-------------------------------

Three days had passed as the free time had ended for the regulars. After relaxing and de-stressing with many luxurious treatments, they were ready to take on the hard challenges the host would throw in their ways, at least they thought they did, of course.

However, the reality had slapped them hard on the face. Did they think they could win the Workshop battle with their puny strength and capabilities?

"Ahhhhhhh! Mercy, please! I give up!" A man screamed his lungs out in pain as his arm was cut off to beg his opponent to spare him.

"Hehe, maybe I'll give it a thought if you send me all of your points." A red-skinned human with a bull's horn smirked menacingly.

"Alright, alright, I'll do it! Just promise to spare me!"

The bull-horned man walked closer and spoke right in front of his face. "Sure, I promise I'll let you go once after you send me all of your points. Remember don't try to deceive me, it must be all of your points!"

The one-armed man quickly turned on the visibility of his pocket and transferred all of his points to the bull-horned man's pocket. "T-there it is, please go now! You have promised to let me go!"

"Hmm, is this all of your points? You are really a poor guy, aren't you?" The bull-horned man said as he looked into his account.

"Well, goodbye, poor guy. Thank you for donating to my cause." He smiled and pierced the poor man's gut with his spear.

"Urgh!" He screamed once again as he felt his gut was torn apart.

"You've promised to let me g-go!" He managed to squeeze those words even after his gut was pierced as his entire being was fueled with anger.

"Yea, I did promise to let you go, let you go to hell. Don't worry, I will make sure to use your points for a better cause." The red-skinned bull smirked and reassured the man as he fell into the endless darkness.

This kind of tragedy happened as many regulars were greedy.

If they had done their research and thought about it deeply, they would know that only the top teams among E-ranked regulars would reap some benefits from the Workshop battle as it had always been for millenniums.

And instead of throwing their lives away by dreaming of getting special items from the Workshop, they should be realistic about it and just accept the cold, hard facts and worker harder and smarter instead.

"Well, it's better to go now. Hopefully, those damned monsters have already passed this stage." He got up and was about to walk away-

"Where you're going to go, red guy?" Before a man with light blue hair suddenly appeared beside him in a flash of blue light.

"How are you still here?! There are only two minutes left before the time will run out! You should have finished the race a long time ago!" He exclaimed in disbelief as he saw the leader of the strongest team in the E-ranked regulars.

"Well, I just don't like seeing you guys' faces. It irks me when weaklings try to roach while the strong players fight among themselves. So, I just want to get rid of all of you, weaklings in our group before finishing the race."

"Simple, right?" The blue-haired man smiled kindly as electricity started to appear in his hand.

Crackle! Crackle!

The sound of raging electrical currents reverberated in the air, and with a wide smile on his face, the blue-haired man appeared to look like the devil to him.

"It seems you are also enjoying tormenting the weak, huh? Well, weaklings like you always bully the weaker ones instead of challenging the strong."

"Don't worry, I'm not like you, I don't have the time to waste with the likes of you anyway." The electrical currents in his hand merged and formed a lightning spear as the light blue-haired man pointed it at him.

"Wait, I can-" The bull tried to say something but the blue-haired man didn't give a damn as he quickly thrust his spear at his heart, piercing his chest and frying his organs with the high voltage electrical power.

"Another trash who wants to roach is finally cleansed." He dispersed the lightning spear as the fried corpse fell to the ground as smokes wafted off from it.

"There's only a minute left, but I'm sure they have finished the rest. This group is pretty easy but once the Workshop battle advances into the later stages, we will meet them."

"I'm not afraid of those Lo Po Bia folks, the leader might be from the main branch but he isn't a direct descendant. As long as I keep my guard against his tricks, he's nothing." He whispered.

"However, that princess is dangerous. Let's see how she will perform in the earlier stages before I can consider fighting her. Hopefully, those animal lovers will meet them before me to test her." Electricity formed on his feet as he kicked off the ground and vanished from the spot.

. . . . . .

The first stage was divided into ten groups with dozens of regulars in each group.

The first stage was simple, they only had to pass the obstacles and arrive at the finish line, although they could do anything they wanted to prevent other regulars from getting to the finish line in the middle of the test to make the next stage easier with fewer competitors.

Ray and his teammates were the only ones who managed to finish in their group, with the rest of the regulars dead. Some of them died by bleeding or having their bodies and organs damaged.

Some of them had their bones and skulls broken apart, and some of them were even burned to ashes. They were ruthless and powerful, as expected of the top team among the E-ranked regulars.

The Animas weren't too far behind them, they didn't kill everyone in their group but they did kill many of them. Unlike them, they didn't leave any signs of their handiwork as the regulars had disappeared without a trace.

This trend occurred in all of the groups.

Even though there weren't any teams that were comparable to the two, it was always the strong who survived and dominated the group as most of the weak ones were already culled.

Of course, Liu Guanyi, Adori, and Xin passed easily, though without creating too much of a commotion like them.

This was merely the beginning, but more than half of the regulars were already dead or were too injured to continue the Workshop battle.

"Hello, regulars! I hope your brief rest has made you energized because the second stage will start… Now!" A voice suddenly resounded across the area.
