339 Moving Onwards with United Strength

After my making my little munchkins food and sending them off to school I grabbed some of my women, now juiced up by the recent evolution in existence, to help me in some things. I had quite a bit to do today and most of it was relating to spreading our influence in 40k.

In stead of teleporting to my ships straight away I decided to take a small detour towards one of the training academies. The city itself was beautifully grand with white, gold, black, green and blue making up a unique skyline view. Advanced technological protrusions and systems jutted out from buildings in natural ergonomic ways whilst simultaneously a constant aura of history swept through the designs of many buildings. It was as if one were looking at a futuristic interpretation of Medieval, Renaissance and Gothic architecture.

Millions of people walked and ventured out into the city for various jobs and ventures, the city itself feeling like a pulsating heart of civilisation. It had honestly been a long time since I had stopped to see what we had accomplished, the stop started to make me feel like I had done something good. Selene, Jean and Hela were walking with me, their eyes also surveying our domain. They were all beautiful women but as of this moment it felt like they were truly a part of me, an inseparable aspect to my existence. Jean pointed out some distant building that she remembered used to be different, the building now a four-hundred story behemoth dedicated to the agricultural means of Atlantis. Flying cars whizzed past in the sky as holographic pathways were projected from numerous tall buildings, these buildings now including landing bays and observation decks for Flying car access. Society had truly changed under the advancements and the people were harmonious and kind.

If some one would fall and drop hundreds of papers everyone around them would come and help, shrugging off the inconvenience to their own lives and actions. Mutants walked freely amongst High Humans as Inhumans did much the same, couples even forming between the three separate types of humans.

Twi'leks could be seen walking alongside humans in sparse amounts as the newly allied Asgard from the Stargate Multiverse took some time to understand our culture, openly. The Asgardians were truly befuddled and awed by the society I had created, and the sheer scale of the structure we had managed to implement. My people were a little stunned at the small grey men but quickly came to accept them as they were civilised and caused no issues. There was still a little mistrust but that would be cured in time. Moving on we reached a personal car platform where my personal guards were awaiting us. Much like the American President of the past I had a security detail, mainly made of my 'Death Guard' and the Shield Operatives in the walls, which i assumed there was naturally always one Shield agent around.

The car I was entering was almost like a flying tank. Its blackened windows and similarly coloured exterior dampened all light and gave no sight on the people inside the flying car. I held the door open for my wives, pushing aside one of the bell boys, my women giving me lovely smiles as they stepped into the car. Once my women were in I looked to the boy and tossed him one thousand dollars, enough for a basic car of his own. He looked ecstatic and bowed heavily, his hands shaking as he did so.

"Don't use it on anything illegal... Now, be off with you." He nodded and ran away, tears flittering down his eyes as he looked very happy. Little did i know that I had just saved his family from the depths of poverty. The economy had been reformed so that money had its actual value and not the inflated bullshit of the past. 

Sitting down inside the car we drank some wine and had some snacks whilst talking about some harmless topics, mainly with relation to the kids and their education. It was going well with all of them now knowing how to teleport and create sorcery circles. This unfortunately had lead to many situations where my children had created infinite juice cups and summoned food from nowhere. I laughed at the stories my wives were telling me, they were hilarious some of them, especially when one of my kids emerged inside the Shield building only to paint a large dick on the side of one of their ships. Angelo, i knew it was him... I was so proud.

Ten to twenty minutes passed like this as we eventually entered into the military academy district. On the grounds of the school were thousands of children from the ages of 12 to 18, all of them in perfect uniforms and formed into a large parade formation, my staff obviously informing them of my imminent visit. No doubt that is why it took so long for me to get there, we took the long way. I looked at my driver, the man looking out the side of his window as we came to a halt. 

'Tch... Now I have to do some bullshit...' 

Stepping out of the car, my wives exiting after me, I was greeted by the thunderous sound of thousands upon thousands of boots clapping together at attention as well as the sight of these numerous people all saluting with an arm held out in front of them.

"Flag company! Present...Now!" A separate group of young future soldiers raised the flags of the Veritas Imperium, their branch of the military and the Pegasus of Atlantis. It all looked very professional, the entirety of the young people looking extremely disciplined. Striding forwards in utter confidence I quickly phased into my Military Uniform, the sight making some cadets go wide eyed. I was now in a perfectly ironed, pressed and polished military uniform. It was pitch black with silver lining and metallic elements, golden embroidered chains flowing from my right shoulder down to the middle buttons of my uniform. On my head was a cap not too dissimilar to an American officer's parade cap, except it had a large Pegasus as the symbol in the middle of the cap, entirely made of silver.

The entire parade ground was silent as me and my wives approached, my wives staying the same within their beautiful flowing red dresses. Arriving on an already arranged podium, the General of the Academy meeting me with a hand shake as I reached the stage. Turning to the assembled cadets I walked up behind the podium and began to create magical speakers around the massive courtyard.

"I am Impressed by all of your efforts and your discipline, you are obviously the best of the best and it shows to not only me but the rest of the world. Hold your heads up high to the rest of the galaxy and the Multiverse, for you are the best of the best!"

They stayed silent, maintaining proper parade etiquette, despite their intense emotions. All of them were excited, joyful or even downright elated at the praise i had directed at them. Stopping my words for a while to let the last one's effects wear off i soon picked back up with a more serious tone.

"But, that doesn't not justify sloppiness or any lack of effort. We are Humans, we make mistakes and have made terrible decisions in the past, and despite all our best attempts we must acknowledge that we are capable of such mistakes, despite the progress we have made. We must be ever vigilant of our own arrogance! It festers within and throughout like a leech on society! We must KILL arrogance! Only when it has become but a part of our imaginations and the annals of history, shall we be truly victorious! So learn! Adapt! Overcome! Dominate! AND, become the epitome of the word HUMAN!"

The cadets couldn't hold themselves any more and began to roar out in understanding and excitement, the flames of youth igniting furiously under the ever risen flag of the Veritas Imperium and Humanity.

'United we stand... Divided we fall... Words to live by.'
