Public humiliation

Xuan Yuan was having a big battle with the Sword King in the Tower of evaluation, the outside world was in turmoil!

Heaven will Guild sent a Team of advanced Assassins and they successfully captured 4 female players who are rumoured to have been with the Sword Mage all this while. Subsequently, Heaven will Guild sent word that if the Sword Mage do not come over in 1 day to repent, the girls would be stripped naked in front of the whole city. A public humiliation.

Right now, they have been hanged on the roof with all their equipments gone. The only piece of clothing was the last thing worth regarding as a cloth. If Xuan Yuan refused to come over, they'd face a public humiliation that'd that'd leave a scar on them for life!

"Should we just forcefully log out?" Yue Ying cried.

"It doesn't matter because we'll still appear here if we log in again" Shen Rou said.

In game, when players log in they'd appear at the last location they were in. If the girls chose to log out, it's either they forget about playing the game ever again or face a public humiliation. Neither is good for them.

"Do you think Xuan Yuan will ever come?" Yue Ying asked.

"He will!" Qingyuan said firmly.

"Hey! Do you think our lives are worth it for him to sacrifice himself?" Yue Ying sneered.

"I also believe in Brother Xuan Yuan" Xingyao said.

"What about you Old Shen?"

"He doesn't seem like someone who'd abandon his friends. At least if he won't come for us, he'd come for Qingyuan's sake!" Shen Rou replied.

"Why the fuck is he not here already??" Yue Ying shouted.

"I've no idea. He had a quest so he must be occupied by it" Qingyuan said softly.

"You know we only have a day. If he doesn't show up. I'll just log out forcefully and not cone back ever again!" said Yue Ying.

"Let's wait then" Shen Rou added...

After about half an hour of fighting the Sword King and studying his Mana body, Xuan Yuan finally slayed him using the power of the Overwhelming Sword.

After slaying the Sword King, Xuan Yuan took a seat at a corner to gather his breath. He was now level 42, eight levels away from Level 50 after conquering the first five floors of the Tower of evaluation.

He took a deep breath before suddenly gathering frightening amounts of Mana around him and started inscribing various kinds of Magic arrays in the air.

In the core room, the Saints were thoroughly shocked right now.

"That Kid... He can't be... creating a Mana body!" A Saint stammered.

"Goodness! What the fuck is happening here?" Another shouted.

They were all Tier 5 Saints. In this era where there were no Tier 6 Gods in existence, Tier 5 Saints were the absolute figures in the Realm. Normally, their interest is hardly piqued and they always stayed in the core rooms trying their best to breakthrough to the Legendary Tier 6.

But it was as if the heavens were playing a prank on them right now. They'd all passed through Tier 3 so they knew how difficult creating a Mana body is. But this guy is now here to shatter all their logic by creating one when he's still at Tier 1.

"I'm pretty sure he learnt how to create one just by studying it while fighting. What kind of a genius is that? Are the heavens that bent on showing us their ridiculous blessed son!" A Saint added as they all watched Xuan Yuan condense Magic arrays rapidly with jaws on the floor...

'This thing surely is difficult!' Xuan Yuan thought as he felt fatigue wash over him as he continued creating the Magic arrays. If not because his Soul strength have been tempered by continuously training his Mana control, he'd have collapsed tirelessly since the beginning.

Right now, he was still condensing magic arrays nonstop and even making some modifications in them even linking that of the Berserk Skill, Serpent's Fury. He was hell bent on boosting his attributes to the level of Tier 3 Kings.

When he was 80% complete, his body was completely tired already as only his will was what kept him forward. His vision clouded over as he aged in just a few minutes.

'I can't give up! I have to do it' He kept reminding himself. He knew very well how much struggle he's facing against his opponents in the Tower. Now, he's relying solely on his Ninefold invincible blades shield, the Overwhelming Sword and also his stealth ability to gain advantage over his opponents. But he might not have the advantage in the next level because his opponent might be a Tier 4 Sword Emperor...

81%... 82%... 85%... 90%... 95%... 98%... 99%...

Just when Xuan Yuan was so sure he'd fail, he condensed the last symbol and the whole array was completed! It glowed with light as it gathered Mana rapidly and in the blink of an eye, the Mana in the Hall thinned out considerably. Xuan Yuan quickly used some Magic stones to further fuel the activation of the Arrays. If the activation were to fail, the arrays might be destroyed and that mustn't happen.

Magic stones in game were another kind of currency. Many trade centres, Auction houses, Teleportation Halls etc request these Magic stones for their services. These Magic stones have a wide array of usage. They could be used to activate scrolls, spells, defensive formations and even like now, activate a Mana body. Without these Magic stones, a Mana body won't function efficiently and might not even be activated at all...
