When Liu Guanyi could feel his body again, his vision was filled with metallic white color. As Liu Guanyi looked around, he found himself, Xin, and Adori inside a spacious room with white metallic walls surrounding them.

When he looked back, the dark door was nowhere to be seen as a big white metallic plate had replaced the entrance they had gone into previously.

Liu Guanyi didn't hurry up to leave the room through the door standing at the frontmost part of the room as he walked around the room instead, to observe it closely and attentively.

Xin also tried to do the same while Adori simply watched them doing their things. This was the general setup they had established over the years, and it wasn't because Adori was lazy to do reconnaissance and observation, or something along the lines.

This was just because Liu Guanyi was better at something like this than her, and he had volunteered to do this kind of thing himself.

On the other hand, Xin did the same thing as he followed Liu Guanyi since he was trained by him. Although Liu Guanyi didn't need his scouting skills, it didn't mean that training his own skills was meaningless, no, the importance of tempering his skills was still as important.

Liu Guanyi needed Xin to be powerful and skillful to be of use to him. If Xin wasn't capable, how he would be able to manage an organization on his behalf?

To be able to do that, he would need to be sufficiently strong and experienced enough, and that was where the training came in.

"Xin, how is it? Did you find anything?" Liu Guanyi asked after they had searched the room for a while.

Xin nodded lightly as he scanned the room once again. "Yes, the room is extremely clean, very oddly so to the point that there's no speck of dust on the floor or anywhere in this room."

"Also, although this might be inaccurate since we only watched the Hell Train up close for a moment, I can say that the interior of the train seems bigger than its exterior."

"Good, it seems that you don't skip even the smallest details." Liu Guanyi praised the yellow-haired teenager as he beamed happily with the praise.

Dealing with simple-minded people like Xin was easy. Everyone had something that they held the dearest, be it an object, a person, an animal, a sentiment, or whatever it was, it could become both their greatest strength and weakness.

For Xin, it was simple, the recognition of others. He had an unfortunate fate since he didn't have the most basic talent as a member of the Tu Perie family, and as the result, he was abandoned by his relatives and even by his own parents.

For Liu Guanyi, such experience wouldn't affect him the slightest since he didn't hold dear and care about familial bonds and feelings.

But for Xin, a young, weak, fragile, and susceptible child like him, his terrible childhood experience most definitely had a great impact on him.

The unconcealed scorn and disappointment of his own parents toward him that led him to be abandoned and isolated from his family. Such a harsh trauma would without a doubt, always haunt such a weak-minded child.

This was where Liu Guanyi came into his life to treat his trauma and fill the void in his heart.

Liu Guanyi was the one who reached out his hand to him when he was at his lowest point. He was also the one who treated him with "sincere" kindness and care.

Liu Guanyi was the one who showed him his worth beyond what his family had shown him. And he was the one who recognized him as a human being and guided him on his way.

Because of all these reasons, the figure of the reliable, long black-haired young man with deep dark eyes would be etched deeply in his heart and mind, replacing what was his more unpleasant memories and his childhood trauma with the memory of his good time alongside the figure.

Within the time of their journey, Liu Guanyi's influence over the youth had grown continuously, and soon, he would become his everything, what the youth held the dearest.

Liu Guanyi's mouth curled up into a smile ever so slightly.

As long as he held Xin's weakness, he would always make sure of it. He would mold the boy by his own hands into becoming his ever faithful and capable right-hand man that would follow his orders without hesitation.

Everything had its own consequences no matter how insignificant it was, and each consequence would lead to another consequence, this, was the truth.

The very moment Xin had grabbed and accepted Liu Guanyi's hand, his fate and destiny was instantly sealed.

This was the consequence of accepting his own decision to take what seemed to be the light at the end of the tunnel.

Even if he knew about this, it was already too late at this point, there was no escaping from his fate anymore.

Whether the fate of dying as a depressed regular after the floor of tests or even failing the floor of tests and returning back to his hellish family was better than taking the devil's hand was still not fully yet known. Only time could truly tell.

But from everything Xin had received and experienced until now compared to what he felt when he was living with his family and parents, maybe even if he knew what he would have to bear for grabbing that outstretched hand, he would still take that hand without hesitation.

"Alright, let's go, there's nothing more in this room other than we have confirmed that the Hell Train is magically constructed with shinsu and compression technology to make its interior bigger than its actual size and to keep it clean."

Liu Guanyi opened the metal door and walked past it.

However in a split second before he could assess whatever was beyond the door, he reflexively ducked his head to avoid something which flew at a high speed toward his head.
