Xuan Yuan closed his eyes and his consciousness crept out of his body. Things like the consciousness leaving the body was considered impossible on Earth but was now achievable here. No wonder they named it the Realm of spirituality.

His consciousness expanded, he could feel the air flowing around him. Of course it's not ordinary air mana. Just like air is present in any place, Mana also exists infinitely in space and flows like air itself. Xuan Yuan took a deep breath and tried to move the surrounding mana with his consciousness.

First trial: Failed!

But he didn't give up. He made subsequent attempts to make mana move according to his will but still he failed each time.

Although he feel motivated to keep trying, perhaps he'll see the light at the end of the tunnel but he didn't want to be left in the dust by others either. As such, he decided to challenge his promotion quest. Maybe when he become a Tier 1 player he'd be investigate the way to control mana...

Currently, he's at Level 18. gaining two more levels wasn't too difficult. In less than five hours he rose to level 20. But no skill was unlocked. Past Level 20 no Tier 0 Skill will be unlocked, because Players are expected to challenge their promotion quests and reach Tier 1 gaining access to stronger skills.

Glancing at the time, he chose to log off and have some sleep before heading to school the next day...

Once Xuan Yuan woke up, before doing anything, he first did some exercises. Now he's not the previous Xuan Yuan anymore. His opponent's will be composed of experts particularly after reaching Tier 1. As such he needed to keep himself fit even in the real world. After playing the game in just about two days, his combat standards gained a massive leap. After training in mana control previously his five senses underwent a transformation and he could even hear the footstep of his Mother approaching his room.

'I didn't think such a random training would give so much benefits' Xuan Yuan said to himself...

He quickly did the necessary things and went to school.

On arriving at the class, he met the same scene as the one yesterday with everyone speaking of their achievements in the Realm of spirituality.

Once more, he was subjected to another round of ridicule by his classmates and as usual, Bai Qingyuan stood in his defense.

"Hey! class president, you need to learn how to mind your own business" Tang Ren said.

Tang Ren was a member of Xuan Yuan's class feared by all. He had a burly body which was quiet strange for a guy of his age. He also possessed incredible strength as he could make the desk crack with just one punch. Xuan suffered a lot in his hands in the past...

"How can I allow you guys to be such a bully?" Bai Qingyuan retorted.

"Qingyuan calm down" Yue Ying cautioned.

Tang Ren sneered and walked over to Bai Qingyuan's direction.

"I guess you must love that guy so much" Tang Ren said.

"That's none of your business" She muttered coldly.

In front of Tang Ren's burly figure, she stood unflinchingly with her rather skinny figure.

"Do you think I won't dare to bully you too?" Tang Ren snorted "In this class, I'm the ruler and my words are law!"

"Ruler? Your behavior seems to fit that of a bully instead. You take advantage of your power to bully others, isn't that so despicable for a ruler?" Bai Qingyuan said with disdainful eyes.

"Bai Qingyuan!! I'm warning you, don't force my hand!" Tang Ren roared

"Why? You want to beat me? Do you dare to?" Bai Qingyuan said.

"Get lost!" Tang Ren shouted as he raised his hand to fling her way but a hand suddenly reached out and carefully pulled Bai Qingyuan out of harm's way.

Looking at that figure, the other students were astonished! 'He actually intervened!' many of them thought.

"That's enough Qingyuan, you don't need to go that far" Xuan Yuan said as he let go of Bai Qingyuan's wrist.

"Hey piece of shit!! You want to become the hero saving the beauty? No problem. I'll show the beauty how much of a coward you are!" Tang Ren said and punched at Xuan Yuan...
