Eons of years ago… there exists a sect that focused solely on cultivating powerful cultivators. The sect is considered one of the most powerful sects in the land…
An orphan was born and grew up in the sect.
One day, the sect decided to do an experiment. And they called it… the Perfect Cultivator creation.
And so… as the sect elders play God, they have chosen a few… unimportant orphaned children. And that orphan child was chosen in that experiment.
Through brainwashing the children obeyed and acted as they are commanded. They became mindless cultivating machines.
As time went by, their strength grew at an exponential level that made the Oolong sect elders and its higher-ups elated. And because of this success, they wanted to use such patterns to create more of such cultivators.
But then something went wrong. Before reaching the Singularity Realm, most of the children died. And only one was left… it is that same child.
She grew up to be the most successful product of that experiment… and her name is, Sung Jisoo.
100 years later… the Oolong sect was suddenly attacked and was destroyed by their enemy.
Sung Jisoo was able to survive that tragedy because she was in isolation at that time. And after she came out, only a few sect members are left.
Sung Jisoo, as someone who is like a machine, followed the remaining Oolong sect survivors.
And so… they formed a small sect of their own and they called it, the Rainbow Wisteria sect.
When the sect was established, they needed resources. And they began to control Sung Jisoo and plotted their revenge towards their enemy and take back what was taken from the Oolong sect.
Sung Jisoo, at that time, is already in the Singularity realm and she can be considered as a powerful individual which can rival an entire sect with her strength alone.
And so… as she followed the command of the sect, the enemy was destroyed by her in just one night.
The blood of the enemy sect flowed like a river as their sect was turned into ashes.
She took all of the resources and return to the Rainbow Wisteria sect.
And from that time forth, the Rainbow Wisteria sect grew because of the strength and power of Sung Jisoo… and no one dares challenge them.

999 years later…
Crackle! Crackle! Crackle!
The atmosphere has turned dark and traces of purple lightning began dancing in the cloudy sky… as divine tribulation is about to happen.
This divine tribulation has already attracted all the powerful beings in the land.
Everyone wanted to see the ascension of a new demi-god.
Atop a high mountain calmly sits a peerless beauty while meditating at the center of the dark clouds circling above her head.
A figure suddenly appears in the area.
"Master… the arrays are ready… We are prepared to protect you in your lightning tribulation…" said a handsome guy with long flowing hair, a tall nose bridge, and a perfectly chiseled face.
This man is Luther… the most promising and devoted disciple of the beautiful woman.
And the beautiful woman who is about to go through the divine tribulation… is exactly, Sung Jisoo.
Sung Jisoo has become the sect leader of the Rainbow Wisteria sect, but she has not been totally free from the control of the brainwashing of the Oolong sect. She knew that the way to free herself is through becoming a demi-god.
And today is the day that she has been waiting for, for many years in her life.
And once she became a demi-god, she will truly be free and unfettered. But she would also need to distance herself from the trivial worldly affairs of the world. Her task by then would be to protect the planet Celestia.
She nodded her head in reply.
All of a sudden, the rumbling sound in the sky stopped.
Sung Jisoo's long eyelashes flutters and her eyes slowly open.
A glint of colorful pattern appears in her eyes as she looks up. She seems to feel tranquility deep within her heart.
"This… is this what I wanted?…" she muttered questioning herself as if trying to find a perfect excuse or feeling.
But then that feeling abruptly disappears as a powerful force came out from the dark purple cloud.
A bolt of purple lightning as thick as a man's waist fell down straight at Sung Jisoo.
Boom!!!
Upon seeing this, Sung Jisoo did not even flinch. She just waited for the lightning bolt to fall on her.
Ka-boom!!!
The whole area around her was immediately disintegrated and turned into dust.
Sung Jisoo's Reiki on the other hand resisted the powerful lightning strike.
The first strike was powerful, but it is not enough to cause her harm. She sat calmly in the middle of the ruined ground.
When the people from afar watched the lightning tribulation and what has happened… they were all dumbfounded.
"Damn it! She is really very strong!"
"Do you think we could defeat her if all banded together to fight…"
"Are you stupid? The Helion and Manta sects have done that… and because of their stupidity, they were annihilated by her."
"That's right. We're just lucky that she is not some bloodthirsty demon… if not then we would all be in trouble…"
"I agree… Instead, I can say that she truly is a goddess… Hehe…"
A total of 24 strikes would be needed for her to ascend to the demi-god realm. And right now, she has already received the 23rd strike.
Everyone watches with bated breath as they waited for the strongest lightning the heavens would use to stop the goddess from ascending to be a demi-god.
Right at this moment, Sung Jisoo suddenly opens her eyes and shifted her gaze to the side.
Suddenly, a shadow appears…
"It seems that you cannot wait anymore…" she said with a calm smile.
Luther, who was the shadow, was a bit taken aback as he looks at his master's eyes his heart skipped a beat. He knew that his master seem to have known his plans. But then his heart is still filled with confidence in his success.
"Haha… Nothing can really escape your eyes, Master… How long have you known?" Luther asked with a self-deprecating smile.
"Since the day you approached me…"
This answer made Luther frown. In fact, his whole identity is a secret and only the empire knew who he is. He is the current crown prince of one of the large empires ruling the Talos continent. But even if he is a prince, he chose to become the disciple of Sung Jisoo for a reason.
"Hmm… I am in awe and have truly admired you… my Master…" he said as he lifted his head and looks directly at Sung Jisoo.
His previous subservient disposition and aura have vanished and he turned into someone authoritative.
As the crown prince of an empire, he holds power second only to the emperor.
But he became a disciple and lowered himself... and the reason for that is…
"You are after my demi-god spark, am I right?" Sung Jisoo said with a smile.
"Sigh… I have been merciful and treated you kindly. But it seems that… greed and ambition cannot be changed…" she added.
"Hahaha… Master… I have actually wanted to stop this plan a long time ago…" suddenly the emotion of Luther changes.
One could see that tears began to form in the corner of his eyes.
"I have professed to you, my love… I have offered you my heart!..." he said with an emotional tone.
"But what did you do? You rejected my feelings like it… Like I, was nothing!" he shouted with an aggrieved voice.
"I only wanted your love… But I guess… your cultivation is more important than me,… right?"
"You are a very selfish master! I truly disdained myself for loving a woman as selfish as you!"
Luther wanted to see a different reaction on his master's face. He wanted to see her feeling regretful. But then he noticed her smiling instead… which made him furious.
"It seems that you thought that you have loved me… But… How about the other women you had slept with? Have you ever thought of their feelings? Have you ever considered their love for you? You said that I am selfish… but who is the truly selfish one?" Sung Jisoo replied calmly.
The expression of Luther turned heavy. It seems that she even knew those things.
But then he feels a bit confused as he could not understand her reasoning. As a prince, women for him are nothing but a source of his happiness.
He would love them as he likes, and he would hate them as he likes. That is his birthright and that is his entitlement.
Every emperor has a harem and no emperor has only one woman in his life.
With this in mind, his expression became a bit relaxed… it was as if his emotional outburst was nothing more than an act.
"Haha… Master Sung… no matter what you say. Nothing will change. You will still end up in my hands after I take your demi-god spark… your spark and your body will all be mine..." Luther said with confidence.
His gazes became heated as he scrutinized the beautiful figure of Sung Jisoo.
But he has no time for that now. He has a mission to fulfill, and he would not waste the opportunity to strike.
With a lift of his hand, the array formation in the mountain suddenly crumbles as a large army of imperial soldiers appear.
Along with their appearance, the skies turned darker.
The heavens are fair, the more people helping the one in tribulation, the more powerful the heaven would send its ordeal.
Sung Jisoo who is in the middle of this all did not panic but instead just showed a calm face.
"If this is my end, then so be it… I just hope that in my next life, I could live peacefully… and with a normal family… I'm tired… I'm really getting tired of all of this…" she thought as she slowly closes her eyes accepting her fate.
Crackle! Crackle! Crackle!
Ka-boom!!!
The lightning strikes, but due to its strength, the space around her has actually been torn apart.
Sung Jisoo was a bit startled upon seeing such an event.
As the last lightning bolt descended Sung Jisoo just used her Reiki like usual.
Luther has calculated it precisely on how strong the energy of the lightning would be and the number of imperial soldiers he would use to thoroughly deplete Sung Jisoo's powerful Reiki.
And his calculation seems to be perfect as he could now see the energy barrier around Sung Jisoo slowly dissipating.
However… what he did not calculate is what happened next.
A tear in the space suddenly appears where Sung Jisoo is sitting, and then her whole figure was devoured by the void.
"Nooo!!!" Luther shouted as he wanted to rush in.
However, with the disappearance of the one stopping the lightning, the powerful lightning bolt landed on the ground and destroyed everything around it.
Ka-Boom!
Luther's figure was sent flying as the whole mountain crumbled to the ground.
Time trickled by and Luther slowly regained his consciousness. It took him a while before he could stand up as he has suffered some heavy wounds on his body.
As his gaze roamed the place he is in, his heart suddenly sank. Seeing the flattened mountain before him he knew that his plan was ruined and that his years of scheming were all for naught.
How could he not feel unhappy when his prey has actually escaped the grasp of his hand in the final moment that he was about to win.
He could have finally gotten his hands on a demi-god spark. He could have also taken the most beautiful woman on the continent. But everything is now over.
Luther could not help but cursed out loud as he shouts in anger.
"Damn you! Master Sung! I cannot accept this! I will not accept this defeat!"
