Li Jie was happy in the arms of his beloved was unaware of the future, planed by his beloved that awaited him.

Li Jie pushed himself away from Bo Jing in fear of getting his clothes dirty by the blood that was on his own clothes.

" Brother Jing, I will dirty your clean clothes " Li Jie said in his voice, trying hard to sweeten it.

" Then go and take a bath, then come up. Today, we all are going to eat together " Bo Jing said in a warm tone but his eyes and actions were anything but warm.

Li Jie was shocked because usually he would come late and eat the left overs in the basement.

Li Jie smiled brightly after hearing that he was going to eat together with his family.

Bo Jing was stunned by Li Jie's beautiful smile. He knew that Li Jie was beautiful but he was still stunned by his smile. even, the blood and gore cannot diminish his beauty. Li Na looked at Bo Jing who was staring at Li Jie with a dazed expression with a scorn.

" Cough " Li Na interrupted which caused Bo Jing to come out of the stupor. " Brother, The food is getting cold " Li Na said with her hands clutching Bo Jing's clothes, trying to keep him away from Li Jie.

" Yes, i am going. I will be back shortly " Li Jie said and made a run for the basement to clean himself.

Li Jie was living in the basement of the house. The house had proper rooms for the family but father Li demanded for an extra room to use it for study resulting in Li Jie to stay in the basement.

Li Jie used his ice abilities to clean himself quickly and ran back to the dining room. He looked at his family and boyfriend that have already started eating without him. They looked quite harmonious without him.

" Li Jie, come sit with us. The food was getting cold, So, We started without you. You know, Nowadays, food is a luxury. We shouldn't waste it " Cheng Hong said in a regretful voice.

Li Jie sat on the chair that was the farthest from others and began eating.

He looked at his plate that had minimum food with satisfaction. He was satisfied with it because he finally was able to eat with everybody else. He was not alone anymore. He ate all of the food with a smile on his face.

Looking at Li Jie who was eating gracefully and with proper etiquette, Li Na clenched her fist under the table " This pretentious whore, Who is he trying to impress by his manners. I would love to see how he would act after today " Li Na mumbled under her breath. She had always felt envious and inferior compared to Li Jie who had inherited his mother's beauty and elegance while she had to pay proper attention on everything.

The food was quickly finished and everybody got up. Li Jie turned to leave, he wanted to spend some time with his boyfriend but he was extremely tired and he knew that Bo Jing usually prefer to talk with Li Cheng and Li Na than him.

" Brother, Where are you going. Let's drink together with brother Jing " Li Na said and held his hand, when she saw Li Jie who was trying to leave.

Li Jie stopped in his track and turned his face to look at Li Na who was holding his hand, A flash of disgust passed in his eyes. He don't like anyone touching him from early age that got worsened in the apocalypse. He retracted his hand from Li Na's grip and considered drinking with them. He didn't know that this was the biggest mistake he made in his life.

Li Na, Bo Jing and Li Jie went over to the drink area. Li Na excused herself to pour their drinks. Li Jie failed to notice the interaction between Li Na and Bo Jing with their eyes full of malice.

Li Jie and Bo Jing talked about some general topics happening in the army base when Li Na came with their drinks.

Li Jie was about to pick a glass when suddenly Li Na snatched the drinks and handed him a glass. Li Jie was confused by her behavior but chose to ignore it.

Li Na and Bo Jing were talking about something but Li Jie was unable to hear it, It was like something was preventing him from using his senses and mind. His eyes were hardly open, He tried to stay awake but soon excused himself from them and walked towards the basement. He thought that he must be very tired to fall asleep in the middle of conversation.

What he didn't knew was that he had fallen unconscious before reaching the basement.

Li Na and Bo Jing soon came and found Li Jie who was sprawled on the floor and in unconscious state. Bo Jing and Li Na turned their heads towards each other and smiled in a cold manner. Bo Jing pulled out a phone from his pocket to call someone.

Li Jie was feeling nothing at all, He tried to move her hands or any other part but it was like he was paralyzed. He was unable to activate his powers or space but the results were same. For the first time in his life, Li Jie was feeling helpless and vulnerable. He tried to speak only to find that he was gagged by some cloth. He tried to hear about his surrounding, He could tell that he was in a vehicle and maybe tied up because he was also gagged. He thought he was kidnapped but then why would anyone try to kidnap him. The sound of vehicle stopped.

Li Jie suddenly tensed up when he felt something on his face. He had a bad feeling about it.
