"How can I calm down when you won't tell me anything?" Lin Qing retorted furiously.

"Some informations are classified, and even if I wanted to share it, I can't and some it's better that you don't know any" the system explained.

I'm not doing anything until I get an answer!

"Host... Okay, fine. I can't provide details, but I'll explain as much as I can.

Firstly; no , Su Haoyu won't be like Sun Ming if you succeed your mission, he'll continue the way he is, he won't be unlucky like her.

And the actual mission is taking down the original male lead, cause everything deviates because of him.

There's something wrong with him that I can't explain.

There was annoying mechanical sound inside Lin Qing's brain.

"Ughhhh,.Stop it, stop it"

She exclaimed the last one out loud , her vision got blurry and she suddenly got a headache.

The driver/bodyguard looked behind the backseat where Lin Qing and Sun Ming was.

Then Lin Qing realized she said it out loud , she waved at her hand to the driver for him to contuine driving.

System contuined talking;

"Look host!

If I say anything more than I am not supposed to , this will happen and I might just get deleted and you'll be alone in this mission."

Lin Qing sighed, the headache contuined and her frontal lobe was still throbbing, she put her fingers on her forehand and massaged there softly.

System continued " Host , I am just a system.

Only thing I can say is that the original male lead absorbs the luck of the world.

As long as he has his halo you can't kill him, fight him, or get in his way.

If you do, he'll know it and retaliate you with tenfold.

You can only confront him with romance points.

If you get sidetracked and waste time, he'll find better disposable characters to serve his purpose.

So even if you take Qian An, he'll find another one.

You just can't kill him. His only Achilles' heel is Sun Ming, but you know how unlucky she is , so she'll get hurt without you doing anything to her.

Besides she is also unkillable until the plot is over. So you can't use her either.

"They are really unkillable?" Lin Qing was pretty confused, she knew that the world she lived in was a world of a book but she didn't expect such super power.

"That will be an option only after his plot is over but you can't kill anyone till your mission is over because protagonists can't kill people in the book's setting.

Then do whatever you want, if you want to eat prison meal, I won't be here to stop you"

"Wait but , didn't Liu Jun get me killed?" Lin Qing asked. "I know it was his doing, am I wrong?"

"As long as he didn't do it himself, but his subordinates or people did , it won't count.

If some people on his side think that some people are dangerous to male lead, they'll eliminate these obstacles,it's how plot works for side characters" the system clarified.

"Sooo..... when I become the protagonist, I'll be the one who sucks the luck out of people in the world. What will happen to the side characters then?" Lin Qing inquired.

"No, Host, the one we're implementing is a new setting, different than this one.

Unfortunately for you that you can't steal luck from the world like the original male lead. It will be given to the world itself to continue," the system assured her.

"Oh," Lin Qing felt relief instead of disappointment.

They arrived at hospital while they were having a conversation, (ahem internal monologue)

Lin Qing arranged for Sun Ming to be admitted to a VIP ward in a private hospital, opened a credit under her name for paying the bill, and then left the ward.

She had too many things to think about—world collapsing, a psychopathic male lead, her family's company, and Su Haoyu. This day was truly exhausting and far from over.

She needed to find a private detective to expose the misdeeds of the news anchor involved in domestic violence and save his wife, as well as terminate his employment at their company.

She need an actual detective to prove her already existing knowledge since she can't create an information out of thin air and her brother might get suspicious by the source of these informations and she can't rely on System forever.

System will leave one day and she'll have to do these by herself, she can't be too dependent on System.
