"Attack them!" Nether king shouted as he cast a movement spell with his staff and dashed towards Silver king. Even though the latter wasn't at his peak state, ordinary tier 3 Kings still can't withstand his power. Both of them were long time rivals so only he can fight him properly.
Booming sounds rang out as both sides clashed with surging momentum but the NPCs from Dominion sect soon seized the advantage as they forced back the injured ones from Myriad storm sect. Even Silver king, the strongest among them couldn't defeat Nether king.
"We should retreat" A tier 3 NPC said to Silver king as the situation was looking bleak for them. If they stayed, not only would they lose the carriage, they might even lose their lives.
"Oh! Are you thinking of fleeing" Nether king suddenly said while Silver king was contemplating. "Sorry for you but we've already sealed this place with a magic barrier. Even a true Emperor will need considerable time to break through it" he said.
Despair colored the faces of the NPCs of Myriad swords sect. They were already defeated but the enemy wasn't going to give them any hope for escape. They couldn't believe that they'd deploy such a precious barrier just to catch them. It seemed the treasure inside the carriage is quite precious.
Just when Nether king and the others from Dominion sect were prepared to seize the carriage from their opponents, a crisp sound suddenly rang out and the barrier shattered. It was then replaced by a long spatial fissure that opened up a big hole in the sky. Then a figure flew out and landed heavily on ground leaving a huge crater in his wake.
"Who??" Nether king exclaimed with vigilance. Anyone that could break the barrier with a single strike isn't someone to be trifled with. Even Silver king watched as the dust settled to take a good look at the newcomer.
"Damn it!" Xuanyuan cursed at the ancient portal. After spending up to five minutes in the ancient portal, he'd finally reached the end of the tunnel only to be forced out landing heavily on the ground. Even though he didn't feel much pain, he still felt a stinging pain in his butts after all the restrictions on his in game avatar had been lifted.
But he didn't have time to lament as he felt that there were people eyeing him with vigilance. He was dumbfounded once he took a clearer look at the environment around him.
"What high Mana density!" Xuanyuan exclaimed as he took in a deep breath of refreshing Mana. "It even rivals that of Jade spear Holy city!"
He could tell that he's currently in the wilderness yet the Mana here rivals that of the urban environment of an Holy city.
What made him even more dumbfounded was the equipments on the NPCs staring at him.
"Since when did Epic items become so common?" He muttered. After all even he only had an Epic weapon but here he could detect NPCs with multiple Epic items equipped. The staff of one of them was undoubtedly an Inferior legendary item!
He hurriedly checked the system map to locate this strange place. If this place was just as he thinks it is, he might have to switch his base of operations and bring the Celestial overlords here. But all he saw was a blank map.
As he was indulging in the feeling of astonishment at the newfound environment a system notification rang in his ears.

The Ancient realm of spirituality was the term used to describe the era after the great war when tier 6 Gods still existed in the Realm of spirituality and this was millions of years before the current modern era. In other words, he'd been teleported back in time.
"No wonder the Mana density is so high!" Xuanyuan nodded in understanding. The Ancient realm was far more prosperous than the modern era. Most of the strong items especially items of legendary rank were created in the Ancient era. Some of them had existed even before then. That's why players are always looking for clues relating to Saints and Gods of these era. inheriting their legacies will lead to drastic improvements in their powers.
Xuanyuan's bloodline was the true human bloodline which was very rare even during this time. It's no surprise that he'd to make a trip back to this realm to complete his tier 3 promotion. No wonder the ancient gate consumed so many Magic crystals, it was actually a space-time teleportation.
Xuanyuan gazed at the NPCs around him with envious eyes. Compared to them, the three paragons of Purple leaves city paled in comparison
"But when did I offend anyone?" Xuanyuan wondered as he noticed the hostile gazes directed at him.
"Who are you?" Nether king questioned.
"I'm only a wanderer and landed in this place by mistake" He explained. He could sense that they were engaged in battle before he came so it's best to avoid a misunderstanding.
"How did you break the barrier?"Nether king but was inwardly astonished as Xuanyuan was only a tier 2 Master.
"I don't know which barrier. Perhaps the spatial turbulences shattered the barrier" He explained. He wasn't really lying. He didn't break the barrier. Perhaps the spatial fluctuations was so strong beyond thr tolerance of the Magic barrier.
"Bastard! How do you plan to compensate? That was a tier 4 barrier!"
"I don't have anything worth your attention" Xuanyuan replied...
