"Auuuuugh"
I yawned as I sat up in my bed. I stretched somewhat as I finished my yawn, the sleepiness still not fully vacated from my mind or body. Looking around the room I soon stood up and started to do my morning beauty treatment, mainly having a shower and brushing my hair.
When i finished with my morning toiletries and beauty session I finally stepped out of the room, my invisibility activated before I even left the room. Slowly after leaving I weaved my way through the halls of the hotel making my way towards where I knew Tony and Pepper were staying.
I could have teleported but that seems uncouth especially since they could be having relations.
Last night I was half expecting Illyana to come to my bedroom for some 'fun' but it seems she never intended to do that. I had considered it was because she was shy but it could also be because we just met. I don't know, maybe she has had bad experiences.
As I was in quiet contemplation many guests and staff walked the halls. The halls themselves were made of some of the finest woods and marbles, the halls practically gleaming with luxury and pizazz. Four doors were present in each hallway with beautiful soft lighting cascading from the roof of the hallway to the bottom.
I turned to my left into another hallway, except this time I saw Illyana talking with Tony and Pepper just outside of their room. She seemed to be holding multiple documents and mainly listening than actually talking with the two.
I closed in on the group and began listening to their conversation.
"Listen Illyana you shouldn't put too much trust in that woman. Despite her protecting me and having a mission to protect me she can't be trusted... We don't know who she is working for and why they want to save me."
She nodded slightly. Their conversation was rather hushed but my hearing more than compensated for the 'discretion' they had. It seemed as if they still had some trust issues. Although, this didn't sound like something Tony would say in the open hallway.
'Hmm, I don't think that is Tony.'
I encroached closer to their conversation, trying to notice anything off about Tony and Pepper. Their expressions were even and unemotional, that was unhuman if I've ever saw it, not to mention the fact that their body language didn't seem natural for either Pepper or Tony.
'Sis hasn't warned me about Tony or Pepper being in danger... Meaning that whoever or whatever these things are, they aren't them.'
I got right behind Illyana and within a moment pulled her back and stood in front of these creatures revealing myself, except for my face.
"Hello not Tony and not Pepper... May I inquire why you are trying to persuade your own secretary not to get close to me when you two have already gotten close to me? Or should I say, the REAL Tony and Pepper have gotten close to me."
They didn't even take time to attack me they simply tried to run as fast as they could. Which apparently was very fast as they started to leap off of walls with unhuman strength and agility.
"Not on my watch you disgusting shape changers."

I used Spatial Unveiling and Elemental Mastery in conjunction so that I can see what my enemies are. What I saw stunned me as the form of these things was revealed before me. They were long gangly creatures with silver-like skin and red phosphorescent eyes. They looked like something straight from the fey wild in DND.
With my elemental mastery I stretched the ground beneath their feet to come up and grasp them, simultaneously I plunged the surrounding area into smoke so that no one would freak out. My earthen bindings found purchase easily on their legs as they struggled against their restraints. I soon piled more restraints on top of them before dragging them in front of me, I still payed attention to where Illyana was behind me as i felt some movement within the smoke.
Relatively easily I returned the earthen bindings to where they used to be and physically held onto the napes of these creatures. I then turned me, Illyana and these creatures invisible before teleporting all of us into Tony and Pepper's room.
When we arrived there was the sound of a kettle being boiled and some vague talking just past the room I had ported us into. Illyana seemed rather calm with all of this as she simply held onto the back of my dress looking down at the creatures that i had captured with some hatred in her eyes and expression.
'Hmm, she's not even concerned about teleporting. Maybe there is more to her than meets the eyes.'
[Mhm, maybe.]
I stopped looking at Illyana as I began dragging the creatures towards the sound of Tony and Pepper's voices. When I got there I saw both of them dressed in formal clothing and having a few cups of coffee.
I dropped invisibility on my group as I threw the creatures down on the floor in front of me.
"See, this is why you need me around."
The creatures were squirming and trying to get away again, that was before I used Elemental mastery again and tied them down using the marble from the kitchen bench. Tony and Pepper turned in shock as they witnessed themselves writhing on the floor in an effort to be rid of their bindings.
"Emelia? What is this?"
"What is this? I found them trying to tell Illyana what to do and to not trust me... I don't know what they had said before i got there but it seemed that whatever it was, it wasn't good."
'Sis, make a magical spell, separate from Astra Domina. I want it to be able to peer into the minds of other people and detect mind control, brainwashing and other such issues and then be capable of possibly removing those things.'
[Yes sis sure... It will take away 25,000 Mana and 100 Nen again. It will also cost you 1000 Diamonds due to the variety of affects you want it to have.]

"Illyana, do you mind if I check your mind for the influence of these creatures?"
A shocked look appeared on her face before she started to shake her head constantly. I cocked my head to the side somewhat at her reaction.
"Please I need to do it to check if you are being mind controlled. If you are saying no because of privacy concerns you have my word I will not attempt to look into your past."
Tears started to come to her eyes, her expression looking lost as Tony and Pepper had sad looks on their faces. I was starting to feel like what I was asking was the worst possible thing I could do to her.
'Why am I the bad one for trying to be certain she isn't controlled?'
[I don't know, don't ask me.]
"U-um, is there something wrong with my request Tony? Pepper?"
"Not at usually but she has a unique history that would be painful for her if she saw it again."
"Oh, a trauma... I-if its such an issue, the spell I was about to use has a healing effect on mental traumas and outside influences within the mind. Maybe I could help in that regard as well?
You could hear a pin drop in this room when I finished what I wanted to say, the silence was that deafening.
'OK! Can someone tell me what the fuck is going on!?'
