216 Finishing up the Q&A

Following that we took a quick break before coming back in thirty minutes, during this small break I had some juice, ate and spent time with my women, taking care of them as well. We were getting close to the 9 month limit of pregnancy and it was showing as we all were much more hangry and writhing in hormones. I of course didn't allow the hormones to affect me much as I only allowed those that would actually help with connecting to the babies once they were born. I had decided on some names after cruising on the internet and asking around on some websites but decided to leave it as a surprise on the day. Funnily enough all of my children were girls so, I had to give them cute names.

After those thirty minutes were up I went up to the podium once more. It was time for them to ask all sorts of questions and I had given them thirty minutes to formulate them.

"Thank you all for the understanding of allowing a thirty minute break, it is not easy for a pregnant woman."

There was silence in the room until they all exclaimed in various ways. I laughed a little at their reactions. A lot of the women looked at my sympathetically whilst the men looked at me in respect. It seems a lot of the men in this room could be said to represent the Chad Meme. Yes, you heard me, the Chad meme. Since the Internet had spread to the whole planet the culture was amassing at a blazing speed and all sorts of innovations, memes, jokes, music and other things were constantly being shared.

"Okay, now that has been finished please, let's continue."

Countless hands were raised, the guy who had spoken out earlier saying that it checks out, was one of them so i decided to choose him.

"Please ask away."

"In relation to the internet and gaming, Mrs President, could you please give us your vision of the future of gaming, television shows, movies and the internet as a whole?"

"Certainly. As you know I have openly bought multiple shows and right for franchises, some being Star Wars, Firefly and The Witcher. With regards to the movies and television shows I will say that I am planning on respecting all of the works of the authors and to make faithful representations of those stories, as much as possible. For this I have hired Mark Hamill, Luke Skywalker, to direct, act and run Star Wars as a whole with aid from other people within the set of course. Henry Cavill for the Witcher, playing as Geralt and producing the entire show. Then in Firefly we have the original cast and a huge Atlantean production team working on the show, hopefully making it as faithful to the core ideas of the show."

I took a little break and had a drink before coming back in.

"As for Gaming... I have huge plans for it. Firstly Atlantis was the one to offer free internet connection to all people across the globe."

That caused some gasps and more pictures to be taken as Asmongold, the streamer who had originally asked the question was unphased and had already expected it. Even the heads of state were a bit rattled by the reveal but chose not to say anything.

"That system is a part of a greater system that we plan to implement in the near future, called Oasis. Oasis is simply a world on top of our world. It is a virtual space where people can be whatever they want, touch, smell, sight, hearing, it is all integrated with this technology. And, the greatest part about the technology is that to you eight hours of time has passed inside the game but in reality you have only spent an hour in real life."

That caused all of the nation leaders to blanche, the reporters went wild and even Asmongold was a little shook, his eyes beaming at the idea of being a Beta tester or even Alpha tester of this technology.

"Now, this has a lot to do with gaming because we plan to implement this same system into games. You could actually be the warrior in a fantasy game, cleaving enemies with your word, you could be the special forces operative within a game. You would have complete and utter control."

"Along with this I have been developing some massive changes to games that give a massive amount of variety and options to choose from. Every little action of yours could wind up affecting the story. You kill hostages in a FPS game it could lead to you losing XP as a whole and being demoted... The possibilities are endless. As of now I am planning to expand this VR technology to everyone around the world and release the games, these games being included in the purchase of said VR headset. You can choose what games you want to play when you but the VR headset and it will come fully preinstalled. If you want more games added to your headset, easy, we have a store or you can, in future, come to one of our businesses and personally request a game, paying money and getting instant access. Think of it like Steam but for our games and much more friendly to its customers."

Everyone was silent as I continued, finishing up my small speech.

"As for the internet, i will not interfere in the day to day running of the internet I will mainly just stop any illegal activity and make sure that information isn't being rewritten or destroyed."

As i finished a roaring applause appeared from the entire crowd as they were blown away by the idea of the VR World and extension of time. The impacts this could have on the world would be massive, revolutionary and generation spanning. Imagine a humanity that has an 80-100 year life time getting an extra 640 years worth of experiences, knowledge, learning and socializing. Imagine the power of that species after that amount of learning. That was what was being offered to Humanity at this stage and it wasn't even the end as they could see that she wasn't finished. Many thoughts that day centred around whether she was a saint sent to get Humanity into the stars.

A doctor stood up and immediately wanted to ask a question as i finished drinking, knowing that it would be coming I let him ask his question.

"What about the storage capacity of the brain!? It can't handle the 600 years plus of information, not to mention the degradation of the human body after a while that could happen due to this!"

"I understand your worries, I have been looking into this myself. You are in fact wrong about the human brains storage, we do not retain knowledge per say but accumulate references which is then collated to other references that create an over all memory. These references can be lost and regained over and over again, new ones gained and old ones lost... Think of it, there must be something you are unable to remember or something you used to do that you can't really currently, we've all had that."

Many people sat down again and nodded as the reporters went back to taking notes and recording.

"Now for the degradation of the human body and especially the mind, we have incorporated materials and technology into the headsets that maintains health and even boosts the operation power and longevity of the human brain. I cannot go into specifics as it is a government secret but I will let you know that it won't be an issue."

"Now for another question!"

Another person stood up, this time a beautiful woman with blonde hair and blue eyes.

"Mrs President, I was wondering, what are your plans for the world now that you are technically the one true superpower?"

"I wish to bring happiness, expansion, innovation and stability to all peoples across Earth. I would prefer to do it with my following leaders but if they get in the way there is the possibility of me having to do something."

"Was that a threat Mrs President?"

"A promise. If you do not put the needs of Humanity above your own petty needs, as leaders, you have no place at the top and in this new Multiverse. We will face untold threats from multiple different areas, run into eldritch entities much more powerful and darker than you can imagine. There are races and species out there that are fully united and work collectively towards a greater goal, basically space Communism and Fascism. There are entire universes out there where there is only war and the hungry laughter of thirsting gods... So, yes, it is a promise. Cross Humanity and you shall be destroyed."

At this I drew my aura out and charged it with killing intent, enough to shake everyone to their cores for a little while. Everyone was squirming a little under the fierce aura as several leaders paled in fright, the only ones to resist it being the Russian Leader, the President of the USA, Asmongold and the Blonde-haired beauty.

'Interesting, they've felt this before, Asmongold is fine because he's probably seen much worse whilst the presidents have probably toughened themselves to the point that they can order men to their deaths. The reporter is the unique one, maybe she had killed someone?'

I drew back my aura and made it fade away a little as everyone else in the room breathed in deeply and wiped the sweat all of their bodies had accumulated.

"Now, i have time for one last question."

Everyone rose their hands but I decided to take the US President's question.

"Yes Mr President?"

"You say that you will work with us, what does this mean? Are you going to form a world government and take us all into a global government or are you talking about cooperation on a nation by nation basis?"

"Good question. I would prefer to form a world government as it would ensure the integrity of Humanity's cooperation and ensure equal and balanced operation across the planet. The way i would do this is to make all of you leaders be elected as usual by the people and to run your individual 'countries' or states. You will all be on a world council that is under me within the government. This ensures that I am understanding the will of the people and can be stopped if i become a tyrant."

'Not really, they couldn't fucking touch me if they tried but this makes them feel better.'

"Also, you will still have a say on how your countries are run and operated but global law will enforce you to do certain things, so long as it is of benefit to your people. These laws could not be changed unless the entire council agrees and the people of Earth vote for this change in an amount equal to 70% or greater in favour of the change."

"Aren't you concerned that this could be taken as you being the dictator of the world and its people?

"Yes, i am aware that it could be seen in this way. In some ways they are correct, however, it is very different as I will have a lot of checks and balances, and a literal world filled of people to go against if I overstep. The issues of a despotic rule are possible but are needed to be taken considering the situation we find ourselves in."

"Mmm, could we have time to think of this and run referendums to also see the people's opinions?"

"Of course, i have no issue with that, as I have said, honesty and integrity are main parts of my being. Do what you need to do and Inform me of the results."

"Now... I will not be running press conferences in the future and will pass this off to my press secretary, Pixel, one of my wives."

Pixel stepped forwards and waved a little, the cuteness disarming a lot of people in the room. I chuckled a little at the crowd and Pixel.

'This is going to be very easy to get them to chill the fuck out.'

"I will see you all later and hope that you all enjoy what I bring to Humanity in the future!"

With that I stepped back with my wives and walked off stage, some small amount of music coming on; Enya.
