#### Family Reactions

As the final notes of "House of Gold" echoed through the gymnasium, the room erupted into applause and cheers. Aplus had done it. They had not just performed; they had moved their audience, leaving everyone deeply impressed. The band members exchanged elated glances, their faces glowing with pride and relief. They stepped offstage to a throng of friends and family, who enveloped them in hugs and words of congratulations.

**Justin's Mom:**

As soon as Justin descended from the stage, his mother rushed forward, her face beaming with pride. She knelt down and hugged him tightly. "Justin, you were incredible!" she exclaimed. "I knew you had talent, but this was beyond my expectations. Your voice was amazing!"

Justin grinned, his face flushing with pride. "Thanks, Mom. I'm so glad you liked it. We worked really hard."

**James, the Music Teacher:**

James approached the group with a proud smile. "You kids were fantastic," he said, ruffling Justin's hair. "All those hours of practice really paid off. I'm so proud of all of you."

Taylor looked up at James and smiled. "Thank you, Mr. James. We couldn't have done it without you."

**Selena's Mother:**

Selena's mother was next to give her congratulations. "Selena, your voice was beautiful," she said, tears glistening in her eyes. "You sang with so much emotion. I'm so proud of you."

Selena blushed and hugged her mother. "Thanks, Mom. I was really nervous, but I'm glad it turned out well."

**Taylor's Family:**

Taylor's mother, father, and younger brother all gathered around her, showering her with praise. "Taylor, you were amazing on the guitar!" her father said, giving her a bear hug.

Her mother nodded in agreement. "Every note was perfect, sweetheart. We're so proud of you."

Taylor's brother, a few years younger than her, looked up with admiration. "I want to play the guitar just like you when I grow up," he said earnestly.

Taylor smiled and ruffled his hair. "Thanks, little bro. Maybe I can teach you some chords."

**Bruno's Parents:**

Bruno's parents approached him, both wearing proud smiles. "Bruno, your drumming was fantastic," his father said, giving him a high-five. "You kept the beat perfectly."

His mother nodded. "I couldn't help but tap my feet along with the rhythm. You were great!"

Bruno grinned widely. "Thanks, Mom and Dad. I'm glad you enjoyed it. I was worried I might mess up."

**Group Conversation:**

As the group continued to celebrate, the families of Aplus mingled together, sharing their pride and admiration for the young musicians.

"You kids have a real gift," Justin's mom said to the group. "It's wonderful to see how well you work together."

James nodded. "They have a special bond. I've never seen a group of kids so dedicated and passionate about their music."

Taylor's father looked at the children with a smile. "This is just the beginning for them. I can't wait to see where their music takes them."

Selena's mother agreed. "With talent and hard work like this, the sky's the limit."

Bruno's father turned to the kids. "What do you think, Aplus? Ready to take on the world?"

Justin looked at his bandmates, his friends, and felt a swell of gratitude and accomplishment. "Absolutely," he said confidently. "This is only the beginning."

**The Announcement:**

As the excitement buzzed around the gymnasium, Mr. Thompson took the stage once more, the microphone in his hand. The chatter in the room quieted down as everyone turned their attention to the principal.

"Ladies and gentlemen, what a fantastic evening we've had! The talent and dedication of our students have truly shone through. It's now time to announce the winners of tonight's talent show. Our judges had a very difficult time making their decision, but they have come to a conclusion."

The room was filled with anticipation as the principal opened the envelope containing the results. "In third place, we have a wonderful dance performance by the fifth-grade girls! Congratulations!"

The audience applauded as the group of girls took the stage, beaming with pride.

"In second place, with a mesmerizing magic show, please give it up for Daniel from the fourth grade!"

Another round of applause echoed through the gymnasium as Daniel walked up to receive his certificate, a big smile on his face.

"And finally," Mr. Thompson continued, "the first-place winners, who have captured our hearts with their touching performance and incredible talent, are Aplus!"

The gymnasium erupted into cheers and applause. The members of Aplus stood stunned for a moment, their eyes wide with surprise and joy. Then, together, they ran up to the stage, their hearts pounding with excitement.

Mr. Thompson handed them a large trophy, engraved with the words "First Place - Rockwell Elementary Talent Show." He leaned down and said, "You kids have an amazing future ahead of you. Congratulations!"
