A New Threat

"Where am I?"" Trunks asked as he slowly opened his eyes.

"You're back in our timeline." Vegeta said sternly. Trunks jumped up and looked worried.

"Woah what happened?" Goku asked with concern and curiosity. 'Something bad must be happening in the future.'

"I-I need your help. There is a new enemy in my timeline who is far more powerful than anyone I've ever seen." Trunks said as he clenched his fist.

"What do you mean?" Vegeta asked with his arms crossed. "Is it Majin Buu?"

"No I managed to kill Babidi and Dabura before he could awaken." Trunks said looking Vegeta in the eyes.

"Then who is it?" Goku asked wondering who could be causing all this trouble.

"We don't know for sure. What we do know is that he's a Saiyan just like you and Father. We've been calling him Black based off of his clothing." Trunks said as he gritted his teeth. Flashbacks of his mother's death coming back to him.

"He's a Saiyan huh?" Goku asked getting excited. "Now I'm really curious." Suddenly a hole started to form in the sky.

"How curious." Whis stated as the hole grew bigger and a figure could be seen.

"So this is where you ran to." Black laughed out with venom dripping from his tone. Goku flew up towards him.

"I don't know who you are but if you're here for a fight I'm down." Goku said going Super Saiyan. Black smiled before he disappeared and kicked Goku in the back.

"I didn't expect that to hit you Kakarot. Maybe I overestimated you." Black laughed just as excited as Goku.

"That was a cheap shot and I'm surprised that you know my name." Goku stated as he got into his battle stance. Suddenly they both dashed forward and clashed fists their aura burning around them. They started to exchange blows causing sonic booms with each connection.

"Maybe I didn't." Black laughed out as he flew backwards. Suddenly he was being pulled towards the hole in the sky.

"Until next time Kakarot." Black said not fighting against the pull.
