Yi Jue sat behind the desk and read through the report. He pinched his nose as he felt tired and picked up his mug of coffee to drink.

Chi Xue came outside of the office and knocked on the door.

Yi Jue: " Come in."

Chi Xue entered and close the door.

" Boss, you have a dinner to attend later on and a meeting with the president of the Fu Group Company."

Yi Jue: " Hm. Follow up the next meeting and how was the work I ask you to do?"

Chi Xue: " I do according to what you order."

Yi Jue: " Hm. You can go back."

Chi Xue left the office to finish his leftover work. It gets piles up after he got busy with his boss's order.

He sighs about his busy life after his boss got his wife.

Mu Wei Wei seat in the cafe shop waiting for Mu Feng. Today, even though it is sunny, it is icy cold during the winter, and snow is everywhere in the city.

Drink a cup of hot coffee with cheesecake very fit in this weather.

Mu Feng came into the cafe shop and saw Mu Wei Wei's seat near the window. She walked over and take a seat.

Mu Feng glanced at Mu Wei Wei's face.

" What's wrong? Why is your face so lifeless and dark spots under your eyes?"

Mu Wei Wei touches her face and awkwardly answered.

" I was busy and didn't get enough sleep that's why."

Mu Feng frowned as she could see that Mu Wei Wei didn't tell the truth.

" Wei Wei, you should tell me the truth. There are only us as sisters. Or I will be worrying about your life."

Mu Wei Wei sighed.

" I meet some unexpected incident."

Mu Feng: " What incident? How come I didn't know?"

Mu Wei Wei reaches out to hold Mu Feng's hand and eases the atmosphere.

" You need to calm down first. Don't get too excited okay. Here drink your favorite that I already order for you."

Mu Feng calms down a bit and drank the sweet latte.

" Okay. Go ahead tell me what happen?"

Mu Wei Wei didn't get a choice since she knew how Mu Feng is. So she retold the incident of how she got drugs and skip the part where she has one nightstand with Fu Yan.

Mu Feng: " OMG, you didn't get hurt right? How come you didn't tell me early?"

Mu Wei Wei: " You are hurt and at the hospital so I didn't want you to worry about it. It's not good for your health."

Mu Feng: " But still, you should have let me know or I will be more worried about you. Who is the guy who dares to drug you?!"

Mu Wei Wei: " It's Li Lue. He wasn't anyone important so I will take care of the problem."

Mu Feng was stunned when she heard that name because that is the cause of Mu Wei Wei's death in her past life.

In her previous life, Mu Wei Wei didn't work in the fashion industry like now but as an employee at some sales company, she doesn't really remember what happened but one thing for sure is Mu Wei Wei involve with Li Lue who is the Young Master of Li Clan.

Mu Feng's hand clenched as she held on to the cup and her knuckle turn white as she recalled how Mu Wei Wei died in her previous life.

Mu Wei Wei saw Mu Feng's face turn pale.

" Mu Feng, calm down. Don't get your emotion to excite."

Mu Feng returned to her sense and calm down.

"It's good that you are safe and didn't get hurt."

It seems like she was too occupied with her own problem that she forget about Mu Wei Wei's problem.

This time she will try everything to prevent Mu Wei Wei repeated the same mistake in her previous life.

She only wishes for Mu Wei Wei to be safe in this life. Her eyes were cold and dark as she thought of that man.

Mu Wei Wei: " Oh, yes, I forget to tell you that William went back to Italy. He needed to take care of some family problem."

Mu Feng: " Oh, no wonder I never heard from him anymore. As long he is fine then it good."

Mu Wei Wei put the coffee cup down and saw a ring with a big diamond on Mu Feng's ring finger.

Mu Wei Wei: " Gasp!! OMG! Did Young Master Yi propose to you already?! Why didn't you tell me?!"

Mu Feng: "....."

It's not that she not telling her okay but because she forgot about it since she just learn the news of Li Lue.

Mu Feng: " Cough... I was going to tell you but just forget for a moment. Yes, he proposes to me already but we have not discussed the wedding yet."

Mu Wei Wei smirk. " OMG. I didn't know that he have such good taste in choosing the ring."

Mu Feng smiled without reply.

Mu Wei Wei: " You better not forget to ask me to be your bride of honor!"

Both of them smile and laugh as they forget about the bad things.

Wu Fei Fei sat in her seat and scrolled through her phone.

Then she got a message from her Aunt Xu to meet up with her mother. At first, she hesitated but then she thought that since Mu Feng didn't move into the Wu Mansion so she should take advantage to get sympathy from her mother.

Now she needed resources and money so, she messages that she will meet them in an hour.

Then she told her assistant that she need to go meet her mother after filming.

Elsewhere in the mall.

Madam Wu seat on the sofa drinking tea and chatting with Xu Su Su. She had always wanted to find time to meet her best friend.

Now she got time to meet with Xu Su Su.

Madam Wu: " How are you? I've not seen you so long?"

Xu Su Su: " I'm good. It is the same as working and taking care of my husband."

Madam Wu: " How was your trip out of the country?"

Xu Su Su: "It's okay. It's just their food wasn't to my taste. Oh, I heard you found your biological daughter?"

Madam Wu is pale as Xu Su Su mention Mu Feng.

Xu Su Su saw how Madam Wu look and pretend to look sad.

" Sorry, I didn't mean to ask about it. You don't have to tell me if you don't feel comfortable about it."

Madam Wu shook her head. " No, it's fine. It just is a little complicated since we never raise her."

Xu Su Su: " It's okay, I'm sure she will understand after spending some time together."

Madam Wu didn't reply and just drink her tea quietly. She didn't know how to talk in public about her family situation so she kept quiet even though they are friends.

Xu Su Su saw that she couldn't get any good information from Madam Wu so she change the topic as they waiting for Wu Fei Fei.

Wu Fei Fei entered the classic coffee shop and saw her mother and Aunt Xu. She went over to greet them.

" Sorry for coming late, mother and Aunt Xu." Wu Fei Fei went to take a seat beside her mother.

Madam Wu smiled and put down her cup on the table.

"It's fine. You don't have to hurry to come. Are you hungry?"

Wu Fei Fei: "' No, I'm fine. Did you and Aunt Xu eat yet?"

Madam Wu: " No, not yet."

Xu Su Su smiled and was happy to see her daughter again.

" Yes, your mother and me waiting for you. You should eat more and don't always be on diet and skip your food. Look at you, you look so skinny even though you are already pretty but health always comes first."

Wu Fei Fei was embarrassing and touches her blushed face.

" Yes, I understand."

Madam Wu: " Yes, Fei Fei. Don't always skip your food okay. Health always comes first or I will be worried. You have not come home for a while now. Come home when you have time, I want our family to spend the new year together. We all miss you a lot."

Madam Wu held Wu Fei Fei's hand. She knew how awkward her daughter felt and that was why she didn't ask Wu Fei Fei to come home.

She wanted everything to go as planned but it didn't go as she and her husband planned. She didn't want to wrong Wu Fei Fei because no matter what it was the child she had raised for 20 years.

Wu Fei Fei smiles softly and held her mother's hand.

" Yes, mother. I was feeling awkward during the past months so I hope you and dad didn't feel sad about it."

Madam Wu shook her head and smiled as tears glisten in her eyes.

" No matter, you will always be my daughter."

Wu Fei Fei hug her mother.

" Thank You, mother."

Madam Wu was too happy and didn't see Xu Su Su and Wu Fei Fei's expressions.

Xu Su Su felt heartache and anger.

She wishes she could hug her daughter but she can't do since she already let someone else replace her spot in her daughter's heart.

She is also angry that her plan to be removed is not going as planned and worries that it might destroy her daughter's path to success.

It looks like she needed to do something or else her daughter will lose her place in her career and family.

Her eyes were dark with ruthless and sinister expressions.
