Li Na clutched at her chest, trying her best not to burst into tears. Tang Zheng turned to look at her. Are you okay? he asked. Li Na gave a weak smile, and her eyes were slightly red and watery. She said, "It seems like I got a little sand in my eyes." Her voice sounded nasal.

Tang Zheng's brows furrowed as he noticed her actions. He knew she was just making an excuse, but he decided not to press the issue. She rubbed her eyes and reached for a tissue to dry them.

Her phone buzzed in her bag, and she quickly retrieved it to answer the call. It was Ning Yu on the line, and her voice echoed through the receiver. "My little sweetheart, why didn't you tell me you were at the hospital?" Li Na was taken aback by the unexpected question.
