1 Beginning
I feel chaos around me... screaming, panicking and all the unclear things happening around me... Blood, tears and fears in me, what is Happening?
"Charlotte! Charlotte! Wake up!" I woke up with my assistant Jane. "Are you okay?" she asked.
"Yes, thank you" I said still feeling something heavy inside me.
"Is it the same dream?" I nodded.
"You really needed help with a specialist. Your condition with this nightmare's getting worse." I shocked my head.
"Jane, I know pretty well that you're concern for my well-being but I already told you I'm fine I don't need any help." I said as I'm trying to sit up. Jane just sighed because she knows me pretty well and knows that nothing can change my mind.
"Yes, I truly understand you but This dream is disturbing your dreams for a long time and It's stressing you a lot even If you won't say anything to me. I'm your best friend, we grew up together so I know how you act when you're having a trouble." she said.
I sighed feeling a bit relieve from her words. "Okay, okay Ms. I know it all." I jokingly said.
"Hey, you know your silly jokes won't always solved everything. You're a Noble Lady Charlotte you can't just cope up with your stress with these silly jokes and fantasy of yours." she said as she is trying to fix my bed sheet.
I stood up and open the curtains. "Well for now that is all that I can do." I said as I look into the beautiful morning skies.
"Oh, my I never notice the sky to look this Marvelous." I said admiring the sky."
"Charlotte Marie Porcher. I'm telling you to seek help, and stop being stubborn. You're my friend, I need to take care of you when you needed help."
"Well, thank you very much but I can take care of myself" Jane just sighed and rolled her eyes.
"I can't change your mind but I'm just saying. I will bring your clothes, so just wait right here." I nodded at her and she left.
I just sat there waiting for her to get my clothes, feeling as If she is taking too long to do so, I grab the book I didn't finished reading last night and started to read it. I stared at the page full of words, being lost in the sight of wonders and drama. Feeling in the book, I didn't even notice Jane come into the room.
"Hey! Oliver, get down there!" I was startled by her voice and I didn't even notice my cat Oliver next to me.
"Awe, Hello there Oliver." I picked him up.
"Meow!! mead!!" he doesn't look happy so I just drop him off.
Jane picked up Oliver and led him outside of my room. I got out of my bed and went to the bowl next to my bed; I poured the pitcher and wash my face— Jane gave me my clothes and she help me put on my corset. I wore my chemise and my blue kirtle. I put on my necklace because I still to have to look formal in front of my parents.
After I got ready, I took a deep breath and went downstairs to greet my parents from their journey. "Jane what time is it?" Jane looks at the clock and spoke. "11:56 am." I took a deep breath and prepare myself. After waiting a little while my parents finally arrived at 12 noon. I went to my parents and bow to them. Then my mom went to hug me.
"Oh, dear I miss you dearly." I hug her back and smile a little.
"I miss you too Mother." We were just casually talking but then someone interrupted us.
"What about me?" and I already know who it was. We look behind us and saw.
"Charles!" My mom said in excitement. "I miss you dear." as my mother went to him and hug him. She then started kissing his cheeks.
"Mother! stop it!" he said holding his cheeks.
"But how can I? I miss you so much dear."
"Just let her be she misses you both so much, we haven't seen you in 3 months."
"But fathe-"
"Just listen to father. You know Mother, this is normal." I spoke.
"Ha-ha-ha yeah, this is normal." Father said.
Brother was about to reply but then he got interrupted by the cook.
"Your Grace the food is ready." Father nodded as the cook leaves.
