Coffee Cup

As they entered the silent floor office, everyone held their breath in disbelief.

Their boss had ran to meet with a woman!

And their boss had invited a woman into his office, and the sight left them speechless.

The boss, who was typically rude to everyone, seemed transformed into a tamed beast in front of this mysterious guest.

Lin Qing and Su Haoyu followed suit and entered office, before sitting down both went to wash their hands.

When they sat down, Su Haoyu couldn't help but glanced at Lin Qing who was sitting so close to him.

She innocently smiled at him and passed him a pair of chopsticks, but as she pulled her hands away, their fingertips touched.

Su Haoyu's face flushed, and he quickly pressed hard on his chopsticks, not daring to look at her.

However, he missed the smirk that played on Lin Qing's lips.

Although it was just a brief touch, Su Haoyu felt an electric current run through his fingers, causing him to tremble slightly. He was so nervous that he buried his head down.

When he looked at the lunch box he realized all the food there was his favorites.

His mind started to get fuzzy;

" how did she know"

"Does she..."

" is she really that interested in me that she asked my grandmother my favourite meals and cooked for me?"

His flushed face was hidden while his head down but the top of his ears were noticeablly red.

When they were eating Lin Qing started slowly close the distance between them till her legs started to touch his legs.

Su Haoyu stiffened, wondering if this woman had no reservations whatsoever. What if he was a bad guy with ill intentions, she was so focused on eating that she stopped paying attention to her surroundings!

He swiftly moved his legs away, but not long after, her legs were pressed against his once again.

The contact was faintly perceptible, yet he could still feel the warmth and softness of her skin through his pants.

His mind was in a mess while Lin Qing was proud of herself, she looked up and their eyes met and she asked him;

"Umm, do you like it?"

"Yes!"

He instantly replied first then realized what the question was.

He started to cough abruptly then replied again;

" They're good"

After seeing himcough like that Lin Qing decided to stop teasing him during their meal.

Instead, they both continued eating in silence. After finishing their lunch, Su Haoyu ordered coffee for both of them from the receptionist , when he was standing Lin Qing opted change seats and sat opposite of him this time.

After he put down his coffee on table Lin Qing suddenly asked;

"Senior Yu, do you have girlfriend?"

Ofcourse she knows he doesn't have a girlfriend but this is an ultimate question that girls asks their crushes and if she goes overboard with her flirtings this little shy drumstick might run away from her.

Because this was the case all the time.

She had several relationships and it always ended with her exes saying ;

" You're too jealous"

"you are too controlling"

Or even "you're crazy"

And her friends would say she would take hundreds of steps without waiting for the guy taking for the first or second steps.

This would make her less girly or too vulgar!

She doesn't think she did anything wrong , maybe except for picking trash!!

Yes , she really didn't have a good eye before, she would get blinded by how people look or act or talk but she wouldn't much delve into their personalities or intentions.

Meanwhile Su Haoyu was dumbfounded by the sudden question, he couldn't even have time to think before speaking;

"Haa? "

"What?"

"I mean , no, I don't, I never, no, I don't have a girlfriend."

Then he looked at the brightened smile on Lin Qing's face.

She was looking at him intently as if waiting for him to say something or ask something with this his imagination started to get wild then she suddenly spoke again;

" I don't have a boyfriend either.."

Su Haoyu didn't expect her to say something like this, he looked at her face then he picked up the coffee cup on the table to hide his face that was fully red and his smile almost reaching his ears.
