27 Awkward Introductions, S.H.I.E.L.D?
"Yeah, that's good and all but you just appeared out of no where and started fighting that guy? Who is he? Why are you fighting him?"
I sighed a little as I calmed down my Aura back into a Ten state. I quickly surveyed my surroundings as I noticed all the minion's of whoever that guy was, were currently keeping completely silent and non-moving.
"If I said that I was sent on a mission by someone of import to Earth, to save you, would you believe me?"
"I would, most likely, who is this 'someone'?"
"That is for that 'someone' to answer themselves sometime in the future or maybe never."
I couldn't see the expression beneath his mask as he still was fully equipped in his Iron Man suite. The buzzing of mechanical parts and electrical components within the suite adding an interesting undertone to his voice every time he speaks.
"God, this isn't times to play games lady... Who is the guy that attacked me?"
"Don't know, no clue."
I felt like he was slightly grinding his teeth under that helmet as his head dropped minutely. I slightly began dusting myself off as some of the powdered cement from my previous exchanges were caking my dress.
'I have to get armour of some kind.'
[Noted again sis.]
'It's not combat anymore you can speak normally.'
[Oh I can, I'm just sitting back and watching your convo with Stark...]
Just as I felt that Tony was going to ask something more I heard the sustained rocketry of another Iron Man suite. I looked over through the hole in the side of the research lab waiting for this new presence to present itself. Thirty seconds passed before I saw a blue and silver Iron Man suite. The suite was more feminine and the armaments completely different from what I could tell from the outside.
I also started to hear sirens and choppers in the air above the mansion.
"Shit, I don't like all this attention, I'm going to blur my face okay?"
Tony's face mask lifted up revealing his masculine jawline and small amount of stubble. Brown eyes looked out at me from under the Iron Man mask as he lowered his repulsors.
"Tony! Are you okay?"
The voice of a woman echoed out of the blue and silver suite, the face mask lifting up to reveal the face of Pepper Potts.
'What in the fuck? Isn't she just his CEO for Stark industries or something?'
[Apparently not.]
"Yeah I am okay, luckily I was able to get to my suitcase in time."
"You were enabled to get that suitcase you mean..."
I was getting a little annoyed by his lack of acknowledgement but I soon decided to blur my face from outside view, my Luminous Veil starting to create a blank space where my face used to be.
Both Tony and Potts watched me as I did this. Both of them checking me out, Tony with a more playboy style gaze as he checked out my assets, where as Potts with a serious look at my clothing and disposition. Potts did eventually move her eyes up towards my breasts and then to my ass but it took far longer than Tony to get to that stage.
Now that I had veiled myself I walked over to a swivel chair and sat down my eyes scanning my surroundings as I extended my En all over the research lab and beyond. I quickly noticed a lethal looking force of Shield operatives breaching into the house and making there way towards out current location.
"Yeah, yeah, lady your still able to crack back when there is police and possibly military showing up?"
"Mhm, I am."
"Ballsy, well, you said that your goal was to save me and you were sent on this 'mission' by 'someone', that you yourself will not name or give an answer to who they might be. You do know you will questioned and possibly tortured if I don't vouch for you."
"All good points, doesn't change the fact that I am here for that purpose and that you are still in danger."
"What danger is Tony in?"
As Tony was about to speak the beautiful blonde-brown haired Potts, with a sharp feminine jawline and blue eyes, stepped in and asked me. This stunned Tony a little and made him pout slightly.
'Haha'
I smiled somewhat under my veil before responding.
"The Monaco Grand Prix, its going to come under attack... I was honestly thinking that that was the place where you would be under danger but it seems it isn't, so... Here I am, staying here to protect him."
The breaching unit got even closer the man leading the unit being a intimidating man with a black eyepatch dressed in all black, his ebony skin poking out of his shadowy outfit.
'Hah, this is going to be interesting.'
[Indeed. *Chewing Noises*]
'What do you mean *Chewing Noises*?'
[I'm eating popcorn...]
'Oh ffs'
"So you are here as a guard of some description?"
I looked back up to Potts who wore a concerned look as she continued to gaze at me. I could feel the slight shaking in both of them as their limbs shook from exertion it seemed.
'Hmm, they seem sick... Palladium poisoning.'
[Got that answer quickly.]
'It's kind of obvious once you realise they are 'weakened' in their limbs.'
"Yes, you could describe it as that, he is important for the timeline thus I am here to protect him during this period of time... I'll know when he is safe enough that I can leave."
"Wait, the timeline?"
"The timeline, yes."
Confused expressions overcame both of them as the breaching unit got just outside of the hole made by the 'bad guys' in the research lab.
"Now, IF the uninvited guests could please come out from behind the rubble over there?"
I rose my voice so that they could hear me. Tony and Pepper immediately lowered their masks and pointed their weaponry in the direction I had indicated with my head.
A few seconds later the shadowy figure with an eyepatch, Nick Fury, stepped out from behind the rubble that used to be a wall.
"Now, now, don't be all hasty I'm not here to kill anyone I received news that Stark was under attack, seeing as how I was on my way to visit anyway I figured I'd come prepared. Stand down men, secure the perimeter!"
The squad of ten men started to exit from the rubble going to the entrances of the room and exiting through them.
"So, can I now be a part of the conversation?"
'It's very weird to see him in real life.'
[Mhm.]

Hey guys, author here, this chapter was fun to make as trying to portray the characters correctly is something I love to do... So I hope that you all enjoy it!
Also! As it is the 23rd of December 2023 when I am releasing this I will most likely be slowing down chapter writing through Christmas so from 24th, 25th and 26th of December.
