Making a Deal
Rose was still in shock when Evan entered the room. When their eyes met, she seemed to ask Evan to help her escape this awkward situation.
Evan calmly smiled as he walked into the room. "Rose, I'm sorry to make you wait…." Evan sat right beside Rose as he held her hand to calm her. "This old man is my grandpa. His name is Arthur Collins. Just call him Grandpa." Then Evan looked at his grandpa. "Grandpa, this is my fiance. Her name is Rose Wilson."
"E-Evan, you won't believe it!" Rose gripped Evan's hand tightly, feeling a thrill. "I met Grandpa Arthur in Vale City. Do you remember? Have I told you about my encounter with an old man in the park? Well, it's him, your grandpa…." Rose's eyes are beaming excitedly. "I still couldn't believe it. How could God arrange our encounter like that? It felt like I was in a movie. It's hard to believe!"
