DINNER (II)

Ying Ying looked at Mo Yichen with eyes full of hostility, Ying Ying could feel that the man in front of him was powerful man and has an ulterior motive by approaching Li Jie and Mo Yichen was looking back at the fox with same intensity, the fox was intelligent.

Mo Yichen connected all dots and understood one thing clearly. Earlier, the fox was agitated and Li Jie came back with bloodied knuckles. There must be some connection between them and Mo Yichen could never establish this kind of relationship with the young man. Thinking about it, Mo Yichen glared at the fox with his ice-cold eyes.

The temperature of room dropped significantly.

Both of them heard footsteps approaching, They looked at each other and came to a tactic understanding.

Li Jie came with a bottle of aged red wine. He could sense the tension in the dinning room and looked at the man and Ying Ying curiously but saw nothing out of usual.

He opened the bottle of wine and poured in two wine glasses " Lets eat " Li Jie said and sat down on the chair.

Mo Yichen looked at the table full of dishes. He could not help but look at Li Jie and then at himself. " how are we going to finish this much food " Mo Yichen thought.

Ying Ying was sitting on the rug and eating rabbit stew happily, Li Jie had made this according to his request. If he could, he would gloat about it in front of Mo Yichen.

Mo Yichen felt a shiver run down his spine, He instantly turned to glare at the fox.

Mo Yichen smelled the appetizing fragrance coming from the stew and started eating.

Li Jie who was eating picked his wine glass and looked at the man beside him whose body was much sturdier and muscular than his own body but he was eating with grace and elegance which was not expected from a soldier. He was eating in small and equal bites.

Under the soft lighting of the dining room, Li Jie's gaze fell on the face of the man, His skin color was not pale like his own, It was beautiful bronze shade with a straight nose, a pair of unfathomable cold eyes, eyebrows like swords, thin lips and angular jaw which further increased the overall masculinity. He was easily the most handsome man for Li Jie. The white shirt was stretched across his broad chest, Li Jie could easily outline his abs through his shirts.

Mo Yichen who was at the end of the intense stare coming from Li Jie turned his head and stared back at Li Jie who was checking him out.

Li Jie instantly retrieved his gaze and pretended to look at Yig Ying.

Mo Yichen looked at the flustered man who was boldly checking him out earlier and now was red in embarrassment.

Mo Yichen's gaze fell on the man's red ears which looked soft and round, " It would feel so good to bite that ear. would it feel as soft in my mouth as it looks " Mo Yichen was surprised by his own thought. He picked his wine glass and took a sip to calm himself down.

Both of them ate the rest of the meal in silence.

Mo Yichen was a military general but he was also the heir to Mo enterprises. He had tasted many delicacies all around the globe from famous chefs but the food he had eaten today had a refreshing taste to it. The meet was cooked tender and perfect. The dumpling in the soup were soft and tasty. After eating the food Mo Yichen felt more energetic than ever. He thought maybe Li Jie added something in the dishes.

" From where did you order these dishes " Mo Yichen asked in a cold voice, His eyes looking sharp.

Li Jie looked up, He knew that Mo Yichen must have assumed something on his own but still, looking at the man who was suspicious of him, a flash of disappointment flashed through Li Jie's eyes for a millisecond and then back to emotionless instantly.

" I made it myself " Li Jie said in an emotionless voice.

Mo Yichen caught the disappointment in the young man's eyes which disappeared instantly as if he was never disappointed. Looking at the emotionless, cold eyes, He felt like someone gripped his heart tightly. He wanted to clear the misunderstanding but he had never consoled anyone before.

An uncomfortable silence filled the room.

" The food was delicious " Mo Yichen said trying to dispel the awkwardness between them. He did not want any misunderstanding between them.

Li Jie stared at the man who was trying to console him but was super awkward. He showed a rare smile on his smile " Thank You ". Even though, He knew that his cooking is good but still he was nervous today's dinner also he had used spirit water which must have made Mo Yichen suspicious of him.

Mo Yichen was dumbfounded looking at the young man smiling at him brightly. The young man was already beautiful beyond compare but it was still inferior compared to the face with the smile. Mo Yichen can see the young man's canine teeth peeking out. It was like a cat who was showing his belly after fangs and claws.

Mo Yichen had a strong urge to protect the smile and capture it for only himself. He didn't want anyone to look at the beautiful smile.This was the first time, He had never felt such possessiveness for anything.

He heard Li Jie calling him which caused him to return to his current situation. the young man was looking at him with his shiny eyes which were not as cold as before. He immediately felt relaxed.

All the dishes were finished at the end. Li Jie stood to collect all the plates for washing but Mo Yichen insisted on doing that. Mo Yichen collected all the plates and walked towards kitchen.

Li Jie looked at the man's backside who was walking leisurely in his home. His gaze fell on his long and powerful legs that filled the jeans perfectly. His shook his head and imidiately increased his speed to walk ahead of the man.

" Just drop them in the sink, I have dishwasher for washing "Li Jie said to Mo Yichen.

" Oh...Okay " Mo Yichen said looking at the man who was standing too close. He looked at the top of his head which was full of beautiful silver hair that looked soft like a cloud. A faint fragrance was coming from the man of wild roses and rain.

Before he could take in more of the intoxicating scent, The young man moved away from him.

" I prepared some tea which is good for sleep " Li Jie awkwardly proposed.
