Wei Wei? She might have suggested getting engaged to their Master, but deep down, he could see how Su Wei Wei loathed men and there was no need to frame anyone.

She didn't have any feelings towards Huo Shen and she had suggested that probably in plans to use his powers.

Zhan Shan's entire face paled. What did he mean by that? And exactly what was her position in Huo Shen's heart? What message did he want to convey with that?

"Huo Qi..." She softly called him but Huo Qi strode away out of the bedroom leaving Zhan Shan enraged. Not only was she trying to frame their benefactor but this was the same person who was going to treat their master...

She tightly clenched her knuckles, leading to her palms having a slight bleed.

"Damn you woman! Sooner or later I will kick you out!" She angrily vowed, but first, she would have to do some investigations and find out which family she comes from.

"Wei Wei... What happened to you?" He queried worriedly, her face was turning pale and he didn't know what could have happened while she was out there.

He didn't know where she had been for all those days! What happened to her? Who did she meet? Where did she sleep? He had already checked and she hadn't gone over to the Su family and they didn't know that she was out of prison.

Su Wei Wei could hear him and wanted to open her mouth to talk but she was unable to, she felt like she was paralyzed all over.

"Wei Wei...." He called her again nudging her shoulders but those closed eyes were no longer opening up no matter how much he nudged her, she wasn't responding.

He was nervous and sweating, for the very first time he was panicking about a woman, yes he did like Mo Zi Jia as a woman but as a sister, and he was never intensively worried about her like he is now.

"I paid a huge price to bring that woman of yours from hell, go away and stop disturbing me...." Su Wei Wei suddenly sat up on the bed trying to cultivate, she was suddenly feeling some strong energy surrounding the room, she needed to enhance her energy pool and try to heal...

If it weren't for that girl, this wouldn't have happened and Huo Shen was glad that the poison was gone, but at what cost? She just had to deliver her end of the bargain.

"Su Wei Wei...." He took a step back and called her almost going down to his knees, he would do anything to appreciate this effort. If only she could speak up and explain.

"Don't call me, men would always be my misfortune, my downfall, human hearts are very fickle, even those you think are innocent and blood-related could be the real danger hiding behind those relationships... find me some emerald green jades, a lot of them, hurry up...." She needed to test if her magical energy could be replenished by magical energy coming from the jades, it would enhance her eyes and energy pool, but why was God giving her such a test?

She wasn't that greedy for power, she only wanted revenge, she snapped her eyes open they were dark emerald green, and they were fierce and scary. They were glowing.
