City wide quest

After making a few adjustments he issued out a City wide quest. At the same time every player in Jade spear holy city received a notification.

<System notification: The city lord of Jade spear holy has issued a new quest for players to join the battle against three cities. Players will be rewarded with City contribution points that can used claim various rewards after battle. Click Yes accept!>

For a moment, the city was in a uproar as the players discussed the new quest in Jade spear city. At the same time, the various players began to apply and the number of volunteers began climbing. As a Holy city, Jade spear city had more player inhabitants than the other cities so the number of player recruits was greater than that of each of the enemy cities.

Meanwhile, Xuanyuan who stood at the top of the Magic tower at the center of the city suddenly received a message that made him gaze towards the city lord's manor in surprise. The message came from Shadow empress which indicated that the Celestial overlords are back!

In less than a minute, Xuanyuan arrived back at the city lord's Manor and headed to the special training room where the Celestial overlords used to train. That was where they all agreed to gather after seven days.

As Xuanyuan opened the door and entered the room, he suddenly stretched out his palm and a Mana shield materialized instantly before him. Then a loud sound rang out as a greatsword was stopped by the shield. Snow titan, who wielded the greatsword chuckled lightly as she swung her sword at the shield breaking it completely. But Xuanyuan had long since made preparations. Without chanting, he quickly casted a spell to root Snow titan on the same spot which she casually destroyed with a single stomp which propelled her into the air as the swung her massive sword again at Xuanyuan who responded by chopping horizontally with his sword.

The collision between the two swords forced Snow titan a few steps back while Xuanyuan remained on the same spot.

Clap! Clap! Clap!

"Bravo! Titan. Still as formidable as always" Dark angel said. "You managed to trade so many blows with him. That's a record"

"He wasn't fighting seriously" Snow titan replied.

"I'm sure you didn't fight with your full strength either" he added.

"Why don't we find out?" Snow titan said as she moved towards Dark angel who hurriedly retreated.

"We are back!" Shadow empress stepped out and saluted to Xuanyuan.

"Well done" Xuanyuan nodded in acknowledgement as he scrutinized each of the Celestial overlords. Even though he knew they'll accomplish great things, he wasn't still pleasantly surprised by what he currently saw.

Snow titan didn't change her race but remained human. But her bloodline had evolved to the standard of heroes who are blessed by the Myriad Gods. But her bloodline is still quite inferior to Xuanyuan's true human bloodline. But what truly changed about her was her class. She had became a War Goddess!

There were not much information about War Goddesses in the Realm of spirituality but from the records in the library, they were known to be incredible existences that has transcended to the limits of combat. They possessed powerful combat techniques that allowed them to fight against opponents of higher tiers. A tier 3 War Goddess could even pose a great threat to tier 4 existences.

While Snow titan was undertaking her promotion quest, she miraculously stumbled upon a hidden one of a kind quest that allowed her to become a War Goddess after she passed.

Now she currently possessed various combat techniques that brought her overall ability to a whole new standard. Now she could even fight tier 4 existences as a tier 2 War Goddess...

Meanwhile, Shadow empress had used the Race change token to transform her bloodline to that of a Phantom cat. This bloodline is inferior to the Apex bloodlines like the Dragons but what made them special was their great affinity with the power of space. They were like the favoured children of space and were nigh invincible to kill because of their slippery nature. They were also able to master the principles of space quickly than other people. Some talented Phantom cats could even master an embryoni form of world manifestation even before they reached tier 4. Xuanyuan noticed that Shadow empress had already mastered this standard and could create a rather incomplete world around herself to act like a shield and conceal her. This made her a deadly Assassin.

Divine shieldbearer on the other hand, was a Guardian knight that managed to acquire the Physique of Holy knights when he stumbled upon a fortuitous encounter in the holy city. This granted a powerful physique that provided incredible boosts to his basic attributes as well as powerful holy type skills.

For Astral sword, his bloodline also evolved beyond the standard of normal players. But he'd acquired the Magic swordman class which gave him an incredible Physique that made him not any weaker than the other Celestial overlords. The Magic swordman class was one that brought out the full potential of a swordman that gave him boons in attack speed and reaction speed that allowed him to execute lightning fast strikes in a short time frame.

Dancing flame who was a Flame wizard previously had used the Race change token to change her bloodline to that of a Divine phoenix. Having acquired the body of a phoenix, she now possessed the undying phoenix flame that's said to be one of the strongest flames throughout the Realm of spirituality. The flame when cultivated to the pinnacle could even burn a world to ashes. As Dancing flame is a tier 2 wizard, her phoenix flame only rivals some tier 4 flames due to her extraordinary Mana control.

Aqua priestess on the other hand had gained the Serpent God's bloodline that possesses strong affinity with water. Individuals with the Serpent God's bloodline are blessed with boons to their basic attributes which made them nigh invincible at sea. With their spells, they could even flood an entire city.

The one who had the worst experience among the overlords during these seven days was Dark angel who had been a cursemancer which was considered as devil magic. But while exploring in Jade spear holy city, he also stumbled upon the opportunity to become a Holymancer but he had to withstand three lightning tribulations to cleanse his spirit. The lightning strikes had caused severe damage to his soul and was barely able to survive the third strike.

But after gaining the Holymancer class, he couldn't be more overjoyed. The attacks of Holymancers was one that targeted the soul. Moreover, unlike other Magical classes, they possessed incredible defense that made then difficult to kill quickly. This made them fearsome opponents to other players in game.

Meanwhile, Pure spring while facing her promotion quest activated her race change token which gave her the Archangel bloodline! Angels, in the Realm of spirituality were known to be powerful individuals with incredible life ratings that's only slightly inferior to Dragons, the most powerful race. Archangels even had life ratings that surpasses that of ordinary Dragons and rivals Divine dragons. Pure spring had acquired the Angelic body which had nine crystalline wings signifying her status as an Archangel. She also possessed Mana control at the tier 4 peak standard which made her an extraordinary existence among the overlords...
