42 Quests Complete, Illyana trapped?
The door disappeared as Tony and Pepper came over to Illyana who was completely still, eyes blank white. In a panic, as I noticed this, I rushed over almost diving to her side as I started to use my psychic powers on her. Before I could even start however my body buzzed and my senses increased by a lot. I felt the protrusion of another set of wings forming on my back. Within seconds the second set of black, white and crimson wings unfolded creating a larger 'V' behind my head.

My psychic energy started to seep into her mind and link mine and hers. My energy was stopped halfway however by a massive dark shadow entity with rows of shark-like teeth jutting from its body.

Bright radiant light began to suffuse the abyss of darkness surrounding me as the creature began to screech in pain. I shot my hands forwards as the energy focused and sprayed from them as if my hands were the barrel of a gun.
Several moments passed as the creature screamed in pain and torture, its form distorting and bending until it popped. What appeared next stunned me. A small white substance leaked from the body of the creature and moved towards me. Trying to back away i noticed it getting faster, I continued to evade until eventually I couldn't and the white phased through my chest. I felt happy and full, as if i had just eaten a meal with my family back on my original Earth.
'What is this?'

Following her advice I started to go deeper into the abyssal darkness, my gut feeling being that the deeper I go the more likely I am to find Illyana. My travels continued on like that for several minutes until I slammed straight into a mental barrier of pure grey. Frustratingly I attempted to tear it open only to be rebuffed and flung back from it. I used my psychic spells again but it had no affect on the shield. I started circling the dome only to notice that there wasn't any doorway or gap in its defences, up, down or side to side.
'Fuck!'
'Maybe the sorceress supreme can help!'
An idea came to me on the spur of the moment and I decided to retreat from the space.
I awoke next to the unconscious body of Illyana, her eyes now closed as Pepper sat next to her crying her eyes out, Tony standing behind her with his right hand on her shoulder. It was at this moment that I felt people starting to sweep through the race course, they had S.H.I.E.L.D logos on their tactical equipment.
"They are late again... Anyway, Tony, Pepper I'm going to take her to the sorceress supreme, maybe she can help more than I can."
Pepper was a touch despondent as I spoke with Tony being the only one nodding. He pulled her back away from Illyana as he hugged her from behind. As soon as they got far enough away I used instantaneous travel and reappeared within the confines of the inner sanctum of Kamar-Taj with Illyana in tow.
As soon as I started waiting for The Ancient One more notifications started to pop up.

The bald sorceress walked out from around a corner, her robes muddied and her expression tired. Her walk was somewhat stunted as she limped from one leg.
"Sorceress? What happened?"
"Oh this?"
She looked at her robes a grimaced slightly.
"I was just entertaining an extradimensional being who sought to manipulate the fracturing of the timeline to his own benefit."
"um, okay, well could I get some help here please?"
She hurried over as quickly as she could before kneeling down beside Illyana her eyes glowing green somewhat as the eye of agamoto was fully open at her neck. her expression strained somewhat as the green film of energy covered her eyes momentarily before coming back to their usual colour.
"She will not be able to be cured by me... This involves Limbo and Limbo is a purely spiritual place. Psychic energy is the main factor there and i am afraid that in my condition i would not be able to help."
"O-okay, maybe we can wait till you are better..."
She grimaced again as she awkwardly shifted her body. Her grimace turned into a sympathetic lowering of her eyes and a defeated look coming over her face.
"Unfortunately she does not have long... She has put off the battle too long and her foe has gained in power. It will not be long now."
'No, this can't be happening... Nope, won't allow it. Do I have to use my coupon?'
[There is the person who helped put up the shield around that segment of power.]
'Shit I didn't think of that... That has to be Xavier! Fuck it, don't care about consequences, let's go.'
"Sorceress supreme, I'm-"
"Oh! intriguing, my sight is truly inaccurate now... Go, go to him, make sure you aid him in whatever way you can."
'She's actively looking into the future as its happening... She needs rest.'
"Rest sorceress, you need sleep and some relaxation, do not strain yourself too much with an already floundering timeline."
With those final words I disappeared once again, my muscles ached and my brain hurt from all of the stimulation of today's events. I was left to contemplate with the second it took to teleport.
'Why has the timeline collapsed, or is collapsing?'
'What is causing it?'
'Are my powers meant to stop it?'
'I don't know... all I know is that I don't want this woman to die. Not when she is that pure, innocent and cute.'
