12 Chapter 12: Familiarity

I was awakened by a thousand kisses in my face.

"Hmm"

"Good morning wife" he said while smiling at me.

"Morning." I yawned.

"I'll be going now, I got an urgent call from the new investors. Are you fine here alone?" He said.

"Yeah, one of your servant glared at me yesterday I'm afraid he might do some dirty tricks." I said.

"Really? Okay I'll remember that but for now I'll be going so take care okay?." He give me a peck and left.

What a sweet guy.

I went to the bathroom and fixed myself by taking a shower and does my daily routine.

I opened up Kovu's laptop and was shock to found out his wallpaper was my picture.

Checked my phone and notice a lot of missed calls from shaw and 12 messages.

Good thing I brought the spare usb and immediately inserted it. I also check the status of sales and it was greatly improving fast. A lot of investors pops up in my email.

I brought the laptop and left the room while dialing shaw I walked downstairs.

"Dee! Thank goodness you're safe." He sighed in relief.

"You're overreacting, I'm fine shaw." I said.

"Are you sure about that, you have no idea what the Qin's are." He's tone became serious.

Somebody just bumped me intentionally!

The laptop was now broken and so is my phone.

"What the fuck is wrong with you." I exclaimed.

It was the servant yesterday.

"Its your fault for not looking in your way and keep on flirting with other guys while young master was gone. Oh yes! You are a slut after all no wonder." She mockingly said.

My eyes went darker I wasn't given a chance to live just to get bullied.

I slapped her real hard in the face. I'm no longer myself with anger. I want blood dripping in my hands.

The other servants was shocked with what they saw. Even the woman name Era was still holding is cheeks in pain.

I was not satisfied by just slapping her my hands are trembling I drag her hair to make her stand and choke her up in the neck.

Terrified was filled with the woman's face.

On the other hand Zach was just entered the mansion and notice the servants commotion.

"What are they doing?" I confusingly look at them and follows what they're looking at.

I was stunned that aura was so familiar.

"Demonise!"

Wtf she's killing the servant.

She look at her way at me and somehow realizes what's happening.

Trembling in fear she took a step back and suddenly collapsed.

The servant was coughing after being strangled.

I immediately ran towards Dee.

"What the hell are you looking at! Get my car now! Kovu will kill you all if anything happens to her!" I warned them all.

Fudge! I carry her and put in the car.

I drove fast and dialed Kovu.

(What do you need? I'm on the meeting right now.) He answered irritatedly.

"I'm on the way to the hospital, your fiancé lost her consciousness with the fight earlier." I said directly.

(What?! I told you to keep an eye on her!) he said angrily and ended the call.

I send him the location and carry Dee into the emergency room goodness I have no idea with this stuff.

"The patient is experiencing too much stress she's safe now I'm Dr. Lyre." She said.

Earlier I was frustrated now I was stunned with the beauty in front of me.

"Mr. are you listening to me what happened to your wife?." She repeated.

"Dee is not mine,she's my friend's wife." I corrected her.

"She got into a fight and she just recovered from an accident which makes her comatose for a year. Please assure her safety and move her to a private room she's Qin's fiancé." I explained.

"Noted." And left.

I found a nameplate in the floor and picked it up.

Dr. Lyre Orions hmm.

I located the room where Dee was and sat on the sofa.

A couple of minutes later a slam in the door was heard, it was kovu.

"What happened." He said in a dangerous voice.

"A servant of yours troubled her what shocked me to see was she almost murdered your servant. Dude she's scary her aura was so damn familiar."

I told him regarding what I saw.

Kovu didn't mind me at all instead focusing his attention to Dee.

This guy was indeed changing because of this mysterious woman.

Kovu's thoughts was blaming himself this would be a big trouble if the Wei's found out.

The moment Zach called him, he was freaking scared to death. He left everyone in the meeting and flew his car to the hospital.

A Dr. suddenly gets in.

"You must be the husband, she's stable now and her baby she just needs to rest. As much as possible let her stay away from too much stress." She said.

I was deaf for a moment.

"What did you say? Baby?" I asked in disbelief.

"Your wife is 4weeks pregnant. Are you not aware of that?" She asked.

"She's pregnant, I'm gonna be a dad." I was still not over of what I heard.

I didn't hear what the two of them discussed what matters to me is my wife to wake up.

"Congratulations dude you are so damn fast I salute you." Zach said.

"Yeah, can you fix the meeting I left? I'll be staying here." I said.

"No problem gonna tell the others." He said.

Later on.

"W-what happened?" She asked.

"Shh just stay in the bed, everything's fine now babe no need to worry okay?"

I gently said.

"That servant of yours was hitting on me intentionally." She said.

"I'll fix everything up when we get back." I calmly said.

"Why am I at the hospital again?" She asked.

"Babe you're pregnant." I said and gently touched her tummy.

"Are you serious?" She said excitedly.

"Yes did you not feel any vomiting experience?" I asked.

"Just in your car the other day." She said.

"Let's go home." I said.

"But that woman." She said.

"Don't think about it I'll handle everything."

I've seen a sign if relief in her face.

We check out at the hospital and brought her home besides I would be assigning a private doctor for her.

I was about to carry her when she speak.

"Your laptop was broken." She said

I just smiled and carry her inside.

We arrive at the room and lay her down in the bed.

"Is it okay if you'll assign Dr. Lyre here?"

She said gently.

"Okay I'll talk to her, you stay here and rest." I said.

She nods and closed her eyes.

I left the room and start to fix the mess.

Just right in time Zach arrived and already called all the servants.

"That woman I brought is my wife and she's pregnant who dares to hurt her." I said in a dangerous voice.

They points at Shang who still have a red mark in the cheeks.

"Tell me what happened."

"I'm so sorry Mr. Qin spare me I didn't know at all I'm to ignorant thought that she is a slut I bumped her which mades her drop the laptop and her phone I thought she was cheating on you with other guy on the phone please Mr. Qin I ask for your-

"Shut up! Did you all not know who that woman is? She is the daughter of the Wei's clan we are waving a war if a single bruise was seen on her how stupid of you! Get her.." I'm fucking pissed.

Zach called of the other guards and drag her on the other car.

I just nod he knows already what to do.

Fear was written in everyone's face I signed them to get back to work.

(Renj Calling..)

"Kovu someone sent me a letter with a mark of Z saying there will be an incoming battle at the underground. The others told me its starting to get chaos. Look at your email I sent the other Silver ranks were murdered brutally. One gold rank was injured and manage to report." He said in a serious voice.

"Got it call the others I'll be on my way." I said.
