Five elemental Magic tower

To ordinary players, the monsters might be tough to deal with but to Pure spring, they were only bigger monsters that couldn't pose any threat to her. Even Divine shieldbearer abandoned his shield and grabbed a spear instead sending a flurry of devastating strikes that eliminated the monsters one by one. None of them seemed to be having a difficult time with their promotion quests at all!..

Time flew by and before one knew it, ten hours had passed by, that was equivalent to 30 hours in game, and the Celestial overlords would have completed their promotion quests by now. Xuanyuan wasn't aware of this though as he yawned and stretched lazily as he sat up on his bed. Perhaps because he was so tired previously, he slept soundly that he didn't even wake up until after ten hours had passed.

He walked to the bathroom to brush his tooth and take a shower before being welcomed by the appetizing scent of the dish his mother was preparing. He quickly went to the kitchen to assist in settling the dishes before joining his mother on the dining table for breakfast composed of simple chinese dishes.

Once he was done with breakfast, he washed the dishes and kept them away before stepping outside to jog a few kilometres before returning back to exercise and consume a bottle of Nutrient fluids then log in to the Realm of spirituality...

Xuanyuan didn't waste and instead proceeded to the City Lord's Manor once he spawned in Jade spear Holy city. There was only a few days left before the siege on the city begins and he had to prepare some defense measures beforehand.

The Manor currently doesn't look so deserted. The place was crowded as soldiers and knights walked about. The weakest of these NPCs was a level 100 tier 1 NPC and they easily numbered up to over ten thousand. There were even more of these NPCs in the various barracks in Jade spear Holy city. Meanwhile the number of tier 2 NPCs and tier 3 Kings were 5000 and 2000 respectively. Such a force was enough to walk through the Holy city unhindered. They could already wipe out several player Guilds with this lineup.

Xuanyuan quietly slipped into the mansion and found 20 tier 4 NPCs waiting for him. They joined after Jade spear Holy city was promoted. Xuanyuan smiled to himself once he saw the tier 4 NPCs waiting for him in the office of the city lord.

'I didn't know Epic main storyline quest were so simple!' Xuanyuan thought. After all, this battle depended mainly on the number of tier 4 combatants both sides possessed. Previously, Jade spear city could only match one of the attacking cities in terms of tier 4 combatants but after its promotion, the number of tier 4 NPCs in the city increased significantly and could rival the joint forces of the two cities. That meant Jade spear Holy city had a better chance of defending the city.

"My lord, we're ready for battle sir" one of the tier 4 Imperial officials of the city stepped forward and said.

"How is the condition of the army?" Xuanyuan asked.

"Excellent my lord. But I think the defensive structures in the city are not enough. Since we're on the defensive side, it'd be better if the barrier around the city are buffed" the Official suggested respectfully.

"That's what I wanted to say" Xuanyuan began. "Please gather the best forgers, magicians and engineers in the city. There's something we need to work on" He ordered.

"Yes my lord" the Official bowed.

"In the meantime, gather the army and have them ready at the borders to confront the enemy. Who knows, they might strike suddenly" Xuanyuan added and the Officials bowed and trooped out of the office.

About ten minutes later, a group of secondary class NPCs entered the office. They were the best forgers, magicians and engineers in Jade spear Holy city. Some of them had even reached the grandmaster rank in their respective fields. Perhaps because of the promotion of Jade spear Holy city, even the Head forger had gotten promoted to tier 4 and is now a Grandmaster forger. But because Xuanyuan had slightly altered his appearance, he couldn't recognize him as his disciple.

"Greetings to the city lord" they saluted with cupped fists.

"Welcome, have a sit" Xuanyuan gestured to the chairs arranged before his desk.

"This is the design of a Magic tower" Xuanyuan said as he placed the blueprint containing the design of the <Five elemental Magic tower> on the table. "I want these to be constructed in the city" Xuanyuan added.

"Constructing this Magic tower will be quite difficult even with Grandmasters around" the Head forger said. "Furthermore, the materials are quite rare and precious so we won't be able to handle too much failures" he added.

"Have you ever constructed one before?" Xuanyuan asked.

"I did construct one in a city while I roaming the realm many years back" he replied. "But though we were only able to build two towers back then, the city was successfully defended and I was only a Master forger back then" he added.

There were usually four towers in a complete Magic tower and they are placed at the four corners of the city. If only one tower was constructed out of four, there will be very certain effects and improvements to Mana density and defensive capabilities but they won't be as significant as if it were complete.

The <five elemental Magic tower> on the other hand is composed of five towers of five major elements; fire, water, wind, earth and lightning. Four of the towers will be located at the four corners of the city while the last one will be at the centre of the city...
