1 Charming Devil

The lovely son of Min Ju-Eun whom she treasures dearly had a smile on his face as he looked into the mirror.

This was the first time in a few years that she saw a genuine smile on her sons face he used to fake his smiles just to make her happy, she knew he wasn't happy inside, she silently prayed that this new feeling of happiness would last forever.

Just as she ended her prayers the smile vanished, it was as if joy had 'once again' been taken away from her. She looked at her 18 year old boy who reminded her of how her husband used to look as a teenager: ' handsome beyond imagination '.

She shook off the thought not wanting to bring back her days of grief. At least she has a child she has to cater for and even though he is becoming a man, he is still her little child.

The thought of how much he had grown filled her heart, over the years they have shared a lot of memories of both happy days and times when it felt like hope had gone extinct, but somehow Ju-Eun got back on her feet not letting 'mourning her dead husband' stop her from taking good care of her son.

After Mr Park's death, she had lost all hope and fell terribly sick mentally out of grievance, so sick that the only thing keeping her alive was her son, he would smile every now and then and this was what gave her the chance of seeing each next day.

It took her a while to realize the damages done to her child, she thought he was happy until she saw his other side. she found him in the basement where she thought he goes to play, and realized that he spends all day crying his heart out.

She realized how her actions had totally taken sincere happiness away from her little child. She was blinded by her own grief and couldn't read through her own son, she felt how much distance she had created between them.

Little Park Yo-han had a picture of his father and himself that they took a week before he died in his hand, Mr Park died in a fire outbreak while trying to save people and he got trapped inside because the fire intensified and the fire department were still on the way, he could not get out of the fire on time because he had to rescue a pregnant woman.

After seeing the true side of her son and how much he was affected, she saw how strong he was, even stronger than herself . She pulled herself together and decided to spend the rest of her days trying to give him the life he had lost.

Yo-han had always hid behind his totally different personality, no matter what he still will not let his guard down before his mother, 'what does he think he is doing, fooling me!?' does he think she can't see through him ?.

He is living his life in disguises, he puts up the happy guy show in front of his mother but the moment she is away he turns cold and aloof.

Only when he is alone will he become the weak little boy.

Seeing a true smile on his face for the first time in a decade made Ju Eun willing to break his defense and help him live happily. Her journey of a thousand miles started with a simple smile.

In the end, She has to make him the happiest man on Earth.

But the end is far from now.

"Mom".

"Mom, I have been calling you for a while, I am ready to be on way, what is it that's on your mind?" Park Yo-han asked his mom with curiosity in his voice.

Min Ju Eun snapped out of her thoughts.

"Yo-han, what did you say?"

"I am ready for School and we should get going, it's your first day at work you should not be late."

"Ok let's get going". In a jiffy they were both out of the building heading to there respective destinations.

After Min Ju Eun's car drove away, Yo-han turned around and then walked up to the school gate. His usual cold character had taken over, he had a kind of aura that withdraw people from him, no one could come up to him.

He walked into the school gates and went straight to the principal's office.

On his way across the hallway, the groups of students are chatting and catching up. They've been away for a while and upon seeing themselves again, it's just normal that they chat around.

As he walked passed the crowd every started staring at him, sequentially the all started looking at him as if he was an charming devil sent from hell to torment people with his amazing looks, the girls were drooling, while be guys where full of envy, he was just too handsome.

"His that an angel?,he looks more like a fallen angel..."

"Wow did you see his eyes?, OMG, they looked like ice cold but pretty..."

"Must he be so Handsome, my eyes are gonna pop out if I keep looking."

Several other comments kept coming up. Some of the guys were already getting angry, why is he getting the spotlight all of a sudden, but his presence also scares the wit out of them, no one dares to go near.

On the other hand, this drama caught Yo-han off guard, he was certainly not expecting all eyes to be on him on his first day, he was shocked, he increased his pace and walk away in long strides trying to run away from the scene.

The news of the arrival of a god spread throughout the school, those who hadn't seen him were anticipating even though the news says he his scary they still wish to see his pretty face.
