101 Faith Hath Been Bestowed Upon the Goddess Divine

Once i finished in the cruiser i began to send it back to the hive, i teleported into the sky below the cruiser as it set off towards the stratosphere and beyond. My wings were spread wide, gliding myself down to the level of the people i had just saved.

I got closer and soon noticed people getting down on their hands and knees, praying, shouting aloud about the goddess of destruction and creation or something such. Their words reached my ears, amplified by the amount of people doing it. I could feel a power well up within me as a feeling akin to getting water after being in a desert without it spread.

[Ding! Deification process equals: 5%]

'So that is what it was...'

I landed softly on the ground of the village, the countless people who now seemingly believed in me kneeling and reaching out with their hands, tears sometimes smattering their faces. To be completely honest it felt really weird to gain the devotion of people like this...

'Ugh, it seems so weird to have them act like this when just a few hours ago i was another random stranger.'

[Get used to it... You are already on the path to godhood.]

'Uhuh...'

[Ding! Completed Hidden Mission: Send a Signal!]

[Rewards x2: 2 Controlled Human-form Replicators, 1 Ancient Battleship, 10 ZPMs]

The presence of these rewards made themselves known to me as they were placed into stasis within my Multiversal inventory. I was a bit stunned but decided to wait to deal with those things once I dealt with Teyla's people.

"Please stand, i do not need people to kneel to me."

Reluctantly the people stood up, dusting off their knees and hands as they did so. Teyla looked absolutely stunned by my earlier display and by the fact that she was teleported such a distance instantly. I could feel her emotions becoming bogged down under the weight of her own worries so i decided to pat her on the shoulder before walking to the centre of the makeshift circle the crowd had made.

There was silence as they expected me to make some sort of announcement.

"I understand that you all live in fear of the Wraith and their overwhelming power..."

Many people nodded whilst some looked down ashamedly, as if they were to blame for not standing up against the Wraith. I scanned the crowd feeling numerous feelings well up and switch to anger and pain.

"I would like to offer you a deal... I am the owner of Atlantis, the city your ancestors used to live in. I am inviting you all to live in the city, there will be rules and places you can't go but you will be able to live a much better life in safety from the Wraith."

They all listened with rapt attention, the expressions amongst the crowd constantly changing and adapting. Some of them weren't convinced and soon walked away back to their hovels. Those that stayed all started to sent their children and loved ones off to grab the things they hold precious.

"Emelia, we would be happy to accept this offer of great kindness, considering how far you went to save us from the Wraith we will trust in your words." It was Teyla who spoke up, her body language giving away her excitement at the offer i had given them.

I withdrew my wings and stopped straining my Nen and Mana as much, my eyes returning to normal soon after i did that. I had returned to a human-looking version of myself. I smiled at them all as i waited for them all the to pack up.

[Now that you have finished there i'd like you to consider using your evolution tickets.]

'How do they even work?'

[Well you currently have 'Evo' tickets for 2 skills, 2 titles, 1 for Passive and one final one for species. These tickets will be able to evolve current skill, titles, passives, etc into great more powerful abilities, or, alter them so that they affect different area entirely. Once you have chosen to go through with the ticket it will spin a pinwheel for the direction of evolution, very much like the pinwheel you used at the very beginning. Once it lands you can choose to accept the evolution or reject it, if you reject it the ticket is wasted, if you agree to the evolution the chosen item starts to evolve.]

'That sounds very much like a gacha system... I like it... Okay, let's do a title ticket, i select the Galactic Explorer title.'

<Ding! Loading computations... Achieved!>

[You ready to gamble?]

'Mhm.'

A huge pin wheel was summoned in my mind space, the same exact one that I had used at the beginning except it had Evolutionizer 6969 on the side of it. 'Seriously who makes these twisted naming conventions?'

[Okay Mrs. Techno-mystic Enchant-Forge Suit...]

'Ahum, that is just a cool name.'

As we bantered a bit the wheel finally started spinning. There were various sections, one in relation to 'Power', one to 'Endurance', 'Magic', 'Technology', 'Skills', 'Skill Devouring', 'Leadership', etc... The pointer in the middle of the large pinwheel whooshed along at faster than sound speeds until eventually it slowed down over the Power sections; one of the largest sections.

[There you go, the evolution, if you allow it to take place, will enhance your power in some way.]

'It's a bit random and unrefined isn't it?'

[Yes, but its very effective if you have a large amount of Luck... Shit, i wasn't supposed to say that...]

'Ara Ara, there is a luck stat? Why are you hiding it from me Little sis? Could it be that you have more hidden from me?'

[N-no, why would i hide it... *Looks away nervously*]

'I see... Maybe it is time for more Dora the Explorer...'

[P-p-please! A-anything but that!]

I switched off the music as she cried out in suffering, her crying momentarily stopping with the ceasing of the music.

[Big sis...?]

'I don't wish to hurt you, but if your going to hide things from me and be like this i have no choice... Now, tell me what you know and I won't put on the song...'

[O-o-okay big sis, but, please, don't be mad, he forced me... 🥶]

'Who? WHO DARES!?'

[The one who 'sent' you here... He isn't a god, he just found the System and me. He beat me and tortured me for centuries... I-i couldn't stop him, the system, it couldn't fight back... All because of some STUPID protocol. H-he put me in the void between multiverses for millions of years only to bring me back to his reality and torture me for fun, its all in the name of fun for him... No matter who he hurts... It is all fun. 😥]

'That fucker... I felt something was off, i just accepted it in the moment because i was dead and wasn't thinking straight... Little sis, i won't hurt you anymore, here you can have some of your cool music.'

After that i played some soothing Enya for my little sister who was completely depressed. I could feel there was a lot she wasn't able to speak on due to some sort of seal or something of the type and i wasn't willing to hurt her more now that i know 'he' had done horrid things to her.

'Just you wait fucker... I will amass an unbelievably powerful force that you will be incapable of defending yourself from, sundering you from existence, your soul trapped and tortured for all eternity just to quench my little sisters' pain. You shall only know the laughter of eldritch gods and the feeling of your own blood and innards.'

I could feel the presence of Wrath billow out from every inch of my being as the other Sins and even Virtues joined the chorus. Chaos is what i would ascribe to my emotions right now. I felt everything, from pain and sadness to anger and indifference at his supposed power. It was a cluster fuck but this apparently stirred the Virtues and Sins i hadn't unlocked yet.

[You have unlocked the Virtue of Love/Charity, The virtue of Patience, The Virtue of Diligence and begrudgingly, The Virtue of Chastity... You have also unlocked Gluttony, Sloth, Envy and Pride.]
