Chapter 5- God's Body

Along with the memories of formations, there came along the memories of Long Er Du when he had just started on the path of martial cultivation. Long Er Du was from a prestigious family that was known throughout the galaxy and Long Er Du was the youngest and most talented son of the empress in his world.

When he had just started cultivating, it took him less than a month to get to the Fourth Level of Body Refining. Long Er Du was the most talented genius of his family and he had the Emperor ranked talent, Dragon God.

As Long Er Du was cultivating, he came across an ancient tomb and obtained an inheritance that contained a certain martial skill. This martial skill was [God's Body], the martial was created by an extremely powerful man who had almost reached the pinnacle of existence, but was also sadly struck down by the heavens.

[God's Body] was a martial skill that allowed the user have an upgraded body, soul and heightened senses, ultimately allowing one to be an existence akin to a god. The martial skill was separated into three different stages, God's Eyes, God's Muscles, and God's Soul.

God's Eyes had to be learned in order to learn God's Muscles, which in turn is required to learn God's Soul. This was because each tier of the skill had was extremely taxing to the person's limits and could kill the user unless they had mastered the previous tier and tempered themselves enough.

One could tell that this martial skill was extremely hard to learn as even with Long Er Du's talent, it took him almost half a year to comprehend the basic level of God's Eyes. But the result was extremely positive, as Long Er Du was capable of seeing through any formations and was able to zoom in on something at a terrifying magnification.

Luckily for Wan Long, he was able to learn God's Body right now, but he had to slowly comprehend it bit by bit.

That was the end of the memories that Wan Long was allowed to see. But he had still managed to benefit greatly from it as he now had a lot of information about formations, knew more about the outside world, and also had an extremely overpowered martial skill. With this, Wan Long would not have much trouble obtaining a lot more power in the future.

One thing that made Wan Long feel frightened was the thing that Long Er Du mentioned about the Power of Gluttony. It was about the backlash that the power inflicted on its owner when it was not fed cultivation resources every 24 hours. This made him worry as his family was poor and could not afford even the cheapest of cultivation resources.

This was why Wan Long stayed at the First Level of Body Refinement even since he first cultivated at the age of 8.
