54 The aftermath

"You are going to tell me why you have invaded the school, otherwise I'll let the monster from earlier play with you until she gets the information out anyway."

The man was utterly defeated his eyes still staring down at the bricks and his pudgy face completely pale.

"I-i-i as-assaulted t-the s-s-school b-because I n-needed C-c-ce-cereb-cerebro"

He gulped as he finished his words his Adams apple shifting up and down as he did so. Squishing sounds echoed from behind Emelia drawing her attention away from the man. She didn't let him run away though as she chanted and covered his limbs with the earth using {Astra Domina}.

"E-Emelia? A-are you okay?"

The soft musical voice calmed me down a lot more as a small smile emerged on my face, the Deagles still in my hands as I turned. As i swivelled i saw the carnage and bloodbath that the entity in my bloodline caused, everything was dyed in blood and the skins of several humans lay strewn across the crimson washed bricks and plant life of the garden, turned horror scene. Several hearts lay empty and lifeless against the blood stained corpses of their owners.

"Yes, I am okay, I will explain this after I am done with Stryker."

Illyana looked nervous and more than a bit worried as she looked around the 'garden', she hadn't seen anything like this since her first time in Limbo and even then it wasn't as macabre as this scene she bore witness to now. 

I grimaced as i looked out at the scene again before turning back towards Stryker.

"I know your desire for Cerebro, what i want to know is why the President agreed to this little raid..."

There was silence as the man didn't speak, he simply stared down at the ground. His Adams Apple once again shifting with a large swallow of saliva. His body limply stood there being held by several thick strands of earth.

"Ohhh, so you didn't get permission... You naughty boy, well i suppose I'll just have to go visit him and tell him of your misdeeds and the fact that you almost declared war on all of the mutants, without his permission."

Stryker started to quiver at my words as a wetness began to move down the front of his pants until it started to dribble onto the floor, creating a sickly yellow pool of piss.

'He's disgustingly pathetic... Wait, why am i getting used to this?'

[You are a Nephilim, you have TRUE evil within you and TRUE good as well, you will find that the more you use those sides of you the more you will be able to accept. It will shape you, mould your morals and make you a TRUE Nephilim.]

'That is slightly concerning but i suppose we all have these little issues to deal with in life.'

'Oh yeah, by the way sis, you can continue to do the sounds... I apologise for earlier i kinda got annoyed at you unjustly.'

[Yes! Apology accepted, thanks sis!]

"Now that this threat is over i don't think we need the shield anymore."

With a wave of my hand i lowered the transparent yellowish blue shield that had surrounded the school before. I then started to cast {Psycheclairvoyant Liberatus} and soon began to broadcast my thoughts towards Xavier, his response coming quickly after.

`Thank you very much Emelia I'll pass the message along to bring the students back.`

`Yeah no problems, don't bring them back through the front entrance... It's too bloody for children to look at.`

`Okay, no issue... Oh yes, we have found Nightcrawler. He's in an abandoned church in Texas called St Lucia's hall.`

`All good, I'll visit there when you guys are all safe, I'll reactivate the shield when we assemble a team to take Stryker's documents from his desk in Washington DC and to destroy his underground facility.`

`No issues, I'll be going now.`

I had stared down at the ground towards Cerebro for a little while causing Illyana to come up beside me grabbing my shoulders.

"Sorry Illyana, i was just speaking with Xavier, telling him it was safe..."

"It's perfectly fine Emelia, come on, let's put this guy in lock up then we'll discuss things."

A couple hours later everyone had finally been brought back into the school, the unconscious men teleported to a nearby military base, naked. With my help and the creation of a new magic called: {Reconstructio}, we were able to repair the broken windows and walls around the house, restoring the relatively peaceful and lavish atmosphere of the school.

We had all started to settle down and I was currently in the briefing room with the eyes of every X-men on me. I felt a little unsettled by the piercing stares i was receiving but decided to ignore the feeling, i had seen way too much today and this wasn't even a scratch in my emotions. Illyana stood right next to me, holding my hand, whilst Jean looked at me with a hint of concern marring her beautiful face.

'Who cares, i want both of them...'

[🎶 Sweet Caroline, bum, bum, bum🎶]

'Uh huh, don't care, plus i don't think Illyana would care if i had multiples, she's seen way too much shit to care.'

There was an awkward coughing noise as Jean decided to try and break up the extended silence. 

"So, where do we start... What are you? Are you a mutant or an alien or something else?"

That question came from Cyclops as his face was scrunched up a bit in frustration, the attack obviously making him feel weak in comparison to Emelia.

"Well, it's not really a long story but you will be surprised..."
