15 Chapter 15; Tell them, I'm busy...

"She woke up today in the afternoon and even ate, we notified the family and they were happy that she was getting better, they want to see you and also thank you for finding the miracle doctor for their daughter...." Huo Qi strode over with a cup of coffee he had just prepared according to his master's taste.

He placed it on the coffee table before settling down on the other couch beside him.

"Tell them I'm busy... I won't be receiving guests or anyone for the time being..." He picked up the cup of coffee and took a sip before placing it back.

"Huo Shen?" A charming soft voice echoed from the door, they all lifted their heads and gazed at the door, they were surprised to see her after ten good years.

"Zhan Shan...." Huo Qi and Huo Shen jerked up at the same time as Zhan Shan strode over into the living room.

"Yes, it's me... I'm back..." She rushed over and wanted to lunge into his arms but Huo Qi hugged her first barring her from getting any closer to him.

"I'm glad you are finally back, how was your volunteering time there?" Huo Shen felt relief but was still disappointed that it wasn't Su Wei Wei.

But at that moment, Su Wei Wei strode in gazing at the people who seemed to be having a reunion.

"What a beautiful reunion..." She sarcastically mumbled as she strode over into the living room, at one time she had dropped by this mansion, and she knew it as the back of her hand.

She strode over to the kitchen and prepared some milkshakes, her eyes were purple and her skin was a bit pale, even her lips had a few cracks from dryness.

Huo Shen strode over into the kitchen and held her left arm, "where have you been?" He studied her from the head to the bottom, he could tell something must have happened, she looked a bit odd and paler.

"Leave me alone..." She yanked his hand away getting her milkshake, but Huo Shen was infuriated, he picked her up and strode upstairs to his master bedroom and dumped her on the bed roughly.

"This is my house, it's been two days, don't you think you need to give me an explanation of where you have been? Did you forget that you are under my foster care?" He uncuffed his shirt cufflinks and removed the suit coat, if she was okay, she would have reiterated but she seemed weak and didn't want to have a fight with him.

"Huo Shen, I don't care about what you do, just stay out of my business...." She coldly harrumphed rubbing her head, she was experiencing a mild headache.

"Stay there... I will get you some food..." He roughly tossed the coat onto the bed and turned away to go down to the kitchen.

"Huo Qi, who is she?" Zhan Shan was stunned for a minute, why did it feel like Huo Shen was angry about something?

"She? She is his fiance..." Huo Qi hummed gazing at the stairs as Huo Shen descended, his forehead full of wrinkles.

"Huo Shen...." She sweetly called him and Huo Shen turned around to eye her.

" Huo Qi, escort her back home, I will see you tomorrow and we can talk... Glad to see you are back..." He waved his hand strolling over into the kitchen.

"Huo Shen wait...." She stretched her hand out in plan of walking over to him but was stopped midway by Huo Qi who knew his master's problem. He couldn't allow anyone to get any closer to him.

"Okay, you can stay here for the night until tomorrow morning, for safety purposes and nothing else..." He sighed walking over to the kitchen, there was food the maids had already cooked, and he placed it inside the microwave to warm it.

Zhan Shan felt relieved and settled down on the couch with Huo Qi accompanying her, he didn't know why his master accepted her to stick around knowing he hated women.

"Huo Qi, which family is Huo Shen's fiancee from? Is it the Mo family? Or the Su family?" She knew that these were the only top family that at least matched the Huo family even though they were still below the hierarchy, those women were the only ones who could topple her.

"I also don't know, Master is very secretive about his things... I have just seen her and I don't know much about her or from which city she is from..." Huo Qi knew best never to divulge any news when it came to Huo Shen no matter what it was.. he had to keep everything secret.

"Ooohh... I'm feeling thirsty and sleepy, I will go upstairs to the guest room, you can bring me some drinking water over..." She stood up and began walking over to the stairs, Huo Qi didn't have any other options apart from going over to the kitchen to get her some drinking water.
