345 Inquisition Done Fucked Up

The entirety of Humanity on Terra held their minds as the voice of their God Emperor echoed in the smallest recesses of their minds. Buildings lightly shook as vibrations from his psychic presence made the very reality around terra quake in fear somewhat. I was just standing there, behind the Custodes, resisting the urge to laugh my ass off at the Inquisitor's expression.

Looking down at the floor with sweat dripping from his face in copious amounts a rather opulent and refined Inquisitor was kneeling, his every bone in his body crying out in pain. Behind him the scene of the Inquisitorial Assassin squad shaking on the floor below the feet of my Selene. The scene made me a little turned on. Beside my women was Guilliman who looked utterly tired of life, his expression becoming one of utter disdain soo after as he gazed scornfully at the dumbass Inquisitor. 

The only reason the Inquisitor had gotten past was because the assassin squad had provided cover for the split second it took to activate the mechanisms and enter the small gap in the now opening door. Guilliman stepped into the room, seeing a vague figure resembling the past visage of his father soon after. His eyes narrowed and his hands clenched slightly but he soon released the anger inside of him and let it go, looking at me in mild surprise due to the Custodes defending me. I gave him a wide grin as I walked out in front of the Custodes and walked out into plain view of the Emperor.

"As I was saying... We'll save Sanguinius now, save some more Primarchs so that the Military advantage comes to us and then I'll start exploring ways to restore your body."

The figure nodded before looking towards Guilliman. Emotions so thick in density that it made me widen my eyes emerged from the depths of the Emperor's soul fragments. Some were purely logical, some desperate, some completely filled with pride and happiness and a vague few that held no specific care. It was confusing but ultimately I understood that this was the various Druids that had combined to make the Emperor as everyone knew him, now that he was splintering there were more signs of their previous existence.

Sadness radiated from my heart at the emotions and I closed my eyes to stop myself from crying, such were the strength of the emotions. Gathering myself once more I turned to look at the Inquisitor, the Emperor now looking at him too, frustration and anger flowing out somewhat from Emps. The incompetence of his forces seemed to be pissing him off more and more.

"Son... Clean the Inquisition out... Work with Lion El'Jonson."

Guilliman nodded, my wives following in afterwards as they looked at the Emperor and then at me, their expressions becoming worried as they felt my emotions at this current stage. They were mildly reflecting the Emperor's. Feeling my wives walking up to me and hugging me a smile delicately crept onto my face as I hugged them back.

The Inquisitor continued to struggle as Guilliman stepped up to him, grasping him by the hair and dragging him away.

"Come with me, it is a bout time that we clean you and your associates up."

I laughed a little at the defeated expression on the Inquisitor as he was dragged away. 'Great, now with the Inquisition away from me I can safely go around and help Emps and also myself.'
