Chapter 9; Hey Mingyue... Good morning...

"She is inside..." Gu Ting felt like, she was openly ignoring them.

"Maybe she has fallen asleep, let's see her tomorrow early in the morning..." They walked away and Mingyue could hear their little chats.

"This time I won't look back.." she vowed, she would be a free-spirited being and chase after her dreams.

Even though she was hungry, she fell asleep, Gu Ting went back to her bedroom and slept, Gu Yun who also couldn't eat anything, went to bed to sleep.

The Gu mansion turned eerily quiet as everyone slept.

Bai Xue who had freshened up and wore her black pajamas, gazed at the map on her phone indicating that the food package has been delivered.

"I hope you are enjoying it..." she softly whispered as she strode over to the balcony gazing out into the bright sky.

A knock sounded from her bedroom door, "Yes come in...." she responded while pocketing her hands and turning around to gaze at the door.

Her bedroom was so huge that had two walk-in-closet, a huge washroom, an 8*8 bed, a three-seater couch with a table, and a studying desk.

"Miss, here is your food..." they strode over and placed the bowls full of food on the table.

"Okay, you can go.." she dismissed the servants as she strode back into the room and settled down before eating her food.

Once she was done, she strode over to the bedside drawer and fetched out a bracelet, the same as the one Mingyue had.

She softly sighed before laying on the bed and falling asleep.

It was morning and Mingyue woke up earlier for the day, she cleaned up and got her school bag, she wore her uniform before rushing downstairs.

It was still early, the maids were the only ones who had woken up and they were in the kitchen preparing breakfast.

"Good morning..." she politely greeted them but they snubbed back, it didn't bother Mingyue who prepared some coffee for herself.

She stretched her hand out to pick a croissant, but a maid suddenly slapped her hand, "Don't touch them with those dirty bare hands!" the maid spoke out rudely, due to the family treatment, the servants also took advantage of her situation to bully her.

Mingyue lifted her hand and roughly slapped her face forcefully, "Don't think that if I don't act I will condone any of this stupidity, don't get on my nerve..." she scolded them using that maid as an example.

"How dare you?" the maid was infuriated and lunged forward attacking Mingyue, who turned sideways and lifted her left leg tripping the maid who fell onto the dustbin and knocking it down.

All the dirt splashed onto her face, "Don't test my patience..." inwardly she was surprised, her flexibility and martial arts were still there intact.

The maid realized it was a no-winning battle so she gave up and the only thing she could do was cry, Mingyue picked up whatever she needed and exited leaving the Gu mansion.

She decided to walk over to the school, which was just nearby, across the streets, she drank her coffee while eating the croissants.

Her phone had spoiled, she was now penniless without any cent under her name, and she needed money urgently.

While strolling and enjoying her coffee, a family car suddenly stopped ahead of her.

"Hey Mingyue, good morning..." Bai Xue shouted out at her from the car window as her head popped out.

"Aaah? Ah Xue?" Mingyue was surprised to see her, but she didn't know Bai Xue always stalked her secretly and knew her behavior, she also has been looking for an opportunity to repay her thus she knew how she acted.
