Settlement

Once they arrived at the hospital, Diana had finished being examined and was resting in the infirmary with her friends. The incident seemed too shocking for the young girls, so neither of them spoke until Maya entered the room with Evan and Kevin.

"Sorry we came late. How are you guys doing now?"

Diana's eyes immediately reddened when she remembered Maya had saved her life again. Maya, aware of Diana's feelings, immediately approached the girl. Maya let Diana hug her tightly, while crying while she herself tried to calm Diana by gently stroking her back.

"It's fine. You're safe now ...."

Maya whispered softly while her eyes stared at Evan and Kevin who were invited out by two of Diana's friends. Maya knew the two of them would most likely talk about Diana's examination results or just give Diana some space to express her feelings. Maya waited until Diana was completely calm, before she let go of their embrace and wiped the tears that rolled down to Diana's cheeks.
