The night descended upon the Train City, shrouding it in thick darkness.

The previously busy and lively train station had become mostly quiet with only some people still running around in the building compound and only a few lightings in the area.

However, just as the night quickly descended and covered the Train City, it also went away just as quickly as the blinding ray of sunlight chased away the darkness, revealing the appearance of the burning sun hanging in the cloudless sky.

As the morning had come, many regulars went out of their rooms on the 2nd floor and went toward the first floor. Their numbers were considerably fewer compared to yesterday.

It was natural, only a few of them had the Hell Train's tickets and even though they could invite the ticketless regulars to join with them, the number was small.

They were very excited and enthusiastic because the time had finally come. It was the time for the Hell Train to arrive and stop at the Train City to take the ticketers to board the train and experience a dangerous and thrilling journey full of excitement across the floors!

What made Hell Train incredibly tempting for D-ranked regulars wasn't only because of the exciting journey it offered, however. It was because the Hell Train gave a much better alternative compared to the regular way of climbing the tower by passing the administrators' tests on each floor.

It was much quicker since the tests would be conducted completely on the Hell Train while it was running at high speed toward the higher floors.

Better experience and faster way to climb the tower, these two reasons were what mainly attracted D-ranked regulars to board the infamous Hell Train, though some of the regulars had come here because of entirely different reasons, like the rumor of the "Hidden Floor" at the end of the Hell Train's journey and the existence of a gorgeous woman who lived there.

In short, the Hell Train was an exquisitely special place surrounded by many bizarre rumors that D-ranked regulars could visit to have a unique experience and faster way of climbing the tower.

While the regulars were moving toward the entrance, there was a group of people who had been staying there overnight. Xin felt a bright and warm sensation on his face and quickly opened his eyes, seeing that the morning had come.

Xin cocked his head to look around and found Adori swinging her sword, practicing her sword forms with her dexterous hands while Liu Guanyi quietly sat on the back of a big man with long turquoise hair in the lotus position with his eyes closed.

"Mr. Liu, have I been sleeping since yesterday?" Xin asked Liu Guanyi, disrupting his meditation. Xin was already used to his habit of meditating, and Liu Guanyi had told him that it was okay to interrupt him sometimes, so it was okay.

"Oh, Xin, you are already awake. Yes, you have been sleeping the whole time." Liu Guanyi opened his eyes and saw Xin getting up, though he actually didn't need to open his eyes as he had realized it the moment Xin woke up with his incredible senses.

"How do you feel?" Liu Guanyi calmly asked the injured boy.

Looking at his body covered with bandages and feeling the aching sensation all over his body, Xin had a smile and spoke with high spirits. "I feel my body is still painful and sore, especially the headache in my head. Although I won't be able to fight at my full capacity, I can still give a proper fight."

Liu Guanyi nodded. "It's a good thing that losing doesn't make you feel discouraged, Xin. Just continue with your usual training routine, you can always improve at your own pace."

"You are still very young, no need to be impatient, remember training takes a lot of time and dedication. I know that you feel pressured by being the weakest member of the team but you can't always compare yourself to others, understood?"

Xin smiled lightly. "Alright, don't worry Mr. Liu, I understand it."

"That's good if you understand it."

Xin looked at the big man in a bad state that Liu Guanyi had sat upon. "Umm, Mr. Liu isn't that the Mirotic Guardian? He looks… pretty bad."

"Yep, this is him. That's natural if he looks bad. Since he is a good punching bag, I couldn't hold back to test my skills on him." Liu Guanyi leaped off of him and smacked his head, thoroughly revealing the sorry state the Mirotic guardian was in.

His arms and legs had become crooked unnaturally, twisted in such a deformed form, making it hard to identify which one was the hands or legs. His ascetic robe was torn apart with only a few patches left hanging on his body as his body was roughened up pretty harshly with deep bruises.

However, even though the guardian looked in such a sorry state, his life wasn't going away anytime soon. It seemed that Liu Guanyi had purposedly avoided attacking his weak spots and held back from killing him to leave the guardian in a weakened state.

Of course, the guardian could still retaliate with his shinsu attacks, but to Liu Guanyi, those attacks were just as impressive as ants' bites.

It could only make him feel a little bit of pain and annoy him, but with his experience as a martial warrior, even being stabbed with a sword was nothing let alone something as trivial as an ant's bite.

"Hmm?" Suddenly Liu Guanyi felt a faint disturbance in the shinsu in the air.

He looked toward both his teammates and spoke. "Princess Adori, Xin, let's go, we have to prepare ourselves."

"Okay, I feel it as well." Adori stopped her training and walked toward them.

"What is it? I didn't feel anything." Xin said with confusion as he looked at both of them.

Liu Guanyi smiled and spoke curtly. "The train has come."

Hearing his words, a certain tall man couldn't hold back his falling tears as a great relief washed over his body, however, his hope was suddenly dashed as he heard the sinister devil's voice once again.

"Oh, don't think that I'd forget you. Don't worry, I'll give you a parting gift so you will always remember me." Liu Guanyi looked back as he said with a smile.
