"He became famous a year ago when he conquered the towers first level as a Sword master. Now he's a Sword king, his powers will be comparable to ordinary Sword emperors. He's superior to the starlight emperor in his younger days. He'll surely be placed in the top 20 of the Imperial list once he reaches tier 4" he explained...

Suddenly after 30 seconds, the light being radiated from the third floor dimmed signaling that end of the challenge. Then a young man in his mid twenties stepped out of the tower with exhaustion written all over his face. One could only imagine what he faced in the third level which only terrifying Saints can conquer.

"Congratulations Starlight emperor" the spectators chorused with admiration in their eyes. Even among Emperors, only one in a thousand can successfully conquer the second level of the Ancient tower at tier 4. This shows how difficult challenging the tower is.

Seventh sword king stepped forward towards the exhausted Starlight emperor who nodded in acknowledgement.

"What's in the third level?" Seventh king asked the question on the minds of everyone present.

"It's a Saint level individual" Starlight emperor began. "And he can use world manifestation. I'm afraid only the Demigods can defeat such an existence" he continued, his eyes portraying the horrific experience he'd encountered in the third floor.

Demigods is a term used to refer to tier 5 Saints who'd reached the extreme peak of tier 5. Such existence already possess tier 6 Mana control and are vastly superior to the average tier 5 Saints.

"No wonder only few could reach the transcend the third level" the people murmured among themselves.

While Starlight emperor was chatting with the spectators, Xuanyuan quietly made his way to the Elder who sat in the counter beside the tower. Challengers must earn his approval before they can challenge the Ancient tower.

"I wish to challenge the Ancient tower" Xuanyuan said as he stood in front of the Elder.

"You're only a Sword master. Are you sure you want to enter the tower?" the Elder enquired. After all, only peerless monsters can conquer even the first level while being at tier 2.

"Yes Elder" Xuanyuan replied.

"Alright. The fee is 1000 Magic crystals" the Elder said and Xuanyuan dropped the crystals in his palm before receiving a token from him.

"Name?"

"Sage yuan"

"Sage yuan. Once you're unable to continue, you can just shout 'I surrender' and you'll have forfeited the challenge. Remember, you can only challenge the tower once in a month" the Elder explained.

"Noted, Elder" Xuanyuan bowed before stepping into the first level of the Ancient tower.

"Who's that? I've never seen him before!" One of the spectators exclaimed.

"And he's only a Sword master. He must be so full of himself to challenge the tower before reaching tier 3. Countless geniuses attempted the same but still failed" another said.

"How long do you think he can hold out for?" someone asked.

"One minute"

"One minute? It'd be exceptional if he can even last for 30 seconds"

"I doubt that. He can only last for 15 seconds at best"...

A commotion ensued as people tried to guess how long Xuanyuan can last in the tower. But none considered the possibility of him conquering the level.

Meanwhile, when he entered the tower, he appeared in a hall that's the same size as a soccer field. Then a deep voice rang in his ears as soon as he entered the tower.

<First challenge begins in 10 seconds... 10... 9... 8... ... 3... 2... 1!>

As soon as the timer struck zero, a sword wielding figure appeared in the trial immediately unsheathing his sword and lunging at Xuanyuan.

"Let's leave this place" Starlight emperor said to Seventh sword king outside the tower.

"Let's wait a bit. I'm curious about the young man in the tower" Seventh sword king replied.

"Do you think he'll able to conquer the first level?" Starlight emperor asked.

"I can't say. I just want to see how long he'll last" replied Seventh sword king. "It won't take long" he added.

"Hey look! The second level lit up!" someone suddenly exclaimed.

"What? Didn't he just enter a few seconds ago?"

"There must be a mistake. How can a Sword master conquer the first level in such a short time?"

"It must be an Emperor in disguise!"

Including the ten seconds countdown, only 12 seconds had passed since Xuanyuan entered the tower.

The spectators were dumbstruck as they just witnessed someone conquering the first level of the Ancient tower in less than three seconds.

Even Starlight emperor had a serious expression on his face as his gaze was fixed onto the tower. Someone who could defeat the Ancient king on the first place in two seconds was definitely stronger than the average Emperor.
